Underhill Cafe &grill
With tall windows that open to the sidewalk on sunny days and warm nights, Underhill Brooklyn has the feel of a French bistro, but its food is decidedly Greek. It serves appetizers like grilled octopus, calamari, and saganaki (fried cheese); for entrées, the kitchen crafts seafood dishes and burgers made of beef and lamb. Meanwhile, the bar pours wine and beer sourced from Greece, California, and several regions in between.

Restaurant was closed on Sunday morning, could book on opentable but not eat there ...
Amazing food, service and value. Always consistent and that is key to creating and sustaining a great restaurant and experience for customers.
First time here, and we had an excellent experience.
Everything was fresh, flavorful and well enjoyed.
The service was impeccable.
We will return, and I highly recommend !!
I made a reservation for Underhill Cafe a week in advance BUT, the same day of my reservation, they texted me to tell me that they didn't have space for me, that they had left the OpenTable app "open" accidentally, and that I could walk in, but they couldn't promise anything. I wish they had told me this at any point during the entire week beforehand OR had made even a cursory attempt to accommodate my party of 4. Anything!
Meatballs are sublime
After reading excellent reviews on yelp, was very disappointed with overall experience. Food was meh, service was rushed. Would never go back
Absolutely loved it. Fantastic food, great friendly service. Family owned. Loved it.
You should eat at Underhill. Everything was delicious. Staff beyond friendly. Small neighborhood Greek place. Unassuming gem.
Excellent friendly service. Salads were well prepared. Nice cozy restaurant
They told us it was a peanut free kitchen earlier that day. After we were seated,
The plate of 4 dips (tzatziki, hummus, baba ganoush and spicy feta) disappeared in minutes along with the grilled Haloumi. I followed up with a Greek salad with chicken, both fresh and delicious, while my husband enjoyed a perfectly cooked lamb burger. The zucchini croquettes and spanakopita new also wonderful. A really good wine list and a homey and hip atmosphere added to our enjoyment! Will definitely return.
What a great find! What looks like just a bar from the outside actually has an amazing Greek/Mediterranean food menu! Was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. Will definitely be back!
Lovely, quaint, delicious neighborhood Greek restaurant. Highly recommended!
