Good service good food but extremely noisy
Great food and service! Highly recommend.
Good food and wine!!
Great first experience at Vivo.
Some fun and tasty specialty cocktails with a twist on standard drinks.
The food was delicious. Pasta dishes were ample servings, and very enjoyable.
And the server was attentive, polite and professional.
Will definitely return again.
Very friendly and accommodating. I do not eat dairy, and they were great with helping to make sure I had zero dairy in my meal. Bartender was also great, she made me a drink that was no longer on their drink menu.
Second time there. First time just the two of us. Everything was excellent.
It was just a little noisy but not too bad.
Excellent food service everything!!!
Beautiful restaurant. Service was very good. Sometimes she took a while to come back but assuming they are understaffed like all restaurants right now. Food was very good. Only small negative was they didn’t have any sauces for the crab cakes. They were great and didn’t need sauce but was really weird not to have any aioli or tartar sauce options when I asked before tasting them. Waitress offered hot sauce! Drinks were also good but a little on the bitter side. Overall very good and will return.
Arancino was excellent, calamari okay. Italian Wedding probably would have been good if it was hot and the spinach wasn't raw. Lobster ravioli was good, lobster tail was tender. Veal Sinatra was atrocious, overly sauced with overly breaded veal. Chicken Francese and Shrimp Piccata were decent but too much and too acidic sauce. Dining room was full so we understand the servers were busy but ours was essentially absent and never checked on food quality or a drink refresh.
Drinks were good and apps came out hot. However, entrees were brought to the table cold.
Awesome food. Great services. Can’t complain here.
First time diners.. we were impressed and will be back.
The only issue we had was we ordered one of the drinks off the drink menu.. took a few sips and didn’t like it.. we asked for something else and was happy with the second drink.. the first one however was still on our bill even though we didn’t drink it… we did say they could keep it on the bill… it was disappointing that they didn’t take it off the bill in good faith… being a restaurant manager myself I wouldn’t have charged for something that someone didn’t consume nor liked…not sure if the server told management…
Not the end of the world..😀.. we will be back
Food was great and our server was very attentive. We will go back.
Love the food
Our waiter was very helpful and very efficient. The lamb chops were done perfectly. Seafood Gorgonzola was tasty, but very rich. Would definitely go back. A bit out of the way, but welcoming in the busy high traffic area of Allentown.
It’s always a great time and great food. A nice pleasant atmosphere to kick back with some great Italian food and conversation with family.
The food was great! Also are server was very good!
Food and service was excellent! Definitely recommend !
Great authentic Italian dishes. Lots of seafood in the menu makes it a bit unique
Appetizer was delicious, bruschetta with mascarpone, tomato, ham another cheese!
I was disappointed with the Arancini (spelled wrong), rice ball. Before the pandemic, I remember a core of meat ball surrounded by rice and peas. This was 2 small ones, that’s ok, but I found very little, if any, meat. However, it was tasty, as was the sauce.
We were happy with our choice of restaurants. And we will be back.
Always a great experience at Vivo - food, service, cleanliness always on point!
Asked for something not on the menu. Jennifer didn’t hesitate. The dish was perfect.
Awesome Italian restaurant. Great food at a reasonable price. Will go there again.
Vivo was highly recommended by a few friends. The food was to die for! The antipasto appetizer was hands down the best! Great friendly staff, wonderful service! Will be going back again
Food was very good. Everything was tasty.
As always, excellent food in a comfortable atmosphere with outstanding service!
Good true Italian food. reasonable limited wine selection. We love the attention to many details, the barriers at the top of the booth seats, the sturdy classy looking placemats, the hot/warm bread with oil or butter option (not just one), freshly filled cannoli, sturdy complex sauces.
Excellent calamari with fresh marinara sauce. Delicious papparadelle and alfredo with shrimp. Hearty lobster de mare. It was quiet for a Friday night but the place was full. Service was slow because they were short staffed in the kitchen but our waitress checked on our drinks and made sure if we needed anything. The food was worth the wait. It's one of our favorite places for dinner.
Everything was delicious. Service was good. Glad they were able to survive the last year. It was great to be back.
I used to love Vivo. The past few times I’ve been there the food is underwhelming. Last night I had the Marsala, which was bland; very bland if you can imagine that. My daughter had the Lonster ravioli which she really likes, but I find their vodka sauce is pasty. The lobster tail it was topped with was dry snd bland (difficult to do with a lobster tail). The server was prompt snd friendly, snd the atmosphere in the lower level is nice (except I don’t like that they have TV’s, which are distracting when you’re trying to talk with people). I will definitely go back because it’s super close to home, but it won’t be a top choice going forward; there are so many Italian restaurants that are much better.
Delicious food and great drinks. Third time visiting recently and will be going back!
this has become our GO TO place.................................
From appetizer to the meal to thedessert, everything was tasty, quality and served timely. First time but won't be the last time!
Really like the food
Excellent. Server Chris was very attentive. The food was deliciously prepared.
Always a great meal from a great family. Jen is a great server as well.
First time, great bar drinks and selection. Food wonderful, slightly pricey.
I knew all the chain places would be a trainwreck on Father's Day and, coming in from out of town, I didn't have much local knowledge. This place was available on OpenTable so I grabbed a reservation. In a VERY out of the way spot and the place was pretty empty but don't let that fool you, it's worth a visit. My parents both had the shrimp scampi and I had mussels over angel hair pasta in a red sauce. I loved their red sauce, deep flavors. Also, their Calamari was spot on, very lightly breaded and very tender. A bit pricey but I know that many restaurants have had to increase their prices due to their costs going up.
Good service by our waiter
