Dr. Daron Praetzel, Owner
Great food and drinks served professionally.
We waited at the bar before being seated. The bar service was very good. Our waiter, however, left much to be desired. He would ask us things as he hurried past our table. He did not bring spoons for our desert and when we asked for spoons, he blew it off and never brought them. We would hope never to have him as our server again.
We love the vault, everytime we come to Hot Springs we try to make sure and eat dinner here. This time the manager showed us some of the history of the restaurant which was very cool. The food, the service, everything about this place is top notch.
This is perfect for that “special dinner or date”. Over the top service and great ambiance. No pressure to hurry up and eat. This is not Applebee’s so check the online menu and prices to help make your decision.Reservations are a must. Would definitely recommend.
Atmosphere is by far the best in Hot Springs. Service was excellent, very attentive. Food was fantastic!
Was recommended by a friend. Did not disappoint. Food, drink, service, all exceeded expectations
Great food and atmosphere! I had Paella and it’s one of the best i have tasted so-far. Baked alaska is a must try . Overall, great experience.
Worst experience ever at the vault we came for wagyu and had to settle for something other than wagyu and I think chilies steak is better
It was excellent!!! Appetizers were amazing! The shrimp and crawfish nachos were the bomb!!! Pasta was wonderful. And the drinks are so fun!!!!
The crab cake appetizer was spot on. Among 4 persons we had, scallops, lobster, steak and shrimp. All were perfectly prepared. We were happy the wine list was restocked and enjoyed the selections. The baked Alaska was the best I’ve ever tasted. The service was well above what I expected. The new manager is a pleasure. Vault is fast becoming another local favorite for us
They were out of Wagyu beef, but their filet did not disappoint. I would not recommend the grouper. Everything else was awesome! We will be back! Our server was the best part! He was very friendly and loved his job! There is a private vault room that was very cool. We will ask to get put there next time.
We were looking forward to the menu on the website but a Valentines 4 course option was the only available option. The menu offered two choices for each course with two pork options, a shrimp, and seabass option. We ordered one of each and the food came out room temperature and we left underwhelmed. We will be back for the full menu soon.
The food was a special menu. I had the shrimp ap and the fish for the main course. Mine was fine, however, my wife had the pork main course and hers was burnt. We made our reservations a month out from the date and were seated in the back in what was called chiefs row. We basically had a view of the kitchen and the back room. We watched dishwashers was dishes all night so a romantic V-day setting it was not. It was our first and last time visiting the Vault. Overall it was very disappointing.
We made reservations for Valentine's day not knowing that there was a limited menu (because it wasn't listed anywhere on the website) so when we showed up, there was a $75 per person fee and there were only 2 options for each course. If you don't eat meat, or seafood, you probably wouldn't have been able to eat here, and seeing how it was valentine's day, we just had to deal with it since it was unlikely we would've been able to eat anywhere else. On top of this, our server was pretty unpleasant and our food was lukewarm at best. Absolutely not worth the money.
My wife and I visited The Vault for the first time on Valentine’s Day. We can not express in words how phenomenal our dining experience was!! We were impressed from the moment we walked in until the final bite of our dessert. Scott and Brian have brought culinary excellence to Hot Springs! We are looking forward to our next visit.
Went for my birthday with friends. Really enjoyed ourselves and the wait staff was awesome. Definitely will be recommended to my friends
We celebrated our anniversary and this is absolutely the best restaurant. We were here in November and it was good but we think this time it was even better if that is possible. The service is superior, the atmosphere is wonderful, and it is pricey. But the quality of the food justifies any price. We come to this restaurant for our celebrations of birthdays & anniversaries. We will come back. The prawns are excellent & the steak is excellent!!! The baked Alaska is to die for!!
Great food and great atmosphere!
Had heard mixed reviews so went on an off Racing night. Service was terrible even though restaurant was not busy. Appetizer we ordered was canceled bc the waiter said it didn’t look good. 2 of 3 entrees were cold after the long wait for our food. We were there 2 and half hours. Ordered a second bottle of wine but it never came. Ambiance is great but service and food extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.
This was our second time to dine at The Vault. We loved it both times. The atmosphere and service are stellar! The presentation of the food and cocktails is extra special. My husband and I split the ribeye and still needed a "to-go" box. Loved the shrimp cocktail appetizer. Comes smoking with dry ice! It's a great place for a special occasion. We will be back for sure!
This visit was fine as I took some business guests out for dinner. The main issue was several items on the menu that are popular were not available due to Vault having had a large event at the restaurant the day before. It was quite frustrating and was not mentioned well at the beginning of our evening. Better luck next time I hope.
Amazing as always! Such a great atmosphere. Always friendly staff. And the food.... TO DIE FOR!!
This used to be my favorite restaurant in Hot Springs, but last night I was shocked at the tiny amount of Lobster meat they put on my plate and expected me to pay 60.00 for it!!
Next time we’ll just go to Red Lobster and get more meat for less money!!🤣
Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Highly recommend!
The appetizer took 90 minutes to arrive. 2/4 meals were great, 1/4 meals was average and 1/4 was horrible. The waiter and manager were great and he did take off the bad meal but everything was pretty overpriced. The surf and turf roll was way too pricey and not even that great. The bread rolls were the best thing, basically crack rolls. The ribeye and salmon were phenom but the snapper was the worst fish I’ve ever had and the sides for the petit filet lacked flavor. Again they apologized so I hope it improves but it was pretty $$$ for those kind of mistakes
Awesome Food and Service!
They went out of their way to make sure our dining experience was the best!
A perfect evening! It all came together due to all parts performing beautifully. Our waiter Brad was wonderful, we met Scott, the manager and Chef Brian came out to meet us. The food was superb... innovative and well-prepared. We were celebrating a special event and for dessert, were presented with a scrumptious baked Alaska. Ambience was classy and relaxed, our hostess was lovely and quick to seat us. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.
first time visiting and we were only in town one night, chose Vault based on other review and menu. We have been to other nearby restaurants and wanted something different. We had etoufee poppers? And they were delicious! My husband had scallops and I had the Rick fish, both also impressive. Dessert was berry creme brûlée and it was also perfect. We were told a new menu is launching on Jan /20th, so we will return at some point to try it out. Ambiance is warm and cozy, they will not disappoint
Always consistent and a excellent experience.
Quiet night for the vault, while everything was excellent the usual Bustle was missed
Our server Brad went above and beyond, to make our night special! From explaining the plates, pairing a good wine, keeping drinks topped off, clean table, and even taking our picture for our anniversary celebration! The food was outstanding, the place is beautiful, and the service topped it off! Thank you!
Sat at the chefs table. Very enjoyable
The Vault is a quality restaurant in Hot Springs. It's a valuable addition to the area. This was my first time there and I would think that now that I am more familiar with the menu , my selections would be different. For those that like spicy foods there are a few menu items that you would be pleased with but for me, I was surprised by a spicy shrimp and tri-pasta dish . It was a little too hot for my taste buds. I did not ask the waiter about that dish but he did not offer that information either. He did say that duck and I believe the chicken offerings were on the Asian spicey side. For me, it's a good special occasion stop but a little expensive for regular visits. I am glad that Hot Springs has this restaurant for us locals to enjoy!
The food was extremely poor, not even close to what you would expect from a restaurant charging these prices. The red snapper was rubbery and flavorless. Dish portions were very small, which might be acceptable if they were high quality, but these definitely weren't. It was a total disappointment.
The rolls!!!! So good! Everything was amazing!
Second time here, amazing amazing amazing. Had the buttery ribeye cooked Pittsburgh black and blue rare and have never had anything better! The side of corn was extremely tasty and the smoky Gouda grits were out of this world!
We come from Jonesboro and have been to the Vault 3 or 4 times. The atmosphere is welcoming and interesting, the service is always on point and the food and drinks delicious! The backlit menus are legit! Lol
The absolutely best Prime Rib I have ever tasted. The service was extra-ordinary - efficient, attentive, helpful. The restaurant atmosphere was over-the-top.
It is must do when in Hot Springs! We will definitely be back!
Wonderful meal & ambience. Awesome!
