Excellent food and service. Very much enjoy dining at Tosca.
Amazing halibut and house special fettuccini . Was a last minute reservation and food this good shouldn’t be available as a last minute reservation but thankful We stumbled upon it. A memorable night..that included comments like “best halibut I’ve ever had”. Waitress was delightful.. attentive, playful and great fun. She was a memorable part of the night.
Excellent spot for pre-theatre dining!
Tosca is one of my favorite restaurants in DC. From the time you enter the restaurant until departing you are treated s a special guest. The Maitre D' is extraordinary and the food and service beyond compare.
We had the pre-theatre dinner. The food was fantastic and the timing was perfect. I will return for sure.
The best Italian restaurant in town! As an Italian I can say that without a doubt
Tosca’s food and ambiance are perfect for a very lovely dinner out. Highly recommend it👍
Yodit and Angela are the best servers.
Good place for a pre-theater meal. Large wine list, pre-theater menu
Went for dinner before a show at Warner Theater. Selected from the "Dine at Dusk" menu with limited selections for a 3 course app, main, dessert dinner for $45 each. Paired with an excellent bottle of wine a bit more expensive than the meal. All in all, a great value for the quality of food and experience.
Top notch food, service and overall experience.
Elegant Italian restaurant. Great service, wonderful food. Highly recommended.
Dishes are not just delicious they are an adventure.
Incredible Italian from salads to Alba truffles. Jose was our server, best of the best.
Liked it enough that we are going back for a second visit tonight.
The waiters were professional, but very aloof. The food and drinks were delicious, and I really appreciated that the portion sizes weren't obscenely huge. But the prices were unexpectedly high.
Brilliant food, excellent service, reasonably priced for the value in a town sorely lacking all of these.
Excellent service. Attentive and friendly.
Visiting with a good friend.
Excellent food, attentive staff, good ambience. Will return
The food is excellent, the ambience is outstanding and the service is terrific. We had a truly outstanding waiter who really knew the food, was very friendly without being overbearing and provided excellent and timely service.
Superb eating in an elegant setting. Should be considered among the top-tier restaurants in DC, and certainly one of if not the best Italian restaurant. Excellent choice for a special occasion or celebration. Quiet, elegant, excellent food and attentive service. Highly recommended.
Splendid food. Wonderful ambiance. Can’t wait to go back.
The food was phenomenal and we are very likely to go again. The service was interesting. The waiter came often but seemed to randomly leave as if he didn’t want to talk to us and seemed annoyed when we didn’t decide on something but he got better as the night went on. He was very good with presentation and knowledgeable of all items on the menus.
Food and service was outstanding
Tosca provides wonderful food with attentive service and pleasant surroundings. Well worth a regular visit.
You can always count on Tosca for amazing food, great atmosphere and all in all wonderful experience.
Excellent as always.
Menu selections were limited, prices were high, service was spotty, and a bigger party was given preferential treatment; took me 15 mintes to get my check. Reviews were misleading.
Tosca is a true dining experience. One of the finest
Italian restaurants in DC currently. Expect fresh seafood with creative preparations. Love the pasta
Specials and great appetizer options. The service is the best in town. In short very deserving of Michelin stars.
Would highly recommend.
I have been dining at least 4 times a year as I travel in from Houston. My group was meeting with of blessed memory Justice Scalia and recommended Tosca to us. That was abut 13 years ago I recall the pasta dishes and special pasta dishes were outstanding and delicious. Each year I would take charge of ordering for my group and typically I would select most of the pastas to share. Sometime around 4 years ago things changed the pastas were very good but not great. This week I noticed a dramatically slimed down menu offering and the pastas were good but not remarkable. I will continue to return but for the first time I will look ahead of time for a new chef owned if highly influenced venue. The consistency of the folks greeting me is very commendable and wait staff top notch.
Met friends for a long awaited get together. Fourth visit here based on previous excellent food and experience. This time, service was, as usual, outstanding. Excellent recommendations and accommodation of requests. Top notch. Big disappointment was the kitchen. Ordered the veal chop, which arrived so undercooked that it bordered on raw. First time in over 40 years of fine dining that I sent a dish back. Took an additional 20 minutes to get the new chop, during which the remainder of the table hesitated to enjoy their meals. Negatively impacted the whole experience. Our server apologized and was clearly bothered. No apology from manager, no offer of anything to accommodate.
A place like this that charges top end prices in a highly competitive market has to be better than this. Tosca has always been an automatic reservation for us when in D.C. Will probably explore other places next trip.
Tosca never disappoints. Great simply grilled fish, salads great and pasta is always terrific.
The pasta with duck ragu was outstanding!
Great food and nice service.
The best Italian restaurant in town. Definitely, my go to place!
Everything was absolutely amazing!😃
Great experience! We will definitely be back. Food was great service was great the whole experience was wonderful
