From rustic pizza to delicate pasta and hearty mains, our kitchen team have developed a menu for all at Vista Italian Soul Bar & Kitchen. A grand, bustling atmosphere with sublime views over the Morecambe coast make the perfect scene for spending time over food with friends and family. Our menu combines Italian American fusion with everything from the classic carbonara and home-tossed pizzas to chicken pitta sizzlers, halloumi and avocado salad and house steaks and mains. We are super child-friendly with lift access, lots of space and arcade games and pool tables attached to our onsite bowling lanes.

    Food was average, and expensive for what it was. The pizzas were very cheese heavy, and lacked some seasoning. The chips were underdone and soggy and the starters were tiny portions for the cost (nearly £7 for one chicken fillet cut up). Service was okay, a little slow but they were reasonably busy. It’s great for bowling here, but wouldn’t return for food due to the quality and expense. Can get a nicer meal in weatherspoons for half the price, or visit a nicer restaurant for the same price.

    I had to go up and ask to order. Then playes weren't cleared and we were ignored with staff looking at us. We had to go up to ask for a box and the puddings and the bill

    Love this place usually, but I was really disappointed this time. The food wasn't as good as we have had previously, and some of the staff weren't happy to be asked for more drinks.

    I was really disappointed with our visit yesterday. We often come bowling and food as a family however yesterday the service was very poor. The eating area was particularly cold and we asked for it to be switched off we all had to sit on coats and eat. Service to gather our order was slow and also to deliver our drinks to bowling took 20 mins and in the end I collected them from the bar. Food was ok but not the usual standard

    Once again we received terrible service at Soul Bowl. I've given this place many chances because their food is really nice, and it is good value. However, the staff really let this place down. We had to ask three times for our next course which left the kids getting very agitated. The staff were unhelpful and clearly couldn't be bothered to be there. At the end of our meal we asked for a box for the uneaten food and watched as the waitress walked off and stood chatting to a group of boys who had come in. 20 minutes passed and we still had no box. Resulted in us going to the bar to ask for it ourselves and in fairness to the man at the bar he was very apologetic and quickly ran and got one. The whole experience was a let down. Staff come and take your order and then never come near you again. No checking if food is ok or if you are ready for your next course. It may as well be self service. Like I said, the food is always spot on here, and its a lovely venue but its just a shame that it is staffed with young people who have absolutely no sense of customer service.

    The food was mediocre especially considering the price of it. I expected the chicken burger to be chicken breast but was cheap reformed ‘chicken’ . The kebab was more like fajitas. However, the staff were all attentive and lovely. Nice atmosphere. We were served quickly and got our food promptly. Unfortunately the food let it down.

    Came here for my birthday. We was seated by the window which had a nice view of the promenade. The mains we ordered came out efficiently and everyone enjoyed them. What was disappointing was that a waitress (young blonde girl with French braids) came to us at 19:50 to take our desert orders. 2 people in the party ordered a scoop of ice cream each. We waited as time passed to watch the waiting on staff just stood talking to each other. We were booked for bowling at 8:30 and desert hadn’t arrived. We went to the till to get the bill and go to bowling for our booking we asked about the desserts. The girl goes “ oh I didn’t put it through” and laughed no apology for 40 minutes of waiting. She told us we couldn’t cancel it now as she has put it on the bill which she took payment for. A simple refund would have been suffice. She said tell me your lane and I will bring it straight to you. We told her the lane 15 minutes passes and nothing staff all just stood around bar front so we asked again. Eventually it came out . We was not given cutelry cos we was at the lanes. We was given the tiniest wooden stirrer like scoop. At this point we didn’t want it and it was inconvenient cos when we were bowling we had to leave it on the side and come back to it after our turns. At this point it was like gloop and you just couldn’t enjoy yourself or the desert. If she had just said she had forgotten and apologised it wouldn’t have been so bad but to be treated like you didn’t matter when you come for your birthday and pay a lot for the event is disappointing. I did speak to someone who was in charge that night the duty manager when I questioned the second time on where it was. She also did not seem to care. For someone who frequents here often for food and bowling this experience was disappointing to say the least and has me questioning returning to the resteraunt side of the establishment.
