We went for the 3 course meal deal and was very impressed with the quality and the presentation of the food. The baba rum might be a bit big for a dessert but everything else was perfect.
Really nice venue, very open, airy and stylish. The service was friendly. Not at all busy for a Saturday night. The food was good, although not amazing which it really should be for the prices. Ended up paying £180 for a meal for two. That included wine and two glasses of bubbly, but was still pricey. I would definitely go back, but probably more to enjoy the bar. Cocktails looked great.
Lovely food, and excellent service. Very friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. I fear this may because it's still relatively unknown and is quite quiet. I wonder whether the same level of service will remain when it becomes undoubtedly busier as words spreads.
Delicious food on the set menu. Friendly, welcoming and very professional service. Great ambience. Bright, open space with panaromaic views. Definitely will return!
Poor service to start which did improve and over priced ok food. We won’t be back.
New restaurant, beautiful decor. It was not too busy even on Friday. Live DJ session playing on Friday nights. A starter, Cornish Crab was really good.
We had to wait for a waiter approx 20 mins when we wanted to pay, we couldn't get their attention at all.
It was really good experience.Great food and service.
Slow service , ran out of burgers , friendly staff
Absolutely outstanding. Perfect service
We had a great time at this new and gorgeous place. The reception team was professional but Christina at the reception was lovely and make us very welcome.
Our waiter Wisam was very professionnel and attentif.
Thanks to Zak and his team for a great first time. Will be back
We thought that it would be a nice evening with our friends but unfortunately, the food was nothing to rave about and the portions were very small. The Chef will have to rethink the menu. The beetroot salad (as a main) was incredibly small. I believe that the waiter was also surprised.
They even brought me a cake for my engagement celebration!
Great location, decor and ambience. However it's early days and front of house are still finding their feet. That said there was a new manager in who had only been there for a week. He did his best to look after us and so the overall experience was great.
We booked a table for a birthday, we wrote on the reservation and we said to two waiters that it was birthday. We didn’t receive anything for it. For the refill tea we were charged for the second tea we asked for. We think it really ridiculous when you go for afternoon tea. Otherwise the waiter were really nice and friendly.
Service a bit chaotic. We were not offered the glass of Prosecco that was included in the pre theatre set menu. They made up for it by crediting the two coffees that we had. Had I not brought it to their attention they would certainly have not done that. Small choice of food on the set menu but settled for the Gnocchi which was tasty. The Apple Crumble dessert was delicious. Interestingly Giles Coren visited last week and reviewed it. Alas he was not over impressed.
I loved this place from the moment I stepped in. The restaurant had a 60s vibe and the decor tastefully reflected this. The staff were really friendly and attentive and were on hand the whole time, without being obtrusive. The menu was a deal and for under £25 for 3 courses offered excellent value for money. The music had a retro vibe and the place was big with huge windows stretching the length of the restaurant. (The view of the bank opposite may not have been the best, but I'm sure the city skyline will change over time.) We were left to chat and catch up even after the place emptied out. The toilets were great too with the inspirational artwork on the walls of the cubicles.
Unfortunately they did not give the open table points after booking
When we arrived we were told the restaurant had no gas and we wouldn't be able to have hot food, so we left.
Delicious and different food, beautifully served. Waldorf salad and pate starters good; Risotto, chicken tikka and fishcake with mushy oeas and tartare sauce all excellent and treacle tart with cream mouth-watering. Great complimentary prosecco as part if special offer menu. Lovely light and sparkling area. Excellent service from Melissa. Only downside was too loud thumpy "music". Something smooth and quiet would have added a luxurious feeling. However certainly will return
Wonderful afternoon tea for Mother’s Day - beautiful surroundings, great decor, attentive service and delicious food. We will be back soon!
Everything was lovely, the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
Staff & food were excellent.
Soufflé starter & venison pudding main were delicious.
Decor & ambience lovely.
Prices on the high side.
Beautiful setting with so much light in the dining room. Food was very tasty and their breakfast juices and smoothies are delicious. However service was slow; it took 15 minutes for someone to come take payment for our bill, which made me late.
A great new restaurant with good food and excellent staff
Very beautiful restaurant. The food and cocktails were phenomenal. Service was a little slow though.
Afternoon was superb! Really enjoyed the sitting at the bar area as well. Lovely decor and atmosphere.
Lovely ambience combined with delicious food. Highly recommended if you want to treat someone.
The place has a very pretty nice 1960 vibes with a modern twist . Cocktails, food and wine selection is nice. However as soon as we arrived we’ve been told to order drinks within few minutes as bar was closing and we’ve got kicked out by 11:30 without even being offered dessert or coffee , only the bill. Half way through main course they turned on the high lights which killed the overall experience. Do not offer table for 10pm and 10:30pm if you gonna close within an hour.
The place has however a nice design , quite big but with an intimate atmosphere.
Food was just ok but very nice venue
It was very quiet when we went but did start to get busier after 6pm. Only negative was they charged for crisps and olives and didn’t tell us so we spent £18 without realising.
Faultless food service and overall experience. For some reason thought the place was on the top floor of Centre Point but note it is not, only 1st floor so no views!
