   We arrived early so they were t ready for us. We were ushered upstairs to the Tower & apart from two ladies in dressing gowns - we were the only ones there. The waitress was a bit frosty but did warm to us in time. The food wasn’t very inspiring but overall tasted okay. We had to chase the staff for more tea & then jam & cream. We were treating an old family friend for her 90th birthday - we were a bit disappointed.

   My husband and I ate here on 4.5.25. Th service was a bit erratic to begin with and slow to take drinks and food order. The starter if pate was delicious. The main of fish and chips was OK. The chips were lovely as was the tartare sauce. The batter in the fish was soggy rather than crispy and not very pleasant to eat! The desert and cheese board were good as was the wine. The breakfast service was chaotic! The continental breakfast and juice were finished at 9 15am although breakfast ran until 9 45. There were 4couples queuing for about 10 minutes. Our tea/coffee and toast order was given to another table and we waited almost 15 minutes for our food order to be taken only to be told there were no potato scones left!!!!

   Heel raar restaurant. Hier heb je helemaal niet het gevoel dat je op restaurant zit, maar eerder ik een oude vieze bar.

   The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. However the food let the hotel down. There was only one vegetarian option in the Tower Restaurant and unfortunately this was a huge let down. Pea and shallot tortellini with pesto. Was disgustingly. Can only assume the chef is not a vegetarian and did not try the food before allowing it to leave the kitchen. My husband and I held our wedding reception and his 50th birthday party there so we have lovely memories of your hotel. Disappointing meal but everything else was lovely.

   Had a lovely meal, everything was cooked and presented well. Our young server was great; overall a good experience.

   Was disappointed in the starter haggis, neeps and tatties, did not taste any neeps! Otherwise the rest of the meal was fine

   Service was quite slow. Long time waiting even for the drinks. Not a big variety of food. The food was delicious though. The variety for breakfast can be more. In the morning there was no proper coffee. That is place for adults and we all know how important is the morning coffee for people. Recommendation is espresso coffee mashine to be available.

   Service was really good lady was lovely and helpful fast with service but was disappointed in the fish as it was soggy couldn't eat it but haggis neeps was beautiful shame about the fish
