Victors have changed it is more like a tapas style restaurant where dishes arrive at different time. Just very unorganised some people in the party received their food 30 minutes after the rest of the party had finished.
Waitress was nice and very pleasant but the kitchen were unable to accommodate any slight change to a dish.
Wouldn’t go back or recommend.
We were very disappointed with our experience at Victors. It was filthy dirty, the menu had changed and it was far too loud for our dining experience. I won’t be in a hurry to return
Really enjoyable visit with the wife to celebrate her getting a new job. Food was great and setting was just what we wanted!
The burger was amazing! Service was great! Drink was poured everytime the glasses were low without having to ask
It was too load- the staff would not turn the music down
Could not talk
Sushi is amazing at this restaurant and excellent quality
Love the atmosphere, we travelled from Leeds for Mother’s Day it was clear that the restaurant could not cope with the high demand. Glasses were sent back twice as they were dirty, wine glass had a chip, diet cokes were flat and warm with too much ice, burgers were too pink inside, sea bass was minute for the 18 pounds price tag along with 4 new potatoes.
Mother’s Day Meal. Very helpful staff. Great atmosphere. Good food. Fun place and glam.
Amazing customer service and delicious food. Faultless!
We had brunch. Food was ok but would have liked to see more hot vegetarian options
Five of us enjoyed a great evening at Victors on a Saturday evening. We all ordered different main courses, the beef wellington is my favourite there. Other orders included fish and chips, lamb dish and miso fish. The only disappointment was the miso fish which was small with nothing else with it. This should be made clearer on the menu. The desserts were good too.
Service was exceptional, friendly, helpful from start to finish.
The atmosphere was vibrant and buzzing, we had a great evening.
Great restaurant, great atmosphere and great service.
After visiting recently for brick which was lovely and great service we returned for an evening meal and was extremely disappointed with the slow service and poor food served, calamari and lobster both chewy and over cooked. Very average food which doesn’t match up to the style of restaurant. Definitely style over substance...
Have been to Victors once before and really enjoyed so was looking forward to our latest visit but was left disappointed. Went early on a Wednesday during storm Emma with my partner, only one other couple in the restaurant when we arrived and we were seated immediately next to them, we asked to move and chose a table a bit further away so we went on top of each other. A group of three then came in who were promptly seated next to us, one of the was so close she was closer to me than my partner, they duly asked to be moved to one of the many empty tables.
No one asked us if we’d like a drink and we waited approx 10 to 15 minutes before anyone took any order, we ordered a bottle of wine, no time for pre meals drinks at this stage. The wine and glasses arrived, glasses were dirty with lipstick marks, they were taken away and it was over 5 minutes before clean glasses ad the wine reappeared.
Our starter of chicken lollipops and chicken wings was nice but nothing more than that.
We both ordered well done steak which was ok but had been left a touch too long and the broccoli was cold but the fries were delicious. We ordered the chocolate fondue to share as a desert and have never been so disappointed in a desert before, especially as it was £13. The bill had added service charge which I object to, surely that’s my right to decide if it’s applicable, and at £150 it was an expensive and memorable night, but for all the wrong reasons.
The decor and ambience of this restaurant is great but it needs to improve its food and service before I’d return.
Very good service from friendly staff. Will definitely return.
Was hesitant on thinking it was another restaraunt with lack of tasteful food made up for by pretty interior and table settings but it was actually really nice. Both the food and the ambience can’t be faulted
delicious sushi and beef wellington and the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever had.
Fabulous setting and inventive menu. Was visiting from the USA, and look forward to dining there again next time I'm in Manchester. A new U.K. favorite for me!
Our First time visit, now we are definitely making it a regular Sunday dinner venue when in the area.
The menu choice was very good, plenty of variation, food was excellent, staff attentive and the atmosphere was really nice, good mix of music.
Would definitely recommend to family and friends can't wait to visit again.
Had a nice table by the window _oysters for starters nice presentation.

For sweet Black forest Gateau & lemon Meringue pie. They were very nice maybe could be bigger portions.A very enjoyable sunday lunch,
A must visit. I was travelling from the Midlands on Saturday, stuck in football traffic where I came across Victors on google.
Booking via Open Table was really easy and when I got to the restaurant I didn’t wait around and was served immediately.
The ambiance was lovely and the staff were really friendly. The menu is suitable for different diets (vegan/ veg and halal)
The staff make you feel really special and so thank you for making it an experience
Amazing like always
A busy Friday night so a bit noisy but the food and service were excellent and four of us had a great evening!
Lunchtime meal. Arrived on time, ordered food from menu and wine. After 15 minutes we were told that we had been given the wrong menu and only one of the chosen 4 dishes was available. We then re ordered. The first course came approximately 20 minutes later. After another long wait I left the restaurant to extend the 2 hour period I had paid for at car park. After approx. 1hour 45 minutes our main course arrived! We finished the meal with 2 coffees. When I complained to the waiter, he deducted the coffees from the bill. I then complained to the manager who had been monitoring the situation. She then removed the cost of the wine from the bill. The managers actions were acceptable, as were her apologies. The quality of the food was good, but the whole experience poor, and embarrassing in front of my client.
I normally dine at Victors in the evening, and have not had any bad experiences.
An excellent overall dining experience with superb food
You would think the food in Hale would be decent but it definitely wasn't even close. Vile starter full of greasy batter and the roast dinner was disgusting. No taste whatsoever and seemed like it came straight from the microwave...ewww
Never again, what a waste of time driving half an hour to get there!
If you want a great roast dinner with value for money get to Grand Pacific in Manchester...maybe the staff at Victors should take a trip there and see what good food does actually taste like!
Lovely Sunday lunch at Victors. Great roast dinner with friendly service.
Excellent Sunday roast! Will definitely be returning! Great food and service! 😀
Absolutely loved my first time at this restaurant! Me and my boyfriend were celebrating 7 years together and the brunch was superb. The breakfast menu has a really good variety of food and drinks, healthy options to those indulgent dishes. Will definitely be returning to try the A La Carte. Thank you Victor’s!
The lighting needs looking at, far too dark where we was sat we had to use the torches on our phones to see what we were eating. Don't like it and I won't be back.
Would not recommend! Dessert was cold when meant to be heated, fillet steaks weresdry and overdone. EXTREMELY overpriced
The service was none existent despite a £20 service charge on a table of 4.
We had to chase up missing orders, send food back and it was generally a bad experience. Also a bad crowd at the bar area.
Other than how nice it looks, there is nothing good to say and we could not recommend it.
Great meal and good service
The service was extremely slow! We had to ask 3 different waiters just for some water! They expect us to leave within 2 hours so they need to speed up their service in order for us to do that! The food was nice that's the only reason they redeemed themselves and the setting.
very good restaurant but the service was long.
The food was really nice.
reading other reviews i find the similar disappointing on the sizes or portions. specially the black cod fish where toasted quinoa
Very good food and service was great too. Seating could have been a little better. We were given a table off to the rear side. in the way of staff who were using the tills. Rest of the restaurant looked a little cramp, but other than that is was really great and will definitely be coming back.
Sensational food. Perfect whilst the january 50% off is on, expensive without the offer.
Normally the menu is on the expensive side, although the food is first class, but on this occasion there was a January half price offer on which made it superb value.
Excellent food great wine service and great staff very nice people
Got on the tram from the city to altrincham for 40 mins and walked 20 mins and it was well worth it. Food is great, staff is friendly and decoration of the restaurant is beautiful. Official one of my favourite restaurants and I will be back again.
