Very good 3 course lunch - excellent soup, very good fish and chips and tasty pineapple and mousse. Friendly service and excellent value
We has a lovely experience during our “not quiet Christmas lunch “ with friends. The food and service were both impeccable. The subtle but effective COVID 19 measures made the experience feel safe and comfortable. Would highly recommend.
Most fun I've had with my clothes. I'll remember those carrots and parsnips until the day I die. Nothing will ever compare
I booked Whiskers for their Sunday roast which was included in their set menu. The menu had a good variety of dishes and very well priced. I went for 2 courses for £20. The beef was cooked perfectly, amazing gravy and the roasties were super crispy. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Very nice meal. A subtle French vibe which is lovely . Staff friendly . Covid processes good. Can’t wait to go when we can have a glass of Cremant before our meal . Nice wines by the glass .
The food here is really well cooked and delicious. Service slow but worth waiting for. Atmosphere is lacking but a difficult space to make cosy and welcoming.
Lovely place - lots of room and friendly staff. Great for young kids and families too.
A tasty Sunday roast in a lovely ambience, despite not being able to have some music or a wine due to currant restrictions.
Lovely food with very good service. I have already booked a return visit.
Everything was excellent, food was amazing and the staff were very friendly.
Lovely Sunday roast, portion a little small but good
Favourite place in Stockbridge. Lovely atmosphere, fabulous choice of wines, and the food is absolutely fantastic. They take pride in using only the finest ingredients and serving food that is simply delicious. They are also dog friendly, which is an added bonus :)
Great food, atmosphere, and service as per usual!
Nevers lets us down. Food is incredible quality and great menu.
Lovely lunch, first class service - will definitely be back.
Very quiet but that’s to be expected and not something I expect will be the case when we get back to normality !
Great atmosphere and delicious food. A lovely evening.
Excellent meal - we had the fish and chips early evening deal which was lovely and very good value for money!
We had a cheese and meat board and it was lovely but we had to keep asking for bread! But menu looked lovely will be back for supper sometime!
Seat were well spaced apart which made it a very enjoyable evening
Best Sunday lunch ever!!!
Lovely restaurant inside, and good selection of wines but the service was unfortunately quite slow!
Lovely dining experience, servers were attentive and helpful. Food was very good the steak was amazing, didn’t like the starter! But overall definitely worth a visit.
Lovely meal - Porterhouse stead and amazing fresh oysters! Very good distancing between tables and lovely staff!
Lovely food, lovely staff, great wine! Would definitely recommend
The food and drink were excellent and overall we had a great evening. Slight hiccup at the beginning with drinks orders but easily remedied. Will return
Very knowledgeable staff. Delicious food and wine. Properly French!
Great steak, perfect matching red wine, good value, personal customer service. We’ll be back.
3 of us ate here in the evening and all had different dishes. We all loved what we had. The staff were friendly and very helpful when choosing wine. The atmosphere was nice. Enough noise to be ambient but not too loud. The mains are a little pricey, so we will be saving this one for future special occasions.
Helpful, friendly staff, lovely menu, served quickly and nice atmosphere. Delicious.
The three of us all had three courses all of which were delicious. The chicken pate is to die for as was the venison and dessert. The wines were excellent and staff friendly and helpful. During these difficult times we also all felt very safe and comfortable. Highly recommend.
The food is really delicious, the stuff are really professional and nice
The Sunday roast is really tasty and great value for money!
Brilliant food, excellent service. Love this place, quiet with tons of room between tables.
Friendly, attentive service with a good menu. Food was very well cooked and well presented. A relaxed venue with a buzz.
that was my 2nd time in 2 weeks .. different menu and all items at the table both times were delicious.. we were sharing tastes!
Tasty meal; however, seemed to take quite a while to receive our mains (little over 45min after the order was sent to the kitchen). We were told this was normal.
Other than the fact that it was a bit overpriced for what you get, but we had a lovely dinner and a great night. The staff were very friendly, and the ambience of the place is warm and cozy.
We had a really wonderful time here. The food and service in particular were excellent, could not fault anything. So accommodating with extra vegetarian options and amazing value for what you get. Will be coming back here very soon.
The service was very slow - we waited over an hour. The food was fine but below expectations.
We had been in for a drink last weekend and decided to book for lunch as we liked the atmosphere and friendly service.
Menu is quite small but does have a nice choice. Started with Chicken pate. It was so light but incredibly tasty, served with bread, light pickled and chutney. Followed with Salmon fillet which was nicely cooked and presented. My wife had fish & chips with minted crushed peas and tartare sauce. She liked the fish, the coating was nice and crisp and the haddock was lovely and moist, some of the chips were a little soggy as served underneath the fish. The chips unaffected were lovely. If ordering again I would suggest moving the fish off the chips. I had the chocolate fondant dessert, it was delicious. The service is friendly, as is the welcome. The food is beautifully presented. We will definitely return soon.
Thank you for a lovely lunch.
