Very good food and service. Was fortunate to have a quiet room for the meal, as it could have been very noisy otherwise. Some good fish & veggie options. The monkfish was excellent

A warm welcome for drinks downstairs followed by great food upstairs with fantastic service from a fun and knowledgeable waiter. Some really interesting menu choices and all really tasty. Sticky fig / toffee pud to die for was a great way to finish the meal. Good quality wine by the glass and an excellent hazy IPA for pre dinner drinks.

Efficient, friendly staff , delicious food . Like many restaurants these days the wine is pricy hence 4 stars value for money. Good choices for vegetarian and vegan ( we are neither but that doesn’t stop us enjoying it).

Really enjoyed our meal here. Small intimate gastopub style. Neatly styled with cool minimalist decor. Food was extremely tasty and well presented. Pork croquettes were delicious. Rich flavours to the venison. Decent house wine. Friendly personable staff.

Fantastic Sunday lunch! The beef was cooked to perfection and the sticky fig pudding was to die for. Delicioius selection of wines. All served up by our wonderfully friendly and incredibly helpful waiter Cosmo.

We had a fabulous meal here. The ambience and service were wonderful. We were made to feel extremely welcome and received top class service. The cocktails are probably the best we have ever had. What a great find to celebrate my 50th birthday.

This restaurant is a gem. The service was friendly and very attentive without being over bearing. We sat upstairs at a window seat, the small dining area filled up quickly which created a lovely atmosphere. Our food was first class. The vegetarian scotch was wonderful as was each course we had. The wine selection is not the usual Merlot, Malbec etc they have obviously given it great consideration. I couldn’t recommend Town+House highly enough.

The food and staff was excellent. We had a great time at the Town+House and have already booked for our next visit. The roast dinner was excellent and very tasty. An hours trip to Bath made worthwhile.

The night out with our friends was redeemed by the food. We were told that there were problems in the kitchen but with two of the main course of five off at 7pm on a Friday night and one starter with only 3 portions one wonders .... wtf! We waited over an hour for our starters which were delicious but we had already quaffed one bottle of wine and needed another. The wine selection went from £22 up to the next choice at £34 - a huge hike I think. A bit more in-between would be good. Main courses were again a wait but were delicious. I didn't like the back room upstairs with only two tables for 4 and only occupied by us it was pretty soulless and I would imagine sharing it with another table would be a bit weird as well. The one staff member was friendly and apologetic but we declined the 12.5% service which I think would have been nice for them not to add considering the problems or at least offer a bottle of wine in apology. Great food but not a great night out.

Beautifully cooked Sunday roast. Fish was delicious but the leeks were tough because not cooked for long enough. Next time I will ask them to cook them for longer! Friendly waiters.

Very relaxed but stylish atmosphere with friendly hosts. The food was outstanding. We were astounded to discover what a busy night they'd had with minimum staff as it did not come across that way at all. Highly recommend town + house. Can't wait to return.

We had a wonderful experience there on Saturday 17th September for my birthday. The service was so friendly and yet polite. The food was excellent and we were reminded about the saving to be made on the early bird deal (as we had arrived early). The whole experience was fabulous and we will definately be rebooking.

We had such a great evening at the Town + House. The food was delicious. Both waiters we were friendly, polite and kind. We’re not Bath locals, unfortunately, and to come back would mean a 3.5 hours drive… but to say we’re considering it tells you everything you need to know this place. If you get the chance, give it a go.

My husband had beef roast and I had the chicken. It was so delicious. Perfect portion size. Come hungry because desserts need to be eaten. We had the French toast with peach’s and ice cream, it was Aso good. Service was fantastic too and a great selection of beers, cocktails and soft drinks.
