Unfortunately g the he grill wasn’t working but we weren’t advised until we were already at the table. We had somewhere else to be and so decided to give it a go. The food took a bit of time to arrive and was not particularly warm. Again as we had somewhere else to be we got on with it. The waitress was lovely and so apologetic, we did receive a discount but it was disappointing. If we weren’t in such a hurry we too would have joined the others deciding to eat elsewhere. We did have a better time on our previous visit
Food was ok , nothing special it was tasty enough so I’m not saying don’t go , service was very good although girl was run off her feet trying to serve lots of tables , pricing was about right , I would go back
We reserved a 10 for ten people for a double celebration. We were split into two booths with 6 larger adults squashed into one booth. There was no reference to the celebrations even though they were informed. Drinks order was mixed up and Pepsi was flat and was sent back
Other than the food is a little bit of a wait the taste and the prtion is massive... its pretty good deal for its price
Been going to this restaurant for a number of years we normally love it but this time it was disappointing, the quality of the food was not as good and the milk shakes which were usually so good were just okay. They also need to put the meatballs back on the menu.
Manager need sacking. Was on her phone whilst her team struggled.
Food was beautiful and the service was amazing. The only downside was the toilets which were not clean at all and a health hazard, we did make staff aware as sometimes this can be out of their control due to customers. Will definitely return lovely places delicious food and friendly staff
Booked table and people without bookings were seated before us. Table and seating were dirty, not been cleaned at all. Waited a while to order and even longer to ask for the bill. Food wasn't good or value for money.
Had a lovely meal here, kids loved it the young blond waitress was lovely and really helpful. Good was so good!!! Was full for the rest of the day. Good took quite a while to come out but they were busy.
Overall good experience. Waited almost 45mins for food but that could have been with the restaurant being a little busy.
We came in on Wednesday night to watch the England game, we got there at 7:30pm, service was great, we were served by Beccy and she was lovely, we didn’t feel rushed because we were there for almost 2 hours, food was great and good value for money, when we are next up again we will surely go again
Initial service very welcoming, was told I could have gluten free bread with my burger and that my burger would come with a gluten free cheese sauce, I was looking forward to it as being coeliac i struggle to find places that can adapt or cater for me.
However, waited an hour for four meals, two of them kids meals.
I had to find a member of staff to ask if food would be on its way as kids were getting restless only to be looked at like I was being really awkward for asking the question.
Food arrived, was disappointed with my order, there was no gluten free bread no cheese sauce on my burger, just a very lame looking burger with a sad piece of cheese on top and some fries thrown on the side, which I could have gone to McDonald’s for!
I asked if there was any gluten free bread and cheese sauce again be looked at like I’d literally asked them a riddle!
Apparently, they had no gf bread and the cheese sauce wasn’t gluten free.
The other meals looked alright but for us as a family it was nothing great, we wouldn’t be in rush to go back and overall we were all pretty disappointed.
We came today at 4 got a drink and ordered food, but the fire alarm kept going off, there was no reassurance of what was going on and then being told we had to go outside to come back inside where the alarm was still going off, the staff were standing there talking to them self and were more bothered about two women who walked out without paying than other people who were waiting for food, we left in the end because my son who has autism could not stand the noise anymore
Staff friendly, food was excellent with good choice. All covid safety measures adhered to.
45 minute wait for food, but the wait time was clearly posted upon arrival. Staff very friendly. Nice atmosphere
Poor service from start to finish. Was taken to our table and left alone for 20 Minutes, my husband had to ask if we were going to be served when people who came in after us were served straight away. We ordered food and drinks. The drinks only turned up 2 minutes before food, we then had to ask again for cutlery as none was given. Food was fine but would not return again due to poor service.
Food was okay after waiting for it for over an hour. Also was only given 1 tissue between 5 people :( service put us off
Had a good wee night at Viva Vegas - our host was a lovely lad called Callum (who seemed to have been the only one who knew what he was doing on service) and there an amazing bartender who gave us the best woo woo & godfather cocktails. The food we got was good- although the mini Mac n cheese starter was a Esther bland and fries were cold. Other than this, nothing else was worth complaining. Thank you for a good date night.
Not what I expected at all. Had I seen the restaurant before booking I wouldn’t have booked. The place looked dingy. Customer service was ok but for a place like that you think the staff would be a little more upbeat. The music interrupted every 10 minutes to tell you to go to the Vegas show which is sold out so what’s the point. Food wasn’t great. Passable.
Absolutely amazing food and great atmosphere! Wonderful staff... would definitely recommend!
Very welcoming, staff very good, considering the current situation we were very impressed with the everything, and will visit again
Was lovely food and very friendly staff but very noise with kids screaming should be a adults only part
Boiled hot dogs out of the tin for nearly £7 a go.
Extortionate to say the least.
Restaurant was quiet but still took 45 minutes to receive our drinks then a further 15 mins later for the food.
Quite confusing considering the boiled hot dogs came out luke warm.
A real let down which is a shame as the Restaurant looks really inviting, if the food and service was improved it would be a great place to eat with the family.
I doubt the owners will take on board as they are obviously not interested in repeat business just the passing through holiday victims.
Food was lovely had a bit of a wait for our drinks and was a tad noisy to start the night but then quitened down pretty quick
Burger was cold, services was slow. Ribs had no fries.
Lovely meal, lovely atmosphere and very reasonable, would recommend
Had to ask for cutlery. My hotdog has made the bun soggy so it all fell apart and had to ask for drink twice. Was disappointed with what we got for the cost too
My granddaughter and i had our first visit here in July 2020 and now every time we visit Blackpool we come for a burger. We have never been disappointed by the food or the service.
Waited 10 minutes on arrival for a seat, when sat our orders were taken to then take half an hour to even get our drinks before a further 20 minutes for our food.
We had a booking for 5.30 as we were attending the jersey beats show at 7.pm. On the viva website it informed that we would have the table for 45 minutes, it took over 50 minutes and the food still had not arrived. We spoke to staff who apologised for the delay. We asked to speak to the manager and explained that we had to be in the viva show bar venue for 7.00 He was rude, arrogant and completely indifferent to providing any assistance. It took the marketing manager from the show bar minutes to solve the problem. She arranged for our food to be had in the show bar, She was most apologetic, and rectified the situation. The manager of the diner is doing the company no favours by mismanaging, he is clearly out of his depth and does the venue a disservice.
We were kept waiting 1hr 15 mins for ordered food on a PRE-BOOKED table. Ordered 2 americanos which were thrown at us, no saucers, cutlery or milk/sugar. No one checked on us until we asked where our food was.
We were seated at our 'reserved' 'precisely timed' table at 5.30pm which was near the door, all other tables full. We didnt get our food until 6.45pm. Customers queued quite near to the table from outside without reservations and were seated.
Covid protection was not sufficiently distanced, nor were we asked to sanitize hands on entry, although there was a very dirty looking, sparce bottle of gel on a stand near to the desk on entry.
It spoiled a very special evening for me and my husband who were seeing the Jersey Beats show adjoining.
If we had known we could have had alternative bar food (we thought it was just main meals) in Viva showroom, we would have done that as we were left with 5 minutes to eat 2 burgers and couldn't have dessert.
Amazing lovely food. Great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone
Food was sloppy, looked like they just rushed it. Portions look nothing like the pictures. Heard really good things about the restaurant but was very disappointed when we ordered.
Brilliant meals and the portions are massive really good value for what you get..
I pre-booked a table for 2 on the website hoping for a booth but was put in the bar area - a couple were seated after us but got served food and drinks before anyone had even come to our table to take our order. I had to go to the bar after 15 mins and ask if I could order food and drinks but was told it’s table service only and someone would come to take our order.
Staff were darting all over and I had to stop someone walking past us and asked if I could place an order - he replied “yeah I’ll be back in 1 minute” - he did come back to service another party next to us but darted off never to be seen again! 35 mins we were sat and after 2 prompts to the staff we left without even having a drink. Such a shame as I’ve been during August with my daughter and a similar thing happened but I thought I would give it another chance (I appreciate busy times/staffing levels/etc) and suggested it as the place to try that night with someone else I was out with but it was even worse service the 2nd time around. Such a shame as the place is lovely inside but....once bitten, twice shy!
Lovely visit to see the Illuminations. It was whilst the covid restrictions weren’t put in place and with heavy rain outside. They let us keep our booth for a few hours so we could have a leisurely meal drinks, cocktails for me. Kids loved it, hubby loved the match that was showing on the screens. By the time we left the rain eased off and we could walk off all the lovely food.
Service great, food excellent, staff friendly. My only small gripe here is that while the food portion sizes were nice (I ordered burger & chips), there wasn't much in the way of "free" sides, like a burger coming with chips, dip, salad etc. I had a burger on a plate and chips in a bowl, and I ordered both separately. Other restaurants would provide these side items on your plate - it just helps with presentation and value for money. Other than that, yeah fantastic atmosphere and music, loved it.
Very quiet, under the current situation. Staff very friendly, very nice cocktails, staff lovely with our son, very organised
Second visit here! One of our favs in Blackpool! Food is unreal!
Was kept waiting at the door for our table, however after that service was good and food was excellent.
