Volta is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar located at the heart of Burton Road in West Didsbury. We serve a menu of small plates inspired by international travels. You can eat & drink on our cosy terrace to the front or enjoy the chic decor and vintage bistro style ambience inside.

Please note, on Sundays we serve our Sunday roast menu.

Our outside covered terrace offers heaters and a covered canopy, hosting the full range of drinks and food.

    Always love the food at Volta! They are small plates…but big plates if you know what I mean. Staff are lovely too. I highly recommend!

    Having worked in the food industry I rarely write reviews however I was disappointed with today’s offerings. The men was very limited and the 3 for £15 offered the same as the other menu so not much choice. When the food arrived it was oily. Best thing we had was the roast potatoes - sorry but our experience wasn’t great which is a shame when you are treating someone.

    Great food, great atmosphere and even better service. If you’re looking for a cool spot for a lovely evening in West Didsbury this is the place to be. Outstanding food in particular. Would 100% come again.

    Fantastic food, every small plate was amazing. The service was also fantastic and great recommendations stopped us from over ordering. Cocktails were good as well. Highly recommend this lovely place.

    We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu including the steak, lamb & sea bass. All were exceptional tastes & flavours.
