The food is excellent, but a limited menu. Expensive for Hot Springs. Service was outstanding.
Fantastic dining experience but definitely recommend this place!
We had the duck and ceasar salads and they were not very good.
Duck was bland and rubbery.
Must have a new cook because the food was not as good as in the past.
Absolutely must when visiting hot springs! Great atmosphere, high quality food, and amazing service!! You can definitely see they take pride in their appearance and care about their customers!!
We brought our longtime friends to dinner for their Anniversary. The vibe is great. It has a modern feel and is clean and contemporary.
We started with drinks. We had a great bottle of wine and a Smoked Old Fashioned. Great flavors to the Old Fashioned. Then we moved on to the Vault Roll. The tuna on the roll was really fresh and it was a really nice way to start the meal. I had the striped bass special. Two in the party had the wagyu steak with roasted acorn squash and mashed potatoes. The fourth in the group had the venison. We each tasted all the dishes and there was not a single meal I would have been disappointed in getting. The venison was perfect and I’m not usually a big fan of wild game. My husband said his was the best steak he’s had in years. The acorn squash was perfectly cooked. The stripe bass was a delicious creamy local mushroom sauce that was so fresh and light. It was an inspired pairing to the bass. We had the local honey and brûléed pears for desert. Wonderful finish to a great meal. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a special meal.
Overpriced, under served, not worth 300 dollar price tag for a meal.
Loved our dinner and experience at vault. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Hot Springs.
We ate here for our tenth anniversary dinner. We started with the sushi roll and bread. We both ended up trying the Chef's Tasting dinner - it was fabulous! Perfect amount of food and flavors. We would definitely eat here again. Prices were a little steep for certain items - I though the sushi roll was expensive at 28 dollars, but the Chef's Tasting was worth every penny.
It took forever to get our food. I had to ask the waitress twice....we had soup and the duck breast. No appetizers or salads. And we waited 40 minutes after ordering. Then the food came out cold. I have been to Vault in 2019, and had a much better experience.
Outstanding personal service ! Everything from appetizers to dessert was simply amazing. The chef is extremely talented. We will be back soon!
Celebrating my husband’s birthday. We sat in the kitchen area, which we like, to be able to watch. Kitchen staff not masked, nor was general manager, but hostess, wait staff and bartender were. Social distance throughout and they did take our temperature at the door, which I appreciate.
Ordered drinks and oysters on the half shell, then dinner order. I was enjoying watching and listening to the kitchen and wondering about our oysters. I think they realized we hadn’t gotten yet and our entrees were now ready. I asked to delete oysters so entrees wouldn’t be sitting under warmer, but they brought oysters anyway. They were great, Atlantic coast and good size. Very flavorful, so glad we got them. And, they bring out these luscious dinner rolls.
Entrees come out and I had ordered scallops, my husband the crawfish macaroni and cheese. My scallops, risotto and side veggie of roasted acorn squash were wonderful. Scallops cooked perfectly, risotto of sweet corn and crab. Unfortunately, the crawfish mac & cheese not so good. Pasta was over cooked, minimal sauce that needed seasoning, very few crawfish and small portion. My husband had commented to me after he ordered that he’d never had $30 mac & cheese.
However, they did bring out 3 oysters Rockefeller, comped. And, dessert was comped as a birthday bonus.
It’s a beautiful restaurant with attention to most details. Definitely will go back and appreciate that Hot Springs has a place of this caliber. The
We had visited before and we’re looking forward to dinner. The menu was a little different and everything seemed more expensive. The drinks were perfection especially the blue notes Smokey Olde Fashioned! I tried the Chef’s menu, and although there were interesting flavors, I left thinking I had the smallest portions I had ever been served in a restaurant. The rolls were remarkable the first time we visited, and they were also changed on this visit. We were disappointed. The ambience and service was still excellent.
The service was great and the wine selection....food was OK,
Overall I thought it was good. I don't necessarily think it was worth the price though. There weren't just a ton of options food wise. My husband got a $45 steak and said it was just okay. The rolls however were amazing!
Overpriced for the quality
Great service and fun atmosphere
Food is far less than expected
Unfortunately the response to the food feedback was met with no offer to exchange or remove from bill.
Came to celebrate our 17th Anniversary and we were pleased with the overall experience. The atmosphere was great and the service impeccable. The only thing that fell a little short was the food - which was still good. My steak was well cooked but wasn’t nearly as good as I’d expect for the price you pay here. And my wife’s burger was a little over cooked and dry - but still tasty. The sides were great and the cheesecake was to die for. It’s a great place for a date or special occasion and we would definitely return.
I loved this restaurant. The space was really unique and the food was great!
My only issue was they were pumping in fragrance or using scented candles...usually a no no when serving food.
They gave us complementary drinks since we were celebrating our elopement.
What we love when we travel is immersing in the locality. Getting to know the people. The behind the scenes workers. Not just the facades that the corporate culture uses to separate us from our money.
So we love when we find something like Vault.
We had no idea what to expect. And chose to do the chef’s tasting menu. It was exactly what we love. We were served Top of the line cuisine using local ingredients. And the focus on telling us about the area with the food and presentations made this one of the best dining experiences ever.
We will always recall the meal with great fondness. And if we ever get back to Hot Springs we will go here again. And perhaps trap that magic again.
ambience was great. Excellent service and attention to details great. Food was great except the steaks are Japanese and in my opinion Nebraska beef tastes better and is more tender. Their steak is very expensive and not that great. everything else was fantastic.
The entire evening could not have been better. Our server Michael was attentive and Informative, without hovering. We ordered Venison, Scallops, French onion soup and the tomato/mozzarella/balsamic caviar. Everything was perfectly cooked and plated to perfection. Great evening!
Vault is more than just a fine dining establishment...it's a full on experience. The atmosphere was beautiful with great uses of found period treasures. The waitstaff was engaging and attentive. The signature cocktails were clever and delicious. The management went out of the way to ensure we had a special evening. Oh yeah... the food!!! The food was unique and amazing. Perfectly cooked and presented. This was our first trip to Hot Springs and our experience at the Vault will ensure a return visit.
Went to this restaurant for my husband birthday and I can say it was wonderful. Great service and food!!! Recommend anyone to go here for a nice dinner. Pricing is was very reasonable. We’re going again soon!!!!! Love this place!!!!!
The food was amazing. Our server, Jennifer, and the management were not only knowledgeable about the food, but the overall history of the restaurant and business itself. It was our first visit, and we’ll be back.
We have been to The Vault on several occasions and it has always been excellent, however, this visit was very disappointing. They have a new chef and the menu has changed. They only offered 2 steaks, a 6 oz Wagu for 90.00 and a 12 oz Prime sirloin for 45.00. My sirloin was so tough that I was only able to work about halfway through it. Management was very accommodating offering 50% off the steak and a free dessert, but I would have rather had the same excellent 8 oz filet that I have had in the past which is no longer offered. If not for excellent management I would not go back, but hopefully this is a one time poor cut of meat, that I've never experienced at a restaurant in this price range. Service was great as usual.
The food was flavorful and memorable in a romantic ambience.
We selected the Chef's Selection @ $85 per person and it was well worth it. The new chef is incredibly attentive and brought each of the 4 courses out with a detailed description. Curates local product and masters the flavors of each ingredient with an amazing blend to produce flavor intensity. Will definitely go back. Mitchell, our server could not have been more pleasant and tracking our every need.
Overall outstanding. Would like to see more space between tables during current pandemic, a little uncomfortable with too close proximity to other diners.
The food was over priced and the service was slow. My companion ordered the mac and cheese with lobster It had just a few small pieces of lobster. We would have expected
more for a dish priced well over 30 dollars.
Absolutely the best meal I have ever had. The Cure cocktail was phenomenal. The bartender was excellent. She never had us wait for anything. Top notch service.
There are no booths which seemed a little odd. However, the atmosphere was very pleasant. The service was awesome. The whole experience was smooth without any hiccup. It was odd that they brought out only two rolls at a time. We had oysters for appetizer, scallops and NY strip. All of the food was exceptional. The price seemed steep but the quality was very high.
We were recommended by a friend. And were pleased beyond expectations! The Waygu was perfect, very good service and quiet romantic atmosphere that was perfect for our anniversary dinner!
Server (Mitchell) was absolutely fantastic and better than even the Totinos pizzas we usually feast on.
Awesome Awesome Awesome Awesome Awesome....I will definitely come back when I visit again!!!
Food and ambience is perfect for an adult night out! Everything was very calm and not noisy at all, the drinks and food were great. This is not a place to take your kids, but it is a GREAT place to take your spouse or significant other for a romantic evening out. (The Vault Roll and the lemon blueberry creme brûlée did NOT disappoint!)
This restaurant has amazing food and service. Great selections on food from seafood to steaks with unique pairings and flavors. The waitstaff is informative and attentive, offering to basically put together any of the entrees/sides cooked to our specifications. The atmosphere is quiet, elegant and conducive to a very relaxed dinner. We enjoyed our steaks, our wine, and the quality was unsurpassed. One of our very favorite of all times.
It was our honeymoon! Our server was amazing and so was our food. Definitely recommending to everyone I know.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Atmosphere was great. Sous Chef came out for a visit. All was top notch.
The entire experience was wonderful. The waiter was awesome and the food was outstanding.
We enjoyed the entire experience we had at Vault. Our waitress was great and made sure we always had everything we need. She even gave us seconds on the bread because we complimented how good they were! Food was amazing. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We will definitely recommend and come back!!
