Disfruten...
Such an amazing vibe and atmosphere! Service was impeccable and the array of flavours and food quality was incredible!
Service was terrible. Food was cold.
My boyfriend’s birthday
It was amazing as always, we love this place. It is such an unique experience, the service is excellent they make you feel at home right away and provide wonderful recommendations. They let us go up to the nest to make pictures of the resort and enjoy the breath taking view of the ocean and jungle during sun set.
INCREIBLE LUGAR VALE LA PENA CONOCERLO UNICO EN TULUM
Really cool restaurant experience. One of the best, if not the best in Tulum for a different and most likely never before experience. Service was great, ambience was fantastic, and setting perfect. The only reason for 4 stars, is that we made a reservation for 6, and had to pay extra upon arrival, with no notice of this requirement, to get to the top of the restaurant for the best views. With a reservation, we shouldn't have had to "pay extra" to see the whole space. Otherwise really good and would recommend it.
It is VERY expensive for what it offers. I asked for a Shabu Shabu and it was so sofisticated that it only had 2 pieces of meat and a few mushrooms...and it was NOT presented the way it normally is. Too loud to have a conversation. Generally an “IN” restaurant not worth it.
We absolutely loved the place!
The design is just beautiful, one of the most unusual, creative and athmosferic places we have visited. One needs to walk a hanging bridge to get in, and then has an option to sit inside or in one of the “nests” - balconies with the view to the jungles or the sea
The food was good, the service impecable and the restaurant manager, Marco, really walked an extra mile welcoming us and showing us the place
Highly recommend! They also have “sunset experience” at 5.30pm, to be booked in advance, to enjoy a drink with the views to jungles
Amazing place but very expensive. And is ridiculous to charge an exorbitant amount to eat at the balcony, even though the restaurant was far away from being full booked! Good food but a bit pretentious.
Amazing restaurant and setup, food was amazing. Had the bone broth ramen and spicy tuna rolls. The sushi was incredible and the ramen had great flavor. Perfect spot, a little pricey though wouldn’t recommend getting drinks.
We saw the Azulik hotel on Instagram and decided to make a dinner reservation for 2 around sunset. We were escorted to a beautiful outside table for 2 that was next to a small pool of water. However, the food and drink was way too overpriced for what it was. It was good, but I don’t really want to return because we could’ve gotten something just as good for less somewhere else. Also, to take photos around the hotel and on the bridge, we were informed we’d have to pay 560 pesos per person. This was a bummer because 1. We were told if we made reservations and ate/drank there, we’d be free to take pictures and 2. This price included just 1 drink and some time on the roof (which I don’t think is worth it). They certainly know that most people come here for Instagram. Other than this, the ambience was definitely romantic, and I don’t regret coming. I just think the prices or the way they handle photo-taking should be a little different.
Food was very overpriced, the A5 wagyu was almost tasteless and portions were tiny. I would recommend the truffle edamame and uni sashimi as well as the desserts ! The place itself had very uncomfortable chairs although it was beautiful.
Walking ps the
Thank you for your interest in visiting your restaurant. we expected prices to be high and absolutely not worried about it. Having smoked your poor-quality hookah for 10 minutes, we could not have imagined that it costs $ 140. Manhattan hookah is cheaper, not to mention the quality. on request to remove it from the account we were refused. we concluded that you do not need a satisfied customer. Thank you for reminding me about this unpleasant evening, and that you need to write about two more on a TripAdvisor.
Dined at Tseen-Ja with 11 girls for a bachelorette party. We were seated about 20 mins after arrival and had a great guest experience with an intimate table setting outdoors. I’d recommend arriving around sunset and visiting the rooftop setting for beautiful views of Tulum and the beaches!
the food was tasteless, we complained, the chef came to our table and said that the food in japan is in this way! I've eaten in many Japanese restaurants in different countries and never ate anything tasteless like their food.
The experience here is amazing and unlike anything I have ever experienced. The food was amazing as well. The staff however acted as if we were an inconvenience to them and were not friendly or helpful at all.
AMAZING!!! The experience, the people, the food. Everything was perfect. Very unique and it is worth the price. The drinks are to die for! The atmosphere was perfect. We sat in a high top table and I wish we were sat on a lower table because those chairs are meant for people who's butts are meant to be very small. Overall, It was amazing. I will be back and staying at Azulik!
Tseen-Ja exceeded our expectations! We went for my boyfriend's birthday and had an incredible experience. The service was impeccable and we highly suggest the 7 course meal which allows you to taste a little bit of everything! We can't wait to come back soon.
At the beginning we wanted to book at Kin Tho but it was full so we decided to go to Tseen-Ja.
What a good idea! It was really quiet and peaceful. We had a great meal and a great service thanks to John, our waiter.
I know there are bad reviews on that restaurant but honestly everything was beyond expectations when we went there.
The food was very good but half of the menu was not available.
The bad reviews are accurate and I should've listened! I sent about 4 emails requesting to be seated outside at the top a month in advance... I never got a response but still decided to go because it was a special occasion. When we arrive we I immediately asked the greater could we be seated at the top? He said it was close because of the rain.. there was no rain in sight and wasn't going to rain. He told me I could ask the hostess once we get to the restaurant... We walked into a completely empty restaurant btw! I asked the hosted she said that she would have to ask the manager and she did... he instantly shook his head No! I asked why? And they continued to talk. She eventually pulls out a book telling us it would cost $900+ USD for two people to dine upstairs. We sat downstairs and after thinking about it we decided to leave. It wasn't worth it for the service and treatment we received. The place is beautiful the service not so much! Hopefully they change their ways otherwise it won't be around much longer! I mean if no ones even in the place why not accommodated your customers
not even big into reviews but this place disappointed. From the start, the hostess was very unwelcoming. The entire staff actually made you feel like you didn’t belong there (aside from the waiters/waitresses). Feels like this place became and instagram haven all of a sudden and they feel the need to obnoxiously express the exclusivity of it, meanwhile it’s not even packed. To top it off, food was okay. Sushi rolls were tasty and elegantly presented but have had better experience at food carts a long the street and other restaurants such as Nu, Gitano, Nomade & BE Tulum.
They ran out of rice. A sushi restaurant....that charges over $10 dollars a piece...ran out of rice.....
Food we ordered took an extremely long time to come out, but they did bring out two complimentary plates in the meantime.
We waited about 2.5 hours for our final plate, for a 2 person dinner. The ambiance and drinks were great so we didn’t really mind waiting since we had no other plans but it was slightly annoying.
Don’t get the lobster, it’s what we waited for and it was overpriced and underwhelming.
Terrible service, rude staff that would not let us view the sunset.
The venue smelled terrible, like sewer. They also have to burn strong incense to keep the mosquitoes down. The smoke was overwhelming. While the service was good, the food was only mediocre. The fish was relatively fresh however, every sashimi was presented in the same exact way... pretty sad for the prices we paid. We had hoped to sit outdoors but it was unclear when making the reservation that this would require a minimum spend. In the end, I imagine we would have hit that since our bill for four was about $400 USD. We’ve had MUCH better sushi in the States for half this price.
Very good and they actually gave us two glass because of our anniversary! Very attention people! Loved it
Amazing food!!! Service as ordinary as anywhere in Tulum.
Absolutely terrible customer service from service staff. Booked for 8 and assumed it was a booking for one of the outdoor nest type seating. The staff all gave us various reasons why we couldn't sit in those seats even though they were all available.
Kitchen staff and head chef were all lovely and food was good.
