lovely local, working hard to keep punters happy and socially distanced and keep a welcoming ambience at the same time. I was delighted to hear they'd been busy all day but that meant there was limited choice when we pitched up for supper. Staff couldn't have been nicer. It was a wild and wet night, so we didn't sit outside (though the space out there is lovely - if you're contemplating on a dry/sunny day) but the Tulse Hill team provided a welcome shelter with tasty food and drink. Recommend a visit.

Sunday afternoon at 6 pm.
We were not made aware that there were no more roasts
I feel they probably should’ve informed us of this when we checked in.

Also we ordered fish and chips which was very nice however they then run out of ketchup which is unforgivable

From the moment we arrived the lady who greeted us was welcoming, warm and friendly. They were also very accommodating, changing seats for us and a little treat for our dog.
Food was delicious too!
Would visit again.

Lovely place that we’ve enjoyed going to for years but the portion sizes are getting ridiculously small while the prices continue to stay at a premium (which I was previously ok with paying). The lunch menu steak sandwich has gotten so small over the many times I have ordered it since summer that when it arrived on Tuesday I had to ask the staff where the other half was... it is now one ciabatta cut in half, to form a sandwich the size of the palm of your hand, for £12.50. I can’t see how that’s justifiable.

In terms of the other aspects, The staff are always wonderful, the atmosphere is good so would still recommend for a drink.

Great ambience, really safe measures, delicious food.
Went on a sunday when the pub quiz was on however and it was really loud! (especially when we weren't partaking!)

An amazing visit yet again. The staff are fantastic and they're well complimented by great food and great atmosphere. It had been a whilst since we were last in and I was nervous that perhaps the high standards of atmosphere, food and friendliness could have slipped. I had nothing to worry about and we had a fantastic sunday lunch and drinks!

Excellent as always. Very good COVID safety measures in place upon entry with more than required distance between tables. Lovely atmosphere and felt as close as possible to the "old" normal! Best pub in the area by far. Thanks as always :)

We sat outside, the beer garden is next to a mian road so can be loud. Spectacular service, could not fault. Unfortunately my friends vegan burger was cold inside. Sorted out promptly. Everything else food and drinks wise was divine as usual.

Had breakfast here the other day too! Slightly disappointed that the beautiful yoghurt and granola/toast board was not available.. mostly egg based options..

Not great unfortunately. Waited 20mins to order drinks, then waiter permanently disappeared. Another very friendly waiter eventually took over. Sunday roast wasn’t very nice. Very undercooked roast beef (still mooing), sticky toffee pudding burnt and bitter. Shame as last time we went the roasts were amazing.

I couldn’t change my booking on OpenTable but I rang up Tulse Hill and they had no trouble doing it over the phone. Managed to sit in the garden - staff were very courteous and managed to make everything seem normal whilst wearing visors! Drinks and nibbles were delivered the the table - thank you to staff for having to work hard in these strange times. Will go back most weekends when possible.

Always great food and service.
Was a shame that we were in the front pub section as I found it too loud. Think this was due to social distancing, so understandable.
Really appreciated them keeping our table for us as we were late and amazing that we could still order 3 course meal at 9.45 pm!

Normally the food at the Tulse Hill Hotel is fair to good and the service friendly, however on Friday we had an evening that left a very bad taste in our mouth. My friend and I both had the flat-iron chicken and it was one of the most appalling dishes I have ever been served in a restaurant. The chicken was barely cooked and the amount of salt used in its preparation as well as the sauce over it literally made us gag. We advised our waiter who didn't even apologize, simple that he would advise the kitchen. And that was that, no discount, no explanation, no manager coming over to the table. We paid our 100 pound bill (this place is not cheap) and left. Obviously this place thrives on either people who don't really care about food or don' bother to say anything when something is bad. It will take me weeks to eat chicken again....

Disappointing. Food was over a 35 minute wait and when came was incorrect.
No effort to apologise. Was told they were prepping the kitchen- we arrived at 10.15 and the kitchen opened at 8.00!
When I chose not to pay the service charge they were not the slightest bit interested why or sorry.

Unfortunately not up to usual standards. We were ignored several times despite seeing lots of staff. We even had to leave our plates on adjacent table when left uncleared. This is NOT the norm at THH, so we were really shocked. Hope they pull their socks up soon.
