Very nice restaurant and the waiting staff were excellent and attentive. There were a loud group of girls on a hen night which were a bit over the top. Apart from that, restaurant was excellent!
Booked a table for dinner prior to a Hydro event. Staff were overwhelmed and not enough tables to cater to bookings. The staff left my family standing in the middle of the restaurant for 20 minutes after our booking. We also noted tables being left for long periods without orders being taken. After 20 minutes of waiting and no sign of being seated any time soon, we had to leave as did not want to be late for event. Would never attend this restaurant again.
A couple of colleagues and I were in the city for a conference so needed somewhere to have dinner. OpenTable suggested this restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was great.
I'm sorry but our overall experience was poor, waiter smashed a bottle of wine at our table splashing on out trousers, they also had to be reminded to bring our starter and then tried to serve our main meal before we had finished our starter. I thought at least we should have been offered something off our bill but alas no. Very poor show....... won't be back.
Visited here on Sunday Mother's day with my husband. We have dined here on several occasions before, usually for lunch or pre-theatre which offers great value for money for great food. On this occasion we opted for the more pricey, (but still reasonable) a la carte and were glad we did. For starters I had the scallops wrapped in parma ham, although I had ordered the scallops and king prawns. However the waiter did bring me the king prawns as well at no extra charge. It was probably the best starter I have ever had. My husband opted for the calamari which he said was cooked to perfection. For mains I had the veal medallions with a parma ham and cheese topping in a white wine and lemon sauce, veal is my favourite mains and it was amazing. My husband had sea bass which went down well. With a bottle of chardonnay at £20 and a peroni the total bill was £72 . Would highly reccomend this restaurant to everyone and we will visit again next time we are in Finnieston,
Very good food with very friendly and helpful staff
Decent food in good location for Hydro. Quite busy but good service nonetheless.
Still a nice ambience but the food seems to have gone down hill compared to my experiences over the last year
The restaurant doesn't feel especially classy, yet it charges more premium prices, the service was ok, not especially warm or caring the food was fine, except one of my dining companions ordered fish with risotto , and the fish came with boiled rice. My bruschetta was very nice and fresh, but the lasagne was tasty enough, but the quality of the mince wasn't great.
It didn't live up to my expectations, and I wouldn't choose to dine there again, but it was far from horrible. Trouble is acceptable meal out doesn't cut it any more.
Lovely meal from the Concert menu Great value for money Great atmosphere
Poor service and horrible food - was rushed out at the end by one of the managers
Visited before a show at the Hydro. Restaurant was packed but service was really quick and efficient. Food was tasty and none of us had any complaints (party of 8). Will definoitely return
We booked the restaurant on the opentable app after coming out of a show in the bbc studios. It was 10pm in a Thursday night when we booked. The restaurant showed availability for 1015pm and 1030pm. When we arrived at the restaurant five minutes later it was closed and the staff were locking up. They should not accept bookings if they decide to close early! (I have had to put one star in all boxes as it wouldn’t let me submit my review with no stars)
Food was bland. Staff tried to move us out while we still had 1/2 bottle of wine to finish. Only thing going for this restaurant is it close to the Hydro. Very disappointed
Food was amazing. Service was good. We will definitely be booking again.
Lovely food and great service especially from Toni
Cheerful and pleasant dining in an informal and friendly traditional Italian dinery: flexible and attentive service, a good range of food on offer, with something for everyone. Our mixed party of 11 all said how much they enjoyed the meal.
Italian restaurant with pre theatre menu offers. Friendly staff but could get a bit loud at times because of music and lively banter of waiter.
Not the place to go for a quiet or romantic meal.
A friendly Italian family atmosphere with great character and the staff are helpful fun and chatty. Gave us a few bonus limoncello's to finish after the pre theatre menu last visit. I'd highly recommend giving it a try. I got a wowcher or similar voucher for Christmas a couple of years back and we've been back several times since and it's now a firm favourite.
Excellent pre theatre meal -good value and friendly staff -restaurant full
Friendly service with great banter. Food is amazing and piping hot. Great help with wine choices. Lovely cosy restaurant where you are not overwhelmed by noise from lots of people. Cannot recommend this little gem enough. If you love food then it's a must!
Lovely food, large portions.
Staff very pleasant and attentive.
Great food & great service for a rather rowdy party of 10! Happy to accommodate us pushing back our reservation time and so accommodating of all our (many) requests!! Thank you, we had a great time! S xx
Meal was gorgeous, staff very attentive and it’s very competitive priced
This restaurant is traditional Italian cafe style dining with fantastic service and fantastic tasty food. Myself husband and two teenage children had a great relaxing night with great food. Excellent value for money would highly recommend this wee place. I will be back very soon.
Food was not very good, we have dined there a good few times but the last twice we were there, we were not impressed. It has changed so much
Ate here on the pre concert menu prior to going to the hydro. Pre concert menu had a good selection of choices, portion sizes were good, food was delicious and service was excellent.
