We booked for a Sunday lunch at 13.30. It was very quiet. The staff were very laid back and one of the guys was really irritating - we didn’t need a floor show just good food and service when required. All of us ordered roast beef, it arrived with everything piled on top of each other with a large yorkshire pudding on top which I think was there to disguise the minute amount of vegetables that were served plus literally a dribble of gravy round it. All very mediocre, not very warm and lacking in seasoning. After asking for salt both mills were empty and we had to wait ages for them to be replaced. Why skimp on vegetables and gravy? The cheapest part of the meal and could make all the difference. We won’t be returning, and I imagine they think everyone is a tourist, but we were locals. Total disappointment and not cheap.

Attentive staff and a laid-back vibe. We ordered cocktails & they were very good with hefty amount of alcohol in both! The main menu had only four options, and after being told that our choice of duck was not available (ditto all burgers on Bar menu) - we were left with only 3 choices. None of those appealed, so we decided to pay for drinks & leave. The Thai restaurant close by had many more choices. Not a great first visit to Town+House..

Great meal, 2 issues, the coleslaw portion was very small and very small pot of chips as well. Overall we had a great time and the chicken burger was perfect, just slightly disappointed by size of side portions.

Fun, relaxed vibe with attentive staff. Food was creative and really tasty. Enjoyed the grilled bass and fish cake which were scrumptious. Deserts were really nice, just the right amount with amazing flavours. Would definitely come back….. in fact we did and the pizza was delicious.

The staff at the Town + House were very polite and accommodating, despite us arriving late for our booking. As we were leaving our waiter, whom had finished his shift , bid us farewell as he would old friends Food was delicious, cocktails excellent. We enjoyed a very pleasant evening here and would highly recommend to all.

As before, great service, reliably very good food, lovely atmosphere and an excellent drinks choice. Menu changes now and again and was better last time, especially desserts. Still plenty to choose from though so decided to try the burgers and pizzas this time - very happy!

Lovely restaurant, visited for the first time with my husband for dinner. We sat at the bar for a drink and then sat downstairs for a meal. Nice ambience, feels casual and relaxing but good is very good and presented nicely. Would definitely come again!

Really nice, laid back Sunday lunch. Lovely ambience and great food. There's a lot of places doing Sunday lunches that feel as though they're cooked and served by a conveyor belt. That wasn't the case here, where the food felt fresh and inventive. Service was relaxed but professional, even to the point of providing a dog bed for our little hound. A happy Sunday...

We had an early family supper on a Saturday night. My Clover Club was particularly delicious. Everyone was very happy with their steaks, burgers, Koftas and flat breads. Could have stayed a lot longer!

We used to attend the previous King William but after it changed hands gave it a miss however I and my guests attended a Sunday Lunch yesterday and found the whole experience great. The food was cooked to perfection and not too heavy for a roast. We asked to have cheese (which wasn't on the menu) and the chef came up with a really nice plate of cheese and fruit. The service was outstanding and the team seemed really dedicated and happy in their jobs. We will definitely be returning!! Thank you all. Julian

What an amazing discovery! Everything was absolutely perfect. Nothing can be faulted about this charming place. The people were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, a small menu but packed with flavours. Street parking around the corner was easy. If you have the opportunity visit this place you won’t be disappointed.
