I wrotte a petition before yo go because that day was muy husbnad birthday and when we gone the maitre said us that he has real muy note. Bit then when mu husbnad choose his dessert, they don't puta any candle.

First time to this venue but been to other venue on Royal mile Menu is very good same as other Went for stake ale whiski pie absolutely tastey and fantastic with side veg couldn't fault it gravey wasn't too rich just right. Went for triple ice cream for desert But recommend the whiski haggis Tower if visiting Recommended booking though fantastic popular place

Food was superb, staff helpful - they accommodated us despite arriving long before our booking due to nearby pubs not allowing children unless eating, ambience good, a thoroughly enjoyable occasion after having seen this place years ago on a previous visit to Edinburgh. Definitely recommended based on our experience. Excellent whisky selection as well. Not a cheap night out, but worth it for a treat!

We loved our dinner at Whiski Room. As we were a larger party (5) they gave us a more private location towards the back. Very nice space and perfect for 5-10 people. We had various food allergies in our party and the menu and chef were accommodating. All selections were delicious, all food was made fresh, and the spirits were made to perfection. Definitely make a reservation as getting a table is hard in the city during the summer.

We felt the items we had were a little over-priced. The cheese on Whiski Burger was so overpowering it obscured the taste of everything else. Would not have known there was actually any bacon at all if I hadn't actually seen it under the cheese. Had to pay extra for potato on the chicken entree. Probably won't be back.

The food was good, however the service was extremely bad. Our waitress (Rachel) came to the table only when called and had a terrible attitude towards us. We asked for a Bailey’s on the rocks and she never delivered it. Won’t be coming back, such a bad experience.

Good food and a pleasant, old fashioned ambiance. Prompt and helpful staff. My haggis, cullen skink, and cranachan were all first rate. The drinks menu was also extensive and reasonably priced, with some good cocktails. Highly recommended.

My personal experience was okay. The service was good but the quality of food was lacking for the cost. I ordered a avocado salad with salmon. I received a bowl full of iceberg lettuce. For the cost, that was a HUGE disappointment. In addition they provided the salmon with the skin on, however it was not crispy but flaccid and soggy. Again not huge issues but for the premium cost I paid I would definitely not go back.
