Vasco & Piero's Pavilion Restaurant
Vasco was born in Umbria and as a result of this many foods are sourced direct from farmers in this region. Particular favourites are truffles, wild mushrooms, seasoned cheeses and cured meats such as lombetto and capocollo.
We only use the best quality extra virgin olive oil mainly from Umbria, Central Italy.
Many of our hams & salames such as Lombetto (a cured loin of pork) are imported from local Umbrian farms.
When in season, we import black & white truffles from hunters around the hills of Umbria.
Our balsamic vinegar is from Modena. We use Maldon sea salt with pure flaky crystals.
For parties over 12 people,we offer a 3 course menu for £25 plus optional 12.5% gratuity for parties in the private room.View Private Dining Details
We loved the warm welcome, the attentive service and being offered special treats along with our regular order! The food was delicious and we had a great evening
Outstanding as ever. The food is so fresh and tasty, and beautifully cooked. Service is very friendly and professional. We were so well looked after. Recommend to anyone and everyone.
Can’t remember the last time I’ve been to a restaurant with cover charge policy. £2 per person, what for actually? Add the 12.5% service charge, that was well over £25 in additional charges for 3 of us. Food is good & fresh, but nothing mind blowing. Overall, don’t regret going there but wouldn’t return.
Excellent as always!
Delicious food, well served in a quiet dining atmosphere, by good people. Many diners were long-standing customers. Plenty of fish and vegetables on the menu, along with more robust meat dishes. Excellent, we will be back.
My wife and I always have a wonderful meal at V&P and the staff are very attentive.
Imaginative regional Italian cooking - beautiful presentation, warm and friendly service
Terrific, as ever. My guest, who hadn't been there before, was extremely impressed. Though the restaurant was full, there was no problem having a private conversation.
Wonderful food and very friendly staff. Not the cheapest place you can eat but then you don’t get quality without paying a little for it.
Ever reliable restaurant, extremely good Italian food; attentive, friendly service and a relaxed ambience that allows you to converse with your dining companions without raising your voice ( other restaurants please take note.. ).
Had s really nice time at the restaurant, staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was really great
This is my favourite Italian restaurant in London. Food is simple and good and they are supernice. Recommend!
Fourth visit was just as good as the three previous. Excellent food and service. Busy but a comfortable noise level for conversation.
Really good Italian place. Encouragingly small menu with a good selection for omnivores and herbivores alike. Friendly and welcoming staff. Reasonable value for the West End
I have not eaten here for a couple of years but was pleased the waiter still recognised me. Very nice food, nothing fancy but good Italian food. Menu varies often but there are a few favourites to be had. Decent wine list. They do not try to rush you to get the table freed for the next customer.
We booked the restaurant further to reading online reviews and are happy to say that we were not disappointed. The fact that the party was a table of 12 arriving at 5.30pm was not a problem to the very pleasant restaurant staff; they were most attentive and helpful espcially with the wine recommendations and no request was too much trouble even though the restaurant was full. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed their meal (we had gluten free guests in the party); personally the salmon starter and swordfish linguine are highly recommended, the linguine was cooked just like it is in Italy, which I have struggled to find in any other Italian restaurant in the UK . Our only disappiontment was that we ran out of time as we had to be at Ronnie Scotts for 7.30pm and couldn't try the delicous looking desserts.
The food was not outstanding and over priced for what it was. The overall result was disappointing. The only attribute was the staff who were attentive and the place was quiet for having discussions at the table.
The meal was average but still expensive. The restaurant added a cover charge as well as a 12.5% suggested service charge. A billing error resulted in an error of £20 plus the service charge and n offer to reduce the bill was offered. I thought that was dreadful. It leaves one to think this might be accepted practice?
Wonderful - as always. Some of the nicest, authentic Italian food in London
Great food and great service. I have always had a good experience here and will come back again soon hopefully.
Excellent lunch place right in the middle of tunings. Very accommodating staff.
Excellent. The owners care, and it shows. Would go again.
Have visited this restaurant on a few occasions and have always enjoyed it. We visited again in early January around 8pm in the evening, so expected it to be very quiet. It was quiet - so no surprises there, but once again food and service were excellent. Wine selections are good and the menu choices are excellent. Having been before when it was busy I can say this place is excellent whatever the circumstances.
As always we enjoyed a very nice meal. The Burrata is fantastic and the tagliatelle with ragu so good. We will come back next time in London
Wonderful authentic food and a real hidden gem. Would recommend and return
Excellent food and service- always a delight to dine here
Lovely authentic Italian food. Pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. Will definitely be re-booking.
We were very disappointed having found this restaurant for New Year's eve; the starter was nice but the main courses and puddings were poor. The helpings were very small, my husband had ordered pasta stuffed with mushroom, he had 6 fairly small flat pieces of pasta and this cost £23.00; after a 3 courses meal he actually came out hungry, we thought his must have been the half portion but we were charged for a full portion.
The staff were friendly but we had to ask 4 times to get our bill and at that stage it wasn't too busy although some of the tables obviously knew the owners. My sea bass was a little better and tasted nice.
Amazing food, wonderful hosts!!! An Umbrian gem in London.
Warm welcome by staff. Bit noisy as there are room for many guests.
Great food! Their Tiramisu was fantastic.
Good prices, a lot of value for the money.
The food was excellent, the staff were friendly, the service was good, the ambience excellent, what's not to like?
Excellent home cooked food and lovely staff. Would definitely use again.
A small and intimate place with good food (lovely calves liver). Would recommend
This Italian restaurant was fabulous in every detail. The service formal but friendly and not pretentious, the food five star, the atmosphere quiet and upscale. It’s a real treasure!
Great food, nice and quiet location. Service was a little slow though at times - initially had to ask someone to come over after being seemingly ignored. Staff could have been a little more friendlier and personable too. Slightly different but very good tiramisu!! Really enjoyable evening though. Good wine.
My favourite restaurant. Warm, welcoming; food fresh and wonderfully judged. Staff helpful and informative. Just perfect!
Great food, great wine, lovely service. Couldn't fault a thing.
Had a wonderful date night with my wife. Food was delicious, great choice of wines and service was very good without being intrusive. Easy to talk and be heard. Highly recommend!
We always have a fine meal and a great dining experience. We come to London a couple times a year for theatre and museum exhibits. V&P is one of our go to places. Excellent value for a high quality food experience.
A great find in busy Soho . Very friendly and helpful staff and great food . Will definitely return .
