Urban Brewing - Stack A Restaurant
excellent food, generous portions and really good value compared to some others in area
Absolutely delicious food and friendly service. Restaurant in a cavern below a bar. Bar itself very noisy with loud music but restaurant only has background music. I thoroughly enjoyed the seared foie gras.
Very nice food, drinks, friendly and attentive personnel, lovely atmosphere, good music. I recommend the "Duo Irish beef" to meat lovers.
The ambiance in combination with good service and excellent food makes it a real winner
Not for lunch.
Food was bland & overpriced for the portion sizes. Service was very cold and didn't add to the experience.
Have been there for the tapas and taps food in the bar in the evenings and the food was much nicer but you can hardly hear yourself speak with the loud music.
Restaurant was so much fun! The decor and atmosphere was unique and so much fun because of its uniqueness. The food was awesome as well. It seemed to be a bit understaffed, however that wouldn't stop me from going back again. The food and quantities was well worth it!
Good food. Bad service. Waiters don’t pay attention to costumers.
Food was good, a little bland but certainly not bad. Very good portion sizes. Great atmosphere and friendly service.
Was there for over 20 minutes and our waiter never took our drink order or brought us water. Restaurant was not busy. I expect more from a place with these kind of prices. We ended up leaving.
The atmosphere was really good, but the music was waaaay too loud compared to the stylish and relaxing environment. But once the food hits the table, the music becomes irrelevant. Never before have I tasted anything so delicious at this price point. I cannot recommend this place enough! If you are in the neighbourhood, do yourself a favor, and visit. It will blow your mind.
My husband and I shared the grilled artichokes (starters) and the lamb for 2. They both were outstanding!
Excellent food and service was also great, will definitely be coming back!
This place is top notch!
Excellent dinner accompanied by excellent beers in a very unusual and suggestive environment.
Nice place , good food , service bit slow , 20 minutes waiting on a tray of tasting beers , overall very good and I’ll be back
A genuinely fun time. The vaulted spaces were small enough for quiet conversation. The food is excellent. The lamb duo and beef duo were delightful pairings of braised and grilled meats. The server, Dylan, was attentive and professional, but also enjoyed some banter with us. This was an excellent restaurant for our first evening in Dublin.
I ordered the beef cheek ravioli special for €16 for lunch. I received 5 ravioli which is absolutely insane for the price. It was more like a starter.
Visiting from another country...means relying heavily on websites and reviews. The location description address had us in circles. Maybe give a reference point on the site (ex: next to the name of a big building or located in a plaza). The website does indicate two different places for the site, but we didn’t understand that until we got there. We had reservations for the basement, but they were for outside location. The staff didn’t bend on helping us get a table even with reservations. They were more considered with serving the locals upstairs. The food on the menu was okay, but overall this place seemed overrated. Ended up going to a place we thoroughly enjoyed.
Very loud at times, difficult to hear.
Took a long time for the food to arrive.
As non drinkers, very poor selection of deserts.
Food was top notch, toffee dessert 👌 We got 2 courses early bird deal for €27, drinks were expensive!
The menu was limited and didn't represent value for money. There was no flexibility to ask for the ala cart menu. The early bird was very limited particularly the starters. Although the beef that I had was good it was fairly sparse in volume.
Lovely setting, food was excellent, flavours were great, nice beer on tap, would really recommend this place.....
We ate in the Stack A restaurant a floor below the busy bar area. Food was good, atmosphere nice, lots of options for tables- open or in a personal spot. Seemed a bit rushed, but we experienced that in most restaurants in Dublin.
Brilliant food well presented staff couldn’t have been any more helpful great attention to detail and lovely to sit out on a nice sunny day with shade provided also. Couldn’t recommend enough
Downstairs was amazing
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Food was exceptional!! So good. And the staff were brilliant. So efficient and friendly too. Very professional. Brought out a candle in a desert for my friend for her birthday- such a nice touch. Def feels like a treat. It is prob more on the expensive side but most places like that are in Dublin. And if I was to be fussy I’d say while their early bird menu was delicious and good value I would like to see a little more choice. But def would recommend this place. Especially before a concert in the 3 arena. Very handy.
Food average only. Service was very good. Reasonable place for a pre show bite.
My boyfriend and I absolutely love Urban Brewing for their drinks and atmosphere, and trying the food at the restaurant has increased our love even more. The staff were very friendly! The cauliflower complimentary dish was delicious. The starter of the pork and scallops was great, very rich in flavor! For mains we had the halibut which was nice but could’ve been a bit warmer and the steak which was mouthwatering! We also enjoyed delicious cocktails and a relaxed evening all together! Will definitely be coming back for more and will be telling all of our friends to give it a try also!
My scallops were burned. I had to send them back. However the staff are excellent and the rest of the food was ok, it’s a nice space.
Good food and service nice surroundings BUT....I ordered the "pork and scallop" starter. Two tiny pieces of pork and ONE SMALL scallop. And for EUR 13. This is very poor value and takes my overall score down by a point to a 3 only. Management be ashamed of yourselves.

Great service and range of craft beers. Food is good too! Nice ambience with loads of space.
The ambiance is lovely! Dinner is fine! The beers were very expencive. The service was a bit to quick, when you just emptied your plate it was gone, this made us want to hurry. But overall a great experiance! Would recommand this to other people.
The overall experience was very good, however I thought either the price could be improved or the substance of the food provided could be increased. (ie bread with starters or sides with the mains)
Very cool venue with awesome menu options. Service was great as well.
Far exceeded my expectations. Asked for a quite table on the booking as lunch was a business meeting. Thank you for helping the meeting go great 😄
Ambience: we had a 6pm booking ....five hours later we were still there, fantastic comfortable setting
Food: Second time here and the food was sensational. Hake was melt in the mouth, textures, flavours, presentation all fantastic
Service: To quote one of the members of our party “the waiter is so lovely I kind of want to ask him to sit down and have the chats with us”. Extremely welcoming, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of food and drink.
Unbedingt zu empfehlen. Sehr romantisches Ambiente. Sehr leckeres Essen. Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Riesen Bierauswahl. Eigenes Bier, Stout sehr sehr gut.
Had the st Patrick’s day tasters menu and it was spectacular. Also had it with the beer pairing, wasn’t a fan of one of the beers and they swapped the beer out at no additional charge. I can’t recommend the meal enough the chefs there know what they are doing.
Food was tast, overpriced and mean. Scallops for €13 was actually a single scallop. When they brought the starters we were looking for the rest of the dish to arrive! €27 lamb doesn’t include potatoes or vegetables. The food was well cooked, and tasty but too little of it, far too expensive and too many hidden extras. Dinner for four was over €300 but we were still charged €3.50 for bread. The staff were efficient and officious - no smiling, no personality or banter. Every question was answered with a poker face and we felt rushed to order. To be fair, we shared our feedback about the price and portions at the time and were offered a round of drinks which was appreciated. We won’t be back. If they keep taking advantage of their customers no one else will either! It was pretty quiet even though it was Saturday on a bank holiday.
Nice menu - something for everyone. Friendly service, nice vibe and prices reasonable
