   Free standing restaurant separate from most of the hotel rooms. Outside and inside seating with nice view of the river. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Everything enjoyed by diners: Starters;Haggis and octopus(exceptional). Main: Salmon, fish and chips(large portion). Dessert: sherbet served with fresh berries (another win) Cheerful and efficient waitstaff. Pay by card or cash Highly recommend to US travelers

   We had our third dinner in Scotland, and everything was exceptional! The Cullen skink is now a favorite, and the salmon was likely the best I ever had! Everything about our dining experience was absolutely amazing! If you can only have one dinner in Inverness, do yourself a favor and go here!!!

   Lovely restaurant, the lamb dish was the most succulent thing I’ve tasted. The sticky toffee pudding made you close your eyes and main in delight! Wonderful meal with charming ambiance. The dress was a range of casual (no shorts or lounge wear) to some dinner wear. Make this a stop and you won’t regret it.

   We booked a table for the Sunday roast. When we arrived at 7.30 half of the menu wasn't available so we had the soup and roast beef. The soup was not very hot and the beef was overcooked, it's advertised as roast beef but you get some grilled slices of beef? The yorkies were very hard and not nice at all. The food was very disappointing. The service was very attentive and the staff were very apologetic about the experience. Unfortunately it's not as it used to be and we're not going to return anytime soon

   Don’t order the garlic and rosemary chips ! Worst I’ve had anywhere. Covered in green garlic powder. The Brie was over cooked too -not pleasant at all. Food quite Bland tbh Setting is wonderful looking over the river.quite expensive for small portions though as the main had no potatoes so hence the chips at a extra £5. Normal potatoes weren’t an option. Service charge automatically added on . Staff were attentive but we would not return.

   They obviously did not want us there. They did not take drink orders. The server finally came to the the table to take our food order and we gave her our drink orders. A runner brought the drinks and food. Our server did bring us water when asked. We waited at least 45 minutes for our check. The food was decent but terrible service. We felt very unwelcome. It is a beautiful location but, unfortunately, not a very pleasant experience outside of that.

   Lovely table, great views, attentive staff, good food. We had starters and a main. The soup was delicious as was the lamb main dish.

   Food very good and well served on hot plates. ( Hot dish ordered) Did not appreciate the inclusion of a 10% service charge automatically applied to our bill.
