Absolutely brilliant restaurant food great and cocktails are fab
Beautiful food and friendly but professional staff
Dined here many times for lunch which is good value. Staff always pleasant and helpful.
Location makes it a good meeting place. Menu could be changed oftener.
Took a party of 7 - The dining room is lovely, service efficient and the food was the best I have had in a long time. Members of the party had a variety of main meals and all were spectacularly good from Steak to Lamb to fish. The Baked Alaska was an event not a desert! Universally recommended!
Great food and nice setting. Lovely place to wind down on a Sunday afternoon.
Never fails to disappoint, another great meal. Staff excellent as usual.
Great food, service and excellent view of Edinburgh from the requested window seat.
The Hotel does need to focus on the toilets, comments from a number of the femail guests was not complimentary.
Great food and wonderful professional yet informal service - impressive. Music was a little odd though !
Lovely dinner for 4 on Sunday evening.
Main dishes excellent, especially the lamb and rib eye - and the flaming Alaska!
Special mention for our Portugese waiter, who was attentive and helpful, without being intrusive.
Best fillet steak I have ever had, food is excellent, highly recommend.
Lovely steak well cooked and presented. Had unexpected offer of half price main with starter or sweet which we were happy to take advantage of.
Delicious food. Perfect for a family birthday celebration .
Delicious food and excellent service. Lovely views
Poor service. Made a reservation and asked to be seated at the window. Upon arrival. When ordering drinks and desserts, we were told to move as the window seat is only available for guests eating a main despite it not being busy. Left promptly after.
Great food, great service , beautiful restaurant , no complaints
Lovely food and helpful staff. The only thing that let it down was that the baby change was disgusting and dirty.
Brilliant meal, helpful staff. The flavour of my ribeye was outstanding.
Excellent food, service and lovely atmosphere. Staff were very helpful reserving a table at the bar after we had finished our food.
We waited too long for our order and the staff just seemed disinterested.
I have been quite a lot and the good was not as good as usual
Excellent service, superb delicious meals and central location in the city.
We had a family Christmas lunch here(23/12) . I was very impressed. We had superb, attentive service through out. We enjoyed the Christmas 3 course menu and thought it was delicious. Thank you to all at Twenty for a lovely festive lunch!
Great food........but while it was an attractive enough venue, it was far too noisy and not very intimate. And for that reason alone, we probably won't be back.
Lovely restaurant to have lunch or dinner. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Menu is good and food is of a high standard. All in all a good experience.
We were celebrating being together for 30 years and what a fabulous place to stay and Dine, the food was totally delicious, service was excellent and the staff very attentive. Would highly recommend eating there
Menu more limited than expected, not very exciting. Quality of food good. Some parts of the service slow...
We visited Twenty Princes Street on Friday to celebrate my husbands 60th Birthday. The table was in a perfect place as we got the lovely view of Princes Street with all the festive lights. The menu choice suited all of us and the food was outstanding. Nothing was a problem to the staff they were very attentive. Would certainly recommend Twenty to family and friends. Thank you x
Great service - cold food and small portions - don’t mind small, portions but not cold food
Had the set Christmas lunch which was not up to the usual standard for the price charged. The service was good.
I use this restaurant often, always satisfied, staff excellent, food excellent ,wines reasonably priced.
Food was amazing, but disappointed by service. Have not had this issue before in previous visits but it was like the staff couldn't be bothered. Had to wave to get any attention, including sitting for ages for a drinks order to be taken. Shame, as steaks, drinks, atmosphere etc great.
This was our third visit to Twenty. The service on this occasion was not to the standard we would expect from this restaurant. It is a lovely restaurant with good decoration and ambience. The food was good. The restaurant was not full, but service was very slow. Waiter seemed very disinterested in his job, and was not very friendly. Doing bare minimum without even a smile. It is quite an expensive restaurant and the staff should reflect this, but on this occasion they did not
Great Service and great food
Service was slow. Food was just better than so so. Nice room though.
The location of the venue was the initial draw due to many of the party travelling via Train. Everyone in party was impressed by the restaurant in terms of décor and ambiance. All commented that the food was excellent.
There were service issues: Delay in whole party receiving their initial drinks and no further drinks order was taken. Delay in providing also requested additional such as bread for the table. We attributed to the venue being particularly busy.
Overall the group were very happy and agreed that we would recommend and return. Thanks
Yet again a lovely lunch and wine and good company very central great views and excellent service from all the staff
Had a very lovely evening. Food was amazing! And the service was incredible. Would definitely recommend - if you’re willing to spend the money.
Food was very nice but felt it was a bit over priced. Service wasn't great as the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. Not enough staff on. All 6 people in our party had to eat off the same menu. Either the festive 3 course menu or the Al A carte. We then all had to agree on which menu to eat off. Some wanted the festive menu and others didn't want to eat 3 courses so wanted to choice from the al a carte. But this wasn't allowed. The toilets were not very clean and the towels were left all over the basins.
ordered food mine was roast beef with potatoes and gravy in a small pan put gravy on food but was stone cold and rockshire was rock hard not good sent back but just heated up gravy and did not put food on a fresh plate refused meal sent back very upset as it was our anniversary did not even get a opology
We had booked a table for drinks in Juniper - the bar attached - ahead of dinner. They hadn't kept a table for us, but sat us directly into the restaurant. Food was amazing (the steaks were immense!) but the service was slo.
