Tupelo Honey is a great breakfast place. The food is so good, especially the eggs. I don't know what they do to them, but they're just extra! We went this morning for breakfast and ended up waiting a very long time for our food. I think we might have been there 45 minutes or more before we received the food. Some in our party were quite unhappy about that. The server said there was a catering order they decided to fill, which caused our, and maybe other, orders to take a very long time. I think the least the restaurant could have done is bring out an appetizer or biscuits or something for the very hungry patrons. Still really like the food, so will definitely be back.

I frequent this establishment and this was by far my worst experience. The smothered chicken and biscuits had a recooked taste to it.

Food was wonderful. Our waitress was busy with a number of tables. We ordered during Happy Hour but did not get Happy Hour prices and had to wait to get that adjusted. It was a birthday celebration and we were asked if we wanted the mud pie or banana pudding. We waited 15 minutes and still had not got the choice of mud pie. We finally asked and then told they were out of mud pie. They gave us a small serving of the pudding without charge.

Thanks for the feedback, Paula! We apologize for the wait during your birthday celebration and the confusion with your order. We understand how frustrating that can be and will work on improving our service. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Looking forward to serving you again!

I really like this place but the food consistency is very poor! The experience this time was the chicken was so salty it was not edible. The server was nice and handle the information efficiently I thought. She removed the issue ask could she have them make it OK by redoing the order and I was happy with that . The problem is 15 minutes later when the manger comes to my table I'm thinking she is just coming to apologize for the inconvenience I realize she is coming over to do what the server had already done and that is ask how can she make it right. So I'm thinking my food should be coming next few minutes to find out I have just been sitting here for nothing! So the manger took the order off the bill and I was appreciative for that but left disappointed again with the food and still hungry!!! I have tried several times because when their on the food is as good as the service but when they are off it's off! This will be the last time I try such a shame .

Walton, our serve a was truly so amazing that we came back and ask for him again two days later!!!! I was however extremely sad that they didn’t have ANY Benedict’s at all. I understand having omelets, but Benedict’s are just a brunch staple!!!

I’ve been to Tupelo honey many, many times and it just continuously declines in taste and value. The biscuits this time were half the size they used to be. I won’t come back. Sad because I could get reservations and it was super convenient.
