Sunday: 12:00 - 21:00
Easy booking on OpenTable. We were seated downstairs which was very quiet and cosy at the same time.
We had scallops for starters. Extremely soft and well decorated dish. I had chicken for mains, my friend had trout. Both were tender and delicious.
It was very reasonable priced.
Service was brilliant and staffs were so friendly.
Will definitely recommend to friends and family, and will also come again!
We had a very enjoyable meal at the Trinity. The food was delicious, the service good without being intrusive, and the ambience pleasant. Booking through Opentable was simplicity itself and the whole occasion just a really nice experience. Thoroughly recommended.
Enjoyed the set price lunch menu - a good choice of options and very good value.
I love this restaurant. It's my second visit here and the food and service are fabulous. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.
I was there for the second time already and this time it was even better. Outstanding menu and good ambience. Worth the slightly high prices. The wine service could be improved just to get an impression about all of the wines. Overall a very enjoyable experience which I would definetely reccomend.
Cambridge is short of decent restaurants, and this is certainly one of the few. I suppose it doesn't matter for tourists, but as a local I wish they would change the menu more frequently. But what there is is a good selection, and the cooking is excellent. The wine list is very good - reasonably priced, and with quite a few unusual options that look well worth trying. The service is attentive and friendly. Ideal for a business meal, or a relatively well-heeled tourist, I'd say.
nice restaurant with great friendly staff. Food is very good and the set menu is good value for money
As with previous visit, the whole experience was lovely. Relaxed, great food and excellent service that was just the right level of attentiveness.
Have been a number of times, usually as a pre-theatre meal. Was delighted to find that my note, when booking, about my allergy was noted and, when the waiter came up with the menus, he asked which of us had the allergy. Felt like they were taking it seriously, which is great, as have had problems at other restaurants. Lovely food and good staff - can't fault.
Lovely food, excellent service and really good value lunch. First visit and will definitely come again. Fairly small menu with plenty of fish choices
It was a last minute date night plan...it was fun even though we sat downstairs on our own (which was quiet romantic). Attentive staff...would recommend
Excellent children's menu, (no burgers and chips or pizza here!) which is very difficult to find even in the best restaurants. Clean place, excellent food and friendly and relaxed staff.
Me and my partner were very apprehensive when we looked at the menu choices. We are both fussy and the combinations caught us off guard, however!!! The food was fantastic throughout (we had the haddock) and the presentation was stunning. Will be going back and recommending to others. Price very reasonable and not pretentious - excellent service and very good atmosphere - Thank you Trinity
I spent quite a bit of time researching good places to eat in Cambridge that were central with an interesting menu and affordable. Trinity didn't disappoint, our party of four all agreed it was one of the best meals out we'd had in a long time. The menu is varied, food beautifully presented and excellent service. I really liked the ambience and décor and would definitely come back again.
Second visit. Two levels, one below ground. Compact, but not overly so. Great welcome.
Waiter, Adrian, brilliant. Informative and helpful. Jersey oysters and black velvet to start, perfect. Scallops to follow, delicious. Fish of the day, sea-bream, outstanding, washed down with a reasonably priced Reisling. Cheese selection to finish, straight from the fridge, my only criticism.
A wonderful restaurant, keep it up. Well done.
WE TOOK OUR TWO DAUGHTERS OUT FOR LUNCH TO CELEBRATE OUR DAUGHTER'S 20TH BIRTHDAY. EXCELLENT FOOD AND CHAMPAGNE WITH OYSTERS (AT A GOOD PRICE). GREAT SERVICE AND NICE ATMOSPHERE WITH A LOVELY WINDOW SEAT. SPECIAL TOUCH WHEN A SMALL DISH OF ICE CREAM AND CANDLE WITH HAPPY BIRTHDAY WRITTEN ON THE PLATE WAS DELIVERED AT THE END OF THE MEAL. WAS RECOMMENDED TO TRY BY A FRIEND AND HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED TO FRIENDS. WOULD DEFINATELY VISIT AGAIN.
Been here a few times, generally excellent. The set menu is better than the a la carte in my opinion but only available Mon - Fri lunchtime. Oysters excellent. Should think about changing the menu more frequently as we ate here in July and the same menu still in October.
A small modern restaurant. We enjoyed the food and were looked after very well, especially by our waitress Rachel. The only thing we didn't like were the bright LED spotlights downstairs but we were moved to the ground floor without a fuss.
We received a very warm welcome with attentive but not intrusive service. The food was well explained and delicious accompanied by VERY reasonably priced drinks. To start we had the scallops and hen’s egg which were perfect. Then the chicken and tuna, the latter was particularly good as it was only seared on the edges which highlights the great quality of the fish, the spice of which was beautifully countered by the cucumber. Desserts were great too. We will definitely be back.
We were happy with everything. However. Small note. A side dish was forgotten on our order. It was neither busy enough, nor any other reasoning as to why this was forgotten from our order.
As a ‘good will gesture’ it would have been appropriate to take off the bill, or halved the price at least, this was not offered, or even acknowledged at the end of our meal.
Classy restaurant right in the heart of Cambridge. Interesting menu and all dishes were very well executed. Good value set lunch.
perfect environment! enjoyed the place, the food and service!
Each dish ordered was prepared with so much care and detail. Loved it!
We ordered fish - it was cooked to perfection and elements on the plate balanced so well, the chicken was not tough, and suprisingly flavourful, and finally the scallops were beautifully presented but a little on the bland side overall.
Dessert - the basil and raspberry creme brulee was divine, and the elderflower jelly added a refreshing touch.
Would certainly recommend and revisit.
We loved the food and the staff were so brilliant! They made my friend's birthday very very special! The value for money was excellent and we would 100% go there again.
We had a great meal at Trinity on Saturday evening to celebrate our anniversary. Unusual, inventive menu which was very well executed. Excellent, friendly service. Highly recommended.
We were delighted by the friendly greeting and great service.
The oysters were fantastic, the starters were tasty and the right size for our party.
The list of main courses is short but varied and the quality of cooking and presentation is excellent.
We had a fantastic evening and will visit Trinity again!
Tried the pre-theatre menu, which was very good. The service prompt, but not rushed. Overall I would say that Trinity has an excellent set menu in terms of quality, and the wine list is also worth looking at.
Excellent restaurant in the heart of lively Cambridge!
Beautiful food and great service to Michelin standard but without the stuffiness often found in restaurants of this level.
Loved it, would definitely recommend and go back.
Wonderful food in a lovely venue
Will definitely be back s a favourite when visiting our son!
Fantastic food, interiors a little lacklustre and uninspiring shame they dont match the great food but overall a nice place for dinner
Food and service was exceptional quality. I recommend the Scallops and Hake just so stunning flavours.
An average meal. The food was fine, but not particularly inspiring. The service was extremely slow - it took around 2.5 hours to receive starters and a main course. I wouldn't return.
Only go if you want overpriced and underwhelming food.
Not my first visit and excellent as always.A very long lunch and enjoyed every aspect.Dont get confused by the frontage and end up in the wrong venue....
Simple lovely ingedients well-prepared.
A very warm welcome from all staff on a Sunday lunchtime.
Splendid attentive service and excellent food.
We shall be back!
Excellent all round - will go back for sure - a little gem!
Trinity is consistent, the food delicious and reasonably priced as are the wines, the staff all friendly and efficient.
We had a pre theatre dinner on Saturday, the restaurant was fully booked and turning people away. My husband had the oysters to start and I had the scallops which were beautiful. I followed with the skate which was new to the menu and my husband had the beef both were excellent.
We had a wonderful meal for my boyfriends birthday! The food was amazing and the wine wasn’t great too. Service was fantastic. We were originally seated downstairs but the atmosphere wasnt as good, we were moved swiftly upstairs when we asked. Brilliant special evening
