A great find. Good food. Fab service and a great feel about the place.
Of the four of us, two had the classic Sunday Lunch - one just beef, one had everything available - the plates were absolutely covered with assorted vegetables, crowned by a football-sized yorkshire. The other two had a vegetarian wellington that was pronounced as very good, and was also surrounded with assorted vegetables, yorkshire, and veggie gravy.
Thoroughly enjoyable meal that left room only for coffee.
This is a great place to eat. The food was brilliant quality and value. Staff really friendly and I’d definitely go back when we are back in the area.
Fabulous. Everything about our lunch was great. People are really friendly, helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble.
We went for an evening meal on a a Friday evening. It was a mix of couples and small groups. The service was excellent with staff always attentive but not overbearing. This is not fine dinning but is very much better than standard pub grub. The food is made with care and love and the portions are very generous. The wine list is full and offers excellent value and there are some wonderful cocktails.
This is a place where you feel comfortable, the tables re spaced well and it just feels friendly. This is a family run pub and restaurant and it has a feel that is very hard to achieve.
Great place, great staff and great food!
As this way our first experience at the Greyhound we were very pleased with everything and were happy we chose to celebrate a family birthday and anniversary with you.
Lovely however ran out of roast chicken, but did still enjoy food
Absolutely fabulous!! The guys cannot do enough.....make you feel so welcome. Food is absolutely delicious too. All home cooked. Mum has just moved into the village and already feels at home ❤️
A Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere with the owners taking time to talk to customers it made you feel that your custom was really valued
The decor was very nice. The service was excellent. The food was excellent and it was a very enjoyable meal.
This was a return visit and they remembered our name. Food excellent. Will definitely return.
Great food and service - first class for gluten free!
Great service, lovely food. Would definitely recommend to friends.
The nut roast was full of taste, well worth going and they always make you feel welcome. Best veggie Sunday lunch I’ve had in years 🙂🙂
The food was absolutely amazing. However when my partner and I chose to share a three course meal as were not that hungry. The waitress serving us, seemed to judge us looking down, which ruined the fabulous experience.
Delicious food, great service and a nice quiet, chilled atmosphere until a couple of large groups arrived. Would always recommend this place to friends and family.
Excellent Sunday roast, one of the best I have had eating out.
Lovely atmosphere, great food & exceptional service
Amazing food, decorated lovely, calm and friendly environment, good value for money
From the moment we walked in the door we were very welcomed. We didn't have to wait to be seated at are table the service we was given was very good from start to finish and the food was outstanding. The management made us feel very welcome we will certainly be returning for food again
The food is so lovely here, I have had the roast dinners which are amazing
The owners are so friendly and welcoming
This is one of the reasons we keep going back plus he amazing food
Fantastic food, great service and good value too. Would definitely recommend.
A lovely family run pub restaurant. The food quality is very good and the quantity enormous. Make sure you are very hungry if you are considering having three courses. The tables are reasonably spaced and everyone can talk without raising your voice or feeling as if everyone is listening to your conversation.
I took my daughter to The Greyhound for a birthday lunch, lovely food and helpful, friendly service. Have already recommended to friends. Hope to go back very soon.
Friendly welcome and tasty food. The homemade steak and ale pie was a particular favourite.
This is my 3rd visit. Food is superb.
Best steak and kidney pie I've ever had when eating out! Food was very good but I prefer my vegetable "crisper" than the way they were cooked.
Service was attentive. Good selection of wine etc and drink prices were reasonable which is not always the case.
We had a amazing meal, service was second to none!! Thank you all so much x
Everything was amazing. I feel by looking around that your portions are generous and you had quite a bit of waste from most plates . That does not mean the food was bad, but sometimes too much good food cannot be eaten. Need to reduce portion size. I ate all mine but could not eat a desert, meaning you lost on a sale on a desert.
Lovely caring staff. Did not feel at all rushed. Food excellent, 3rd time of visitoring
good pub grub, would return, well worth a visit, one of the better ones in the area
A lovely welcome in the bar on arrival with a calm atmosphere. We were so looking forward to our meal and certainly not disappointed. We had soup and scotch egg to begin followed by the chicken pie with triple cooked chips and veg, Cromer crab with salad and new potatoes. Sticky toffee pudding to share! The service couldn’t be faulted either. Can’t wait to return, which will be very soon. Thank you.
Lovely pub, great food. Sad that they had run out of the scotch egg!
Outstanding, cannot fault at all.
Great food, great service, lovely setting and great value for money !! Thanks
Classy but understated too. Excellent, freshly prepared food. The grilled plaice was fresh and succulent. The pork chop was a generous size and perfectly cooked. Easy-going and attentive service - made for a pleasant and relaxing experience.
Staff very polite & friendly catered for all our needs
Small mixup where we booked online & when we got there they didn’t know about the booking luckily enough they could cater the 6 of us
First visit with a visitor from the States, they were more than happy as was I
Excellent all round, would definitely go again, thanks
