Nicely decorated restaurant with admirable and simple colours. However a confused menu will offer something different. We ordered crispy okra which was over fried, dry and was definitely missing a sauce. The aubergine which was bland, the pulled duck wasnt a dish as it was just hoison duck on top of low quality salad. For mains we had lamb curry which is not hard to get wrong however this lamb was not tender and the curry had no depth in flavour. The chicken biryani which was the only decent dish however the chicken tasted dated. The chicken tikka mac n cheese was the most embarassing as we were served large penne pasta with peppers and chilli chicken, and the waitress asked me what did I expect. (Erm macaroni pasta or a bechamel at least?) Lastly was the truffle cheese nan where the waitress said they had no cheese so the "chefs" can only make it a truffle nan which was ok however when we tasted it, it had no truffle taste and we sent it back to get what we ordered however the chefs closed the kitchen and said they cannot remake it so they just added more neutral oil to it.
The mains came after 1 hour with us being the only customers left. I would be embarrassed to serve food like this

Lovey food, but service let’s it down. Saturday night and just one waitress!! All tables filled - madness! Service was not prompt and mistakes were made!

Extensive and interesting menu ... we had 3 starters and 2 mains between us and all were excellent. Ungelie and Andy who are the owners are both very involved ... and are both charming! We will certainly be going again soon 😊

This was our second time visiting Una (in a year). Food is flavorful and creative. I’ve enjoyed the small plates more than the mains. Staff are friendly and attentive at first but as the restaurant gets busier you may need to flag them down for water or the bill. We weren’t in a hurry so no problem for us.

Hidden gem in Richmond...just off of the crowded high street. Amazing, mouth-watering Indian fusion food. We loved the tapas-style starters...the portion were just right and the taste was fantastic. Service was prompt and courteous. Highly recommended. Price a bit in the high.

Fantastic food, Asian fusion - really enjoyed. Service perfectly pleasant but not great. We got popadoms and drinks straight away but despite being the only diners at that time had to ask to order after half an hour! Decor all hard so when a large party arrived the noise level went up to 11. We didn't mind, quite liking the energy it brought, but some diners might find it a bit overwhelming. Finally, beware! Outdoor seating is at two tables on the pavement on a busyish road, not a nice back yard outdoor space.

I have wanted to visit Una for over a year now, finally got to visit and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely beautiful! We even ended up ordering more dishes!

I absolutely love UNA, from the warm interior that transports you so far away from Richmond you feel like you’re on holiday. To the food which was rich in layers of flavour and definitely has you feeling as though you want to open up an extra compartment of your stomach so you can have another UNA plate or bowl. The service is impeccable and the staff are welcoming, very knowledgable and add that certain 360 warmth and je ne sais quoi that other places I feel often lack. I can’t wait to go back for the 3rd time in three weeks

First meal out post lockdown and we chose to go to una... just had to have the khao suey! All well managed enough to feel safe but normal 😀

I came for my birthday and we were not disappointed. So many varieties of different dishes and all the food we tried was very delicious. Also, all the staff ,were very nice and welcoming.

I must say that this is a hidden gem, the service was outstanding and the food was perfectly presented and my taste buds had a party that everyone was invited to.

Great service and the the restaurant was lovely inside. The food wasn't to the expectation we were told.. it wasn’t horrible and it was enjoyable and the presentation was nice , the dishes we tried we felt this. We had lovely cocktails and had a great evening.

Once again Una let me down. I was quite shocked when I was told of certain foods containing gluten when last time I was told they were gluten free??? This is pretty serious and any serious restaurant should know this and label its menu and train its staff accordingly.

The other thing that really baffled me was when we requested for the dessert menu- we were told the kitchen had been shut due to low staff numbers. Generally (and for obvious commercial reasons), the staff generally comes over to let the customers know that the kitchen would be closing soon in case they wanted to order something.

This is the second time I have had such a bad experience. So certainly not going back anytime soon.

Great local restaurant. We've been trying for ages to get a booking but have just found out that you can now place bookings via OpenTable which makes things much easier.

Worth the wait and we'll be back again. (We went on a Sunday for lunch and the restaurant was quiet but it was still an enjoyable experience and the food was amazing) Will try an evening one day soon but it's always hard to get a booking - a good sign!

Food was tasty, the vegan aubergine currie could have had the aubergine cooked a little longer, the aubergine was still hard.

I visited from the states and was looking for an unique Indian cuisine experience - this restaurant exceeded my expectations - tantalized truly! This may sound like an over exaggeration but each dish tastes like it was crafted carefully, embracing very different origins of Asian culture. Burrata with a South Indian flavor profile?! Thats something I would never think to associate in my own kitchen. We often stick to what we know is delicious, what we know pairs well together but UNA’s chef and staff take risks in the kitchen to alter your perception of what the art of cooking can create. Now-a-days I find it so difficult to find restaurants that STAND OUT but UNA is one example of a restaurant that challenges my perception. It’s i our and worth a visit...or 10 lol

Had a catch up casual dinner with friends - ideal spot for grazing delicious food in lovely surroundings and other guests friendly too .... Food beautifully presented and loved we could all share / taste the khao suey with individual little bowls. Great touch. Try the carrot halwa so yum!

The food was delicious. I probably would not return due to noise. Maybe acoustics are poor as I found it noisy and I do not like music playing as everyone has to raise their voices over it.

Lovely local restaurant with some fab dishes such as the grilled mushrooms, gyoza and Burmese Khao Suey. The service was fantastic and extremely attentive.

I would say for an 'Asian' restaurant the food was extremely bland - every dish could have done with more spice to give it more pep. The restaurant did lack atmosphere, perhaps more soft furnishings or pictures on the wall would have helped this? The restaurant was also unaware as to what an Open Table Dining Cheque was and refused to take it which was a shame.

Despite this, my family and I enjoyed a very relaxed dinner and were not pressured at all to order mains or desserts which nowadays, I find quite rare in the restaurant industry. Despite not ordering dessert (we overdid it on the staters) the restaurant were also able to make my mother's birthday special by putting a candle in some ice cream which was extremely thoughtful.
