As always in our experience, every element of our lunch was first class.

Very disappointing. I checked the reservation the day before and was the table was still booked and everything was fine..

Me and my family arrived on the day to be told the kitchen was closed. We were offered food to take away which someone else hadn’t picked up.

We had a lovely evening in the marquee. The staff were very attentive and it wasn’t easy for them under the circumstances with Covid and atrocious weather. The food was excellent and we had a very successful evening.

In these difficult and challenging times the Exeter Golf & Country club have exceeded expectations. They have excellent covid protocols in place. I feel very safe here and consider it my happy place.

Excellent food and great that we could gather as more than one household in the marquee. The heaters worked well and we had a great evening.

Went with husband for steak night on Friday 18th Dec.
He had steak and I had bouillabaise, plus starters, desserts and drinks.
As previously, everything was faultless - food, service, surroundings.
It's such a pleasure to dine here - friendly, relaxed, excellent food.
Highlights: my husband said his tomato was particularly delicious, and the glass of Malbec with the steak was perfect :)

Steak night is good value. The steak was cooked beautifully and lovely flavour. No chewing needed as the meat was so tender . Could have done with a few more chips but we had onion rings and an extra and really good rings.
Highly recommended and will book again.

The tables were well spaced, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and efficient and the background music was pleasantly unobtrusive. Overall a very pleasing atmosphere.

Great food and service as always. Very reasonably priced too with the 30% member’s discount.

Great food and good value. Staff very friendly My only small complaint was that the service was quite slow, even though it wasn’t that busy. Other than that, very highly recommended 👍🏼

As always, you are made to feel really welcome & nothing is too much trouble, I didn’t score full stars on the food as my husbands steak was a tad chewy, but that is the only issue & it didn’t spoil our lovely evening

We rally enjoyed our steak dinners. The fries were wonderful. Look forward to next time.

It was very quiet but festive and presentable. We were looked after by a lovely member of the team who made a conscious effort to engage with my family and I. She even acknowledge my birthday bringing out a candle with a cake.
I thought the afternoon tea was a little light and perhaps some more saviour items would be welcomed.
Great for parking and location is great.

We wanted to have a traditional afternoon tea experience and it was the right place for that. The staff was friendly and warm and took care of our vegetarian choice very well. The food was fresh and delicious. We were quite full by the end of the second course and the staff was generous to pack the cakes and tarts as takeaway.

Had a lovely 3 course dinner here on Friday evening. Food and service were faultless. Surprised it wasn't busier on a Friday....tables all well spaced and waitresses wearing masks. Pretty low risk I would have thought, felt very safe. I would encourage people to go if they are not high risk. (We are 56 & 59). Open to non-members.

Excellent food and service in a Covid safe environment. Addition of a savoury tea/cheese scone to the afternoon tea menu would be a very welcome variation.

A lovely airy dining room with views out over the parkland. The staff were very professional and pleasant. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. We had a lovely lunch and will be back soon.

The lunchtime 2 course meal is good value for money, although an extra choice on starters and mains would be welcome.
