Vasco & Piero's Pavilion Restaurant
Vasco was born in Umbria and as a result of this many foods are sourced direct from farmers in this region. Particular favourites are truffles, wild mushrooms, seasoned cheeses and cured meats such as lombetto and capocollo.
We only use the best quality extra virgin olive oil mainly from Umbria, Central Italy.
Many of our hams & salames such as Lombetto (a cured loin of pork) are imported from local Umbrian farms.
When in season, we import black & white truffles from hunters around the hills of Umbria.
Our balsamic vinegar is from Modena. We use Maldon sea salt with pure flaky crystals.
For parties over 12 people,we offer a 3 course menu for £25 plus optional 12.5% gratuity for parties in the private room.View Private Dining Details
Really good, generously portioned (in-house made!) pasta, old school feel. Anti-trendy, delicious, and worth a visit. This is a place you won't wonder, "Am I cool enough to be here?" - and that's a good thing.
Food good, staff excellent, but wine prices extortionate!
Great restaurant with amazing food and service! They change the menu daily so you’ll never be tired
Perfect for a quieter evening without music and big noise distractions. So catching up with friends for good food and wine was excellent.
Great little authentic Italian , we will visit again
A treasure in Soho. The staff are friendly helpful and welcoming and the food delicious in a very elegant but busy setting. Highly recommend
The staff were very helpful and patient given one of our company was over an hour late thereby delaying our lunch but extending our time to enjoy several glasses of delicious wine.
Great traditional Italian restaurant. Food is delicious, ambience good at comfortable round tables
Lovely discovered new little gem. Had a nice dinner with friends. Staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. Small place so not noisy as other Soho places. Do recommend.
A real gem of a restaurant. Lovely food, service and ambience. Would definitely recommend and is very popular judging by the queues at the door. Overall good value the only negative I can find is that I thought the main courses were a little pricey - but I'm nit picking as it was really nice, excellent food and wine.
A lovely authentic Italian serving fabulous food. Staff very friendly, service was very good!
Our waitress overheard me saying I’d have ordered the tortilini but not sure on the black truffle oil. When our meal arrived she brought the pasta dish out for me to try! Fabulous as was the tortilini and I will definitely be returning!
Great service, nice menu but didn't feel it was value for money £8.50 for a beer!
excellent italian food with great taste. Would definitely go back again!
Somewhat fully priced but a very pleasant restaurant and enjoyable meal
Perfection as always - a great team from front to back of house.
Authentic in every way. Family owned, they care and it shows. Have been a few times and will be back. Just terrific.
I introduced 3 new customers to Vasco's on Friday night and they were all enthusiastically delighted. Menu flexibility was excellent, the food was great and we had a wonderful dining experience
Little gem of an Italian restaurant on the western side of Soho. Authentic Italian dishes, friendly and efficient staff. Great place for a business lunch. Simple, fresh decor with starched white table clothes.
The mushroom tortellini with truffle butter was exquisite. Highly recommend for lunch a deux.
Our meal was excellent, the food was beautifully cooked and arrived in good time. We were not rushed and had a very comfortable table.
Overall, a lovely experience. Maybe more than I’m used to paying for a meal but then I don’t eat out that often. Loved the charming people who worked and ran the place. Nobody minded that we stayed for up to four hours! Very good standard of food.
My second visit and the food did not disappoint! Wonderful home made pasta, burata to die for. The Tuscan sausages taste amazing.
Great atmosphere , lovely authentic Italian cuisine and most of all great service ... will definitely return
We loved the warm welcome, the attentive service and being offered special treats along with our regular order! The food was delicious and we had a great evening
Outstanding as ever. The food is so fresh and tasty, and beautifully cooked. Service is very friendly and professional. We were so well looked after. Recommend to anyone and everyone.
Can’t remember the last time I’ve been to a restaurant with cover charge policy. £2 per person, what for actually? Add the 12.5% service charge, that was well over £25 in additional charges for 3 of us. Food is good & fresh, but nothing mind blowing. Overall, don’t regret going there but wouldn’t return.
Excellent as always!
Delicious food, well served in a quiet dining atmosphere, by good people. Many diners were long-standing customers. Plenty of fish and vegetables on the menu, along with more robust meat dishes. Excellent, we will be back.
My wife and I always have a wonderful meal at V&P and the staff are very attentive.
Imaginative regional Italian cooking - beautiful presentation, warm and friendly service
Terrific, as ever. My guest, who hadn't been there before, was extremely impressed. Though the restaurant was full, there was no problem having a private conversation.
Wonderful food and very friendly staff. Not the cheapest place you can eat but then you don’t get quality without paying a little for it.
Ever reliable restaurant, extremely good Italian food; attentive, friendly service and a relaxed ambience that allows you to converse with your dining companions without raising your voice ( other restaurants please take note.. ).
Had s really nice time at the restaurant, staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was really great
This is my favourite Italian restaurant in London. Food is simple and good and they are supernice. Recommend!
Fourth visit was just as good as the three previous. Excellent food and service. Busy but a comfortable noise level for conversation.
Really good Italian place. Encouragingly small menu with a good selection for omnivores and herbivores alike. Friendly and welcoming staff. Reasonable value for the West End
I have not eaten here for a couple of years but was pleased the waiter still recognised me. Very nice food, nothing fancy but good Italian food. Menu varies often but there are a few favourites to be had. Decent wine list. They do not try to rush you to get the table freed for the next customer.
We booked the restaurant further to reading online reviews and are happy to say that we were not disappointed. The fact that the party was a table of 12 arriving at 5.30pm was not a problem to the very pleasant restaurant staff; they were most attentive and helpful espcially with the wine recommendations and no request was too much trouble even though the restaurant was full. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed their meal (we had gluten free guests in the party); personally the salmon starter and swordfish linguine are highly recommended, the linguine was cooked just like it is in Italy, which I have struggled to find in any other Italian restaurant in the UK . Our only disappiontment was that we ran out of time as we had to be at Ronnie Scotts for 7.30pm and couldn't try the delicous looking desserts.
The food was not outstanding and over priced for what it was. The overall result was disappointing. The only attribute was the staff who were attentive and the place was quiet for having discussions at the table.
The meal was average but still expensive. The restaurant added a cover charge as well as a 12.5% suggested service charge. A billing error resulted in an error of £20 plus the service charge and n offer to reduce the bill was offered. I thought that was dreadful. It leaves one to think this might be accepted practice?
