Excellent food, not enough people know about it.
Average pseudo-Italian restaurant in Britain. Probably the best option is pizza, everything else is the classic sort of “Italian” food you’d never have in Italy. Reasonable value for money, especially if you’re not expecting Italian food.
We came here for our anniversary dinner. All staff were great and very helpful. We did wait a while for our starters due to a christmas party however our mains arrived very quickly. Food was really good but we struggled to eat it as the portions were quite large
This is a great little place, hugely under rated as an Italian restaurant.
Service is good, not fantastic, do not expect the flare, chat and enthusiasm that Italian waiters normally bring, these guys are not Italian, but very polite and engaging.
However, do not come here for the chat, come here for the food...….
They have all the classics, beautifully presented with good to large portions and very hot....a condition many restaurants seem to lack these days, all at reasonable prices for the location .
Overall great place for large groups and families.
Being part of the Thames Hotel, you can visit the bar before of after, across the hall, for views of the River and on occasion live music.
Nice table for four on a very quiet Thurs night. Food and service were fine and the menu was looking good, though we were told that some items were off the menu that night.. oh and by the way, the roast veg is different from what's on the menu! Never mind, the lamb shanks were just fine and even though the sticky toffee pudding was really too sweet, 3/4 of us managed most of it. Overall, not bad, will be back.
