Food and service good and we'd definitely return. I found their chairs with no backs were uncomfortable though.
I didn’t dine at this restaurant. On arrival they refused to offer the menu offered on the opentable website so we left and dined elsewhere
Hi Sir, We apologise for if you feel that way, but just to let you know, we didn't REFUSE to give the menu that you showed us, we just don't have that menu anymore. Don't worry, we'll make sure to get the menus updated online so there wont be anymore confusion in the future. Kind regards, Team VietEat
I have been there a few times. Its a little cramped, but great food, inexpensive etc
Just as good as the last time I went
Very uncomfortable - no chairs, only stools. Food not as described in the menu. For example, vermicelli bowl with lemon grass dressing was full of chilis and had a chilli dressing. There was no indication of chilis on the menu. We will never return!
Great place for a quick meal. Plenty of choice and fast service from very good staff.
Low key. Staff were friendly. Good for relaxed meal with a friend, but not for a special occasion.
Overall good food and great service, slightly overpriced.
We love this place! Regular visitors after spin during the week. Food and service always great.
Good food, nice ambiance. The staff who served us was very friendly.
My starter King Prawn in soft roll with peanut sauce was amazing. The main course was not as described on the menu and was recommended by the waiter but not great - crispy belly of pork wasn’t very crispy and quite fatty, more like belly ribs in a sauce. The sauce was tasty. One person having the Pho dish did have to wait a long time after everyone got their dishes. They added 12% service charge to the bill which was discretionary but felt like we had to pay it. Toilet was not very accesssible and not clean, right next to the kitchen - if I had visited these first I probably would not have eaten here, but having said that I did not experience anything bad from the food. Very attentive staff. I would probably try it again but choose something different from the menu.
We booked the London Food Festival menu but when we got there they didn't seem to know what it was. Eventually they found the menu but wouldn't take the desert order until later. The platter was nice but we didn't like the peanut sauce. My fried rice was tasty but dry. The good chicken curry had lots of sauce, fortunately. Sadly, when we ordered the coconut snow for pudding they refused to make it! And after finally agreeing to knock £7 off the bill for not serving us a sweet, they had the cheek to add 12.5% service charge, which I refused naturally. A service charge is always optional!
Excellent food! Well worth a visit, everything we had was delicious
There was no Rose wine and only 1 out of 3 desserts available. There was a horrendous family of 8 who seemed to spread themselves across 3 tables even though there was a table for 8 made available with a person asked to move. The kids were just out of control. Due to their demands other guests had their service delayed. The restaurant made no effort to control their behaviour.
Delicious authentic food
but very disorganised service and not the best atmosphere with the bright white lights
Was v busy but service slow on literally everything, 2 beers and a glass of wine took 15 mins after we waited lon enough to give our orders.
Food v good and staff friendly
Friendly staff and good food at a great price. Toilet was not very clean so that would be the only downside for me.
Nice basic cafe with good food. Service slightly hit and miss but it’s readable value for money.
I like going to eat Vietnamese food but in this restaurant the food did not taste at all, it was overcrowd in a very tine place, very uncomfortable and if you are disabled you cannot go to the toilets as they are downstairs ant the steps are very narrow and dangerous. The staffs were unhelpful. Very bad experience with this restaurant I will never recommended...
Really good food and great service. Will be going back.
Great authentic little place. Really cosy inside. The tofu Bun Bo Hue was delicious and the garlic beef pho, as well as the prawn summer rolls. However the salt and pepper squid could have done with more chili as it was very mild. I'd definitely come back.
I booked at 12 a Saturday but it was opened only 15min later!
Nice music and sound level. However, it stopped for a while :/
The food was really good, but the prices on the menu here are not what you pay in store. The restaurant was also very hot, but staff kept closing the door and stopping the only breeze.
Food was tasty and a good sized portion. I particularly enjoyed the duck which was very flavoursome. Prices are pretty reasonable for central London and there was a good ambience in the place. Would visit again.
Great food, fresh and healthy. Delicious chicken vermacelli dish
Went to Viet Eat in Holborn with a friend before the theatre. Food and service was great, the price is reasonable and the portion size is good. I have been here quite a few times and I am never disappointed. I will definitely go again.
I have been here a few times now and its consistently good and fresh, with some new dishes on the menu.
Its not fine silver service dining, but its not meant to be, and can be a little cramped getting into the corner, but the best part is the food is good, service is fine and not not expensive
All good, no issues
Food was fresh and the service OK.
I though the restaurant would have been plusher but it was my first time at a Vietnamese restaurant. Will definitely have Vietnamese again but maybe try somewhere more up market.
Great service and nice informal environment
Good selection of starters and soups.
Having walked past this restaurant numerous times, I was pleased to be able to suggest this as a dining place for my colleagues. It's cosy, staff are close by and on hand, the food was tasty, and I think we all enjoyed our own dishes but had food envy. Will definitely revisit and recommend, thank you.
The service was spot on. The staff were friendly, up beat and easy to talk to. We asked for some recommendations for food and the server was honest with his response.
The food we found to come in reasonably quick time and in large portions.
The drinks menu is limited.
Tad expensive depending on what you order.
Can highly recommend the Gresdingham duck!
Very tasty, hot and stylish food. Coffee is amazing, one not to miss. Quite close to authentic Vietnamese Food, felt like we were back there. Love the sliding doors and cosy sharing seating. Great find and still love their sister restaurant in soho.
Super Yummy food. Nice veggie option (though not tons of choice)
All looked very fresh.
Great Vietnamese coffee.
Waitress flagged what I was ordering wasn't veggie as had fish sauce, even though I didn't tell her I was veggie.
Great fresh and relatively quick food served on shared benches.
Lovely little restaurant. Great service, delicious food and good value for money. It had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely visit again.
Lovely food and great little place on Holborn for a quick dinner.
Small and basic location for casual dining. Good selection of food, which came quickly and nicely presented. Food tasted good and was enjoyed by both my guest and myself.
Fast & perfect for pre-theatre or casual friends get-together. Chicken/prawn pho was delicious & portions are big enough to fill you up! Would return.
Salt+pepper squid was so good we ordered another one. Quick friendly service, delicious food, great value for money.
Overall, all was good but the man who seated us was very off hand and unfriendly...no welcome whatsoever. The waiting staff were very pleasant and efficient. Great tasty food but front of house needs considerable improvement.
Wholesome Viet inspired food. Would recommend to others. Relatively small venue/quick service ideal for low key setting. Thanks
