Townfield's Restaurant is situated inside the Cresta Court Hotel, Altrincham.

The restaurant serves a great range of food ranging from slowly braised lamb Henry, steaks, fresh seared salmon or our vegetarian dishes. There is something on the menu for everyone.

Heading up the kitchen, our Head Chef Gary works with his team to prepare you meal from an open kitchen, this is the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Our food was delicious, especially the Lamb Henry. Service of the food and wine was very good. Our only disappointment was not being able to stay a second night at the hotel and dine at Townfields again!

My mum and I had a wonderful meal at the ‘Townfields’ restaurant in the ‘Cresta Court Hotel.’ We were served by an absolutely wonderful lady who was brilliant at her job and the food was absolutely superb quality, even if it was a case of quality over quantity! Would definitely dine there again.

Table of 4 on a Friday night. Received a burger that wasn't cooked properly, sent it back only to receive another burger that was raw in the middle. It's completely unacceptable. Dilute juice tasted like water, we found out that they had run out... Every table sent food back, we were all a part of a tour party. For the size of the eating area they were not busy.. Told another group of 5 they couldn't eat there because there was 5 of them even tho the majority of the tables were empty.

Booked a pre theatre meal at the last minute. Went at 5 30pm so the restaurant was quiet. Very good food and service.

Starter was never delivered. The steak dish was lovely, but the cod loin dish was unusual. The large amount of chilli on the fish spoilt the taste. The dish was also encircled with new potatoes, which made the whole meal look like it was constructed by a child.

Although we booked to eat in the restaurant we were asked to eat in the bar due to coach party booking restaurant. Menu quite limited more like snach bar. Over priced and over cooked. Overall very disappointed.

My partner’s Greek salad was sparse and inedible. Portion was tiny and swimming in water because the lettuce had not been dried. Earlier 2 pints of orange and soda water were ordered. A pint of orange juice and one pint of orange and soda came instead. French fries came with the battered fish instead of the chunky chips as advertised. The freshness of the fish was questionable. Service slow but very courteous and helpful.

Theatre menu wasn’t available even though advertised on line. Gammon steak cooked ok but only accompanied with French fries and not skin on ones as advertised. Only small basket of fries, pineapple ring tasted of fish and a very small amount of peas in a ramekin dish. No other veg. Husband’s chicken curry was dried up. To be fair 1 dessert wasn’t charged for to compensate disappointment with the curry. Waitress had not checked if food ok until main course had been eaten! Lots of advertised dishes were not available.
