Tramonto at Vidanta Riviera Maya
Experience a taste of Italy at Tramonto. Chef Luis Angel Torres Casarubias champions a creative menu that features a rich mix of American and Italian cuisine. Visit with a friend for dinner and indulge in a delicious made-to-order pasta dish or some juicy prime rib. Stop by the bar for some wine or a lively cocktail.
Located in the Vidanta Riviera Maya resort, this upscale restaurant is an ideal pick for a romantic date. The restaurant is a popular pick for many tourists and comes with an outdoor smoking area. Tramonto is open Monday to Sunday.
Food very bland no taste at all
Not traditional Italian food. Chicken Parm is not chicken parmigiana. Basically sauté chicken in butter with pasta on the side. Meatballs taste like breakfast sausage. Don’t recommend.
Excellent food and service as usual, with plenty of quiet and ambiance.
Over the years our expectations have always been met. Thanks to Victor for a special evening.
5 Star service and food! Bravo! We enjoyed our stay very much!
We went to Tramonto for the last day of our trip and it was the best restaurant we ate at during the week. Everyone in our party enjoyed the dining experience. The service with Francisco was excellent. The food was excellent, although the portions were small for the price. The presentation on everything was fantastic. The tiramisu, was very good, but it wasn't tiramisu. It was a chocolate covered tiramisu ice cream. Also, the cannoli looked like it should, but it was ice cream, and not mascarpone cheese. I would go back again since it is one of the best restaurants at Vidanta.
Excelente comida y trato de todo el personal .
Súper recomendable el mozo que nos atendió
This is my favorite restaurant on property, the food is outstanding, all the pasta dishes are heavenly, the steak and shrimp cooked just right and the service is impeccable.
We had a lovely quiet dinner. Violin music made it special. Food was delicious. Service was great.
Just OK. Felt the other restaurants at the resort we are far superior.
Surprisingly elegant for a beach-side resort. Menu was sophisticated. Wine list diverse. Be sure to ask for Daniel - 1st rate service!
This restaurant is top notch....the food, the service, all of it. Our server, Alfredo, was excellent. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area!
Wife ordered the ravioli with arugula and ?? She says it was ok. I had the pasta carbonara and we both agreed it was delicious. Great service. Never rushed.
Francisco is an excellent waiter. Her served us two of the three times we ate there. The food is excellent.
We go there a few times every year and we keep going back because of the excellent food and service! I would highly recommend it.I
Excellent dining experience. Wilbereth was wonderful waiter.
We are on vacation at The Grand Luxxe. Two weeks this trip. We were here 6 weeks ago for Thanksgiving. Always excellent. Our server Daniel was terrific as all staff are throughout the resort.
It was a fabulous experience. The ambiance could be improved with dimmer lighting
Food was delicious. Service by Francisco was outstanding.
One of the best restaurants at the Vidanta. The service is excellent, the ambiance is relaxing and the food is always great. While there are certainly a few pricey options, the menu also includes some very reasonably priced pasta dishes.
Fantastic restaurant, everything we had was great and service top notch!!
Food was excellent my server Miguel was attentive, offered suggestions, pleasant I would definitely definitely be asked to be seated in his section.
Wonderful evening and food! Lasagne to die for. 👍🏻
La comida si estaba rica, pedimos lasagna boloñesa, espagueti boloñesa, fetuccini fruta di mare.
Los platos bien presentados.
Precio un poco alto.
Veal Medallions were excellent. Partner's spaghetti sauce was very flavorful. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in fine Italian food.
1st seated next to live music which was so loud could not even hear my server so we got moved to the back which was much better. The presentation of all dishes was excellent. The food tasted very good with the exception of my dish which had very hard crunchy broccoli pieces which were not divulged in the menu. The restaurant comp'd my ice cream dessert as a result which was very kind. The ice cream scoop serving sizes were extremely small but the ice cream tasted excellent.
We had booked in for the ribeye evening but didn’t get the ribeye as it had to be pre ordered? We had no knowledge of this
The food, beverages, service, live music with a violinist... Loved the atmosphere in general. Highly recommended.
Everything was amazing. Ore server was excellent, the help with our wine choice was perfect, food exceptional and the music was the icing on the cake. Perfect evening.
Tramonto is the best restaurant on the Vidanta property!
The food is consistently wonderful; the service is wonderful and the ambiance just cannot be beat!
Alfredo is the best!
Thanks team Tramonto! Cannot wait to return!
Food, service and wine were excellent!
It was a birthday evening and that was mentioned when making a reservation trough this site, but nothing spesial was payd attention to. So we were a little bit disappointed.
Sat outside around sunset; beautiful setting and quiet. Staff were excellent and prompt. Food great and the recommendation on a sparkling wine excellent
Only if they didn’t mind it being noisy The food was good and the waiter was good. The hostess should have given us a table that was not next to a big table as it was extremely noisy. There were other tables for 2 available.
Our waiter Alfredo was phenomenal. The violinist made the whole experience, he was wonderful!
We had an excellent dinner at Tramonto. The Osso Bucco was amazing as were all of the other dishes we ordered. Don’t miss the Carmel pudding dessert - very rich but so decadent!
Our dream away from home. Wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world.
Excellent food, superb service, live music great atmosphere!
Great food and service!!
Quality of food is amazing!!
Excellent ambience, food and service, although the prices were steep for my normal dinner budget. The entertainment was very enjoyable, a violinist who played an electric violin. Style was improvisational jazz, covering many popular standards from the 40s and 50s.
