In the spring of 2013 something extraordinary happened. Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family.
By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers.
Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century.
Since then, we have been working hard to ensure that our quality and tradition could flow from the bottles to the glass in your hand.

Poor service. Waitresses didn’t really seem to care. The food was okay. When asked if we could order desert we were told the kitchen was closed . It was just after 9pm and this was after our plates having been taken about 20 minutes before.

Excellent staff, very efficient and attentive
The staff were really well prepared for the reopening. Our waiter could not have been more helpful. He even showed us how to claim our free drink on the app. The food, drink and music were perfect. Sadly because we knew cash wouldn’t be accepted we took none and there was no way for us to tip the waiter via the app or card machine! They will accept cash for tips so I’d be prepared next time as they really deserved it!
Excellent service, friendly staff, despite it being their first day open in quite a while you can tell they were fully prepared, staff knew what they needed to do to keep things safe and clean, love the use of an app to order things when you're ready. Food was very tasty too, will 100% be going back

Food wasn’t to a very good standard, we ordered walnut bruschetta and they had ran out of walnuts but didn’t tell us until I spotted it on the plate. Next time make sure to tell the customer before it comes out
I had a reservation but the restaurant was nearly empty. The food that one table had looked great but unfortunately after ordering drinks, we were unable to get any service. There were only three groups in the place. It also didnt smell of food at all and we would have thought they weren't serving any if not for the other table. This was meant to be a birthday dinner for my husband and we ultimately had to go somewhere else, which was disappointing.
