Spent a very pleasant evening here with family. The food and service were really good. Relaxing ambience and spacious.
One of the best Italian restaurants in London! Always excellent food with a lovely atmosphere- highly recommended!
We recently lost our fine Italian restaurant Enoteca in Putney. Totide could fill their shoes. They deserve our support.
Delicious food and lovely people.
Always lovely - Totide is a local favorite and I'm never disappointed by the food, the staff or the amazing wine list... Worth a visit!
The food was good although not outstanding. Our sharing platter of "gnocco fritto" (a kind of fried doughnut) with various cured meats was good, but the combination of fried bread and cured meat was too heavy - some rocket or other leaves would have helped. We followed this with various pasta dishes - the texture of the pasta was good but the tomato sauce and ragu had an overpoweringly sharp taste. The restaurant was completely empty apart from us, yet the waitress payed more attention to her phone than to us - we had to refill our own wine glasses more than once and it was difficult to attract her attention to take our order. The lighting was harsh, with boppy Italian pop music which did nothing for the atmosphere. There are some very good restaurants nearby with better food and much better ambience.
The food was delicious however we only came for a quick dinner before a girls night out and we ended up staying for 3 hours waiting for our food and drinks. We only ordered one course each and we waited ages. The wait staff were very apologetic but both clearly too busy to deal with the demand in the restaurant.
Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant was full and the two waitresses were flat out - as a result our service was very slow but we actually didn't mind that as it meant we could relax and have a leisurely meal. The wine was lovely, steaks delicious and the starters and sharing platters are particularly good. The only downside was the panacotta we had for dessert which, although absolutely delicious in taste, had a grainy texture and therefore I think it had split. This didn't detract from the overall experience though and we would come back.
Brilliant. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Go
