Vintage Inn, The St George & Dragon Exeter
Good was good and staff very friendly but took too long to serve. They did give us a round of drinks for free which made up for the slow service
This was a good visit. Christmas week and the place was heaving. Great atmosphere and despite how busy it was the service was very Good. Main course arrived in good time. We had to wait slightly longer for Dessert. That was fine however because the wait allowed the first course to settle a bit.
The service was fairly quick and has a good selection of larger and beer on tap, but the food was not as good as hoped , the sirloin was tough and we had ask for the side of prawns we ordered, and the extra gravy was cold and not much of it, the wagu Burger wasn't cooked all the way through but I think it was meant to be like that it just wasn't to my liking, it didn't have any Mayo on it either it just seemed like both meals where just slung together.
great meal and staff were fantastic the place was clean and wellcoming
Very welcoming, staff could not do enough to make my visit enjoyable. Had a two course meal for £20, cannot beat it for value.
Hadn't been here for years but reviews were good so made last minute booking for 6. Menu had good variety & service was excellent. Food arrived in good time with generous sized portions. Take note when the menu suggests to leave room for pudding...definitely worth it. Altogether a lovely relaxes lunch & hope to return again soon 😀
Great Sunday roast, friendly service. Lots of parking would definitely recommend
Visited for a mothers day weekend meal with family. Pre booked online which always handy, with a call back from the pub quickly to confirm. Nice atmosphere in the pub, busy but not loud and too crowded. Bar area does snacks and light meals and restaurant does sit down waitress served, more formal. Table not too close together and relaxed feeling.
Good range of food, we had the special mothers day menu but there were several choices for each course.
Bar not too pricey and nice staff. Would go there again if in the area and would recommend.
Really nice food and a lovely pub.
The advertised Sunday carvery/platter is so much more than a carvery and understated given the quality!!
Whilst it doesn't compete for a cheap carvery it excels on quality.
Although the restaurant was busy my reserved table was ready and the service was prompt.
Food was served without any undue delay and was hot and most enjoyable.
