Trinity Ratings and Reviews
Fantastic experience. Staff were wonderful and willing to do anything you required. Food was very good, beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The quality and value to cost seemed spot on, with portions not being too small or too large. Would definitely recommend anybody visit this restaurant at least once.
This is without doubt the best dining experience we've had in a long while. The food was cooked and presented in the most exquisite way - it was delicious!.
We arrived slightly later than the booked time, but that wasn't a problem to them - they were the perfect bosts.
Will definitely return next time we're in Cambridge.
Two of our party ordered lamb well done and it was superb; so often chef doesn’t cook it well done but this was meltingly good. The lemon sole was gorgeous and the veggie option (butternut squash terrine) was far from “samey”. Portions were not huge which was good as it meant we had space for puddings - delicious lemon posset and chocolate torte.
Atmosphere is a little lacking but fine. Only criticism is toilets are inaccessible for those not capable of going up and down very steep stairs.
We were staying overnight in Cambridge to celebrate a significant birthday and a wedding anniversary. We were so impressed with everything our meal at Trinity provided. Great service, a couple of delicious bottles of not-overpriced wine, a menu promising some very tasty dishes and an ambiance to match. Our starter of scallops and pork belly was fresh tasting and my hake main course was absolutely mouth watering. Add to that, a sumptuous chocolate dessert and you have the recipe for a perfect evening. Will definitely return.
We ate here for the first time this week and will definitely return. My wife has very exacting tastes on fish and it’s preparation. She loved it, so that’s a thumbs up not often given even to Michelin starred!
Wine was excellent without being pricey. It felt friendly and I believe the chefs are talented indeed.
Thank you :-)x
Very good service, we were made to feel very welcome and staff were very attentive without being invasive (i.e. didn't keep checking that everything was okay between mouthfuls - just right!). The food was excellent, creative and very tasteful whilst avoiding the 'would-be celebratory TV Chef' territory. There was also sufficient space between tables which was nice for intimate conversation. One slight criticism is the toilets, although nicely decorated and installed there was only two individual rooms.
A menu that is inline with expectation for an establishment in this part of Cambridge. Great food which was full of flavour, with knowledgeable staff who made the evening all the more pleasant. If there was one thing I would like to see more of, it would be vegetarian options on the main menu. That aside, I will be back for more!!!
Lovely food and service. I requested an upstairs table when booking online. When we arrived, a table wasn't ready but we were warmly welcomed and given a table downstairs to look at menus and order drinks before moving back upstairs! Very helpful staff and food was LUSH.
