I booked Whiski Rooms for entertaining some European business colleagues; an excellent choice! Good range of Scottish cuisine on the menu and the whisky accompaniment recommendations add a bit of interest. The food itself was excellent. Not really a complaint but the starters were on the large side! The service was friendly and efficient and the wine and beer flowed nicely! Would not say it's low cost but it's not all that expensive either. A great location and I would highly recommend.

Highly recommended for people interested in sampling various types of scotch. An adjoining store sells bottles of high quality and obscure scotches. It has tasting nights that I may go back for. Also, the deserts were excellent and the bread was to die for.

Thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. Was a little disappointed that the discretionary service charge is added on without asking at the end though. I always leave a tip but taking it without permission is a bug of ours.

Booked for Father’s Day lunch and a table in the window had been reserved for us. However another table had been filled right next to it making us feel cramped when there were other empty tables. We really enjoyed the food and the choices in the menu were varied. The service was friendly and efficient. It felt like a professionally run restaurant. We thought the wine prices were very expensive so didn’t order any. Overall we do recommend.

This is our fav restaurant and choose it because it never fails to impress. The food is outstanding, total class!! This was my sons 21st meal and I would not have chosen anywhere else. We've done New Year here twice and Birthday celebrations and romantic nights out and we have never been disappointed. My eldest son loves it so much he booked his entire new year (22) around his booking at the Whiski Rooms, that's testment to how impressive it is. Thanks also for the 21st birthday whisky shot for my son, he loved it. Will be back as soon as we can.

The service was very good, waiter was very nice, but the restaurant was very noisy, and we found it difficult to hear each other. This was at dinnertime. The food was good for pub type food, the lamb cigars were excellent. Wide selection of drinks.

Wir haben den Bildern im Internet nach etwas mehr erwartet. Das Essen war durchaus sehr gut für die Art des Lokals. Der Service war ok, aber mehr auch nicht, doch mehr Touristen-Abfertigung. Aus diesem Grund haben wir auf die vielen angebotene Whisky-Flights auch verzichtet, da wir dem Service es nicht zutrauten entsprechend Antworten oder Kommentare zu den Whiskys zu geben. Schade.

This venue was packed when I arrived. I’m glad I made a reservation. I had the haggis, a first for this diner. It must have been prepared well; everyone else was eating it. The potatoes, neeps, and salad were fine, but the haggis just wasn’t to my taste. C’est la vie. Dessert, the chocolate fondant (lava cake) was great . Drinks, including coffee, likewise. I’d come again, and get anything, except the haggis.

Initially one person of our table of 6 was left without a drink and we had to ask again. The same thing occurred with the starter and one person had to wait at least 5 mins for his starter to turn up.
