White Rose Bar & Grill

Lovely place to eat and unwind. Service was awesome. Pulled pork Nachos and crab pretzel were very yummy. Tom the owner was very nice! Definitely will be going back.

Fries have a new seasoning we didn’t care for. Cheese fries hardly had any cheese for $14. They were out of wings. This is our favorite restaurant and we know things are difficult right now; just wanted to pass along our feedback in a constructive way! Service and drinks outstanding as usual!

Friendly staff, fast service and the food was amazing.

I was relieved to have such a great dining experience given the challenges of following protective guidelines for the COVID pandemic. Tables were spaced apart well enough for social distance, which also allowed for a more intimate dining experience. We were sat in the addition with fireplaces, which also was super comfy. I've never had a bad food experience at White Rose and the Orange Crush is still my favorite. Staff are always accommodating and personable as well.

Smash burgers are the bomb

We love White Rose and are so happy it’s back open. The servers, hostess and all employees we saw were wearing masks. The customers are seated appropriately distanced. And as always, the food was delicious! The service was quick and friendly.

We love the White Rose every time. The food and drinks are always good. The service is always good. We miss being able to just go there whenever we want actually! It’s one of favorites for date nights!

As always the food was terrific, service was very good. White Rose Bar and Grill is one of our favorite restaurants in York. We were seated on the Philadelphia street side porch so the traffic sounds were fairly loud, but that is not something White Rose staff can control. we have eaten on the Beaver St porch and the noise level is significantly lower and shorter in duration...there is always the indoor option for quieter dining.

I really appreciated the fact that this restaurant is complying with social distancing requirements.

Service was good as always! We enjoyed the crab cake sandwiches. Yum!

Waitress was wonderful and restaurant did a good job with social distancing. Only downside was the menu. We miss the old menu. Also, the lime for my beer was clearly several days old because it was mostly yellow. Not a deal breaker but a detail that staff should pay attention to.

The upgraded menu after the White Rose was closed due to COVID-19 is very refreshing! BOTH the smoked wings and the Bang Bang Shrimp are the best. we have had the Pepperoni Roll, Margherita pizza and the Crab Pizza and the crust is the best - really good pizza. I have had the Double Smash Burger and the Cajun Smash Burger, both are really tasty. My wife has had the Seared Flat Iron Steak, really tasty, the Vegetable Soup is really good and the Three Pigs Handhelds and she loved them. The new menu is a much needed change! All is good and tasty!

I was disappointed in the new menu. Our waitress was great and very attentive. She gets 5 stars. The food gets 3 stars.

We enjoyed our dinner on the porch & it was especially nice that the road was closed. For the most part we enjoyed the food, although the fries were not close to hot & the steak was a bit chewy. The ribs, salad, pepperoni roll, and crab super were great!

we arrived before our reservation so we sat at the bar. the bartender was extremely snobby and short when she spoke to us. usually i give the benefit of the doubt & assume maybe our server was just having a bad day but this same bartender had the same attitude when i came to this location a few months beforehand. despite there not being many customers at all and with seating being limited anyway, there really wasn’t that much going on but i had to remind our bartender i wanted to order food, twice. i don’t really know how white rose maintains business with over-priced menu items when the quality and service just isn’t there.

A little disappointed in the decreased menu and lack of healthy options. As a vegan, this is always difficult but the regular menu is better. I know these times are difficult but does everything have to be fried? There are fresh veggies and items across the street at the Market. Maybe will just stop for a drink.

It will be nice when they go back to real flatware and glassware not plastic

Everything was great!! Our server was very professional, accommodating and knowledgeable about everything.

The bloody Mary’s and crab cakes were excellent. Service was fast. It was our first restaurant experience since the coronavirus began. We were impressed and grateful to see the health guidelines were implemented. The staff did a great job.

Wasn’t a huge fan of the new menu. Ordered the crab pizza (was expecting the old crab flatbread) and was very unimpressed with it. Also, miss the old fries!!

Everything was very good. Happy to see servers wearing masks and practicing social distancing where possible. Just a little disappointed in the scaled down menu. Missed some favorites but certainly understand. Overall very pleased

We are very familiar with the white rose, and always have enjoyed food and ambience there. I was disappointed though, that they didn't enforce their own mask rule. Their website states that patrons are to be wearing masks when they enter, and basically whenever they are away from their tables. Unfortunately, most patrons walked in without a mask (I don't really understand why one would even try to enter a business without a mask) , and were not asked to put one on. Hardly anyone put on a mask to use the bathroom or to leave the restaurant. I would recommend the White rose only if your don't mind the lack of mask protocol.

Food was excellent and the server Chris did a wonderful job!

After making our reservation online, we arrived and we're quickly seated. Even though the menu was limited, based in the current situation, the food was fresh and amazing! The service with top-notch! Will easily be returning soon!

White rose has rolled out a new menu and everything is made from
Scratch. The food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back

Had a very nice dinner. I had the fish tacos which were very good and my husband had a burger which he also thought was very good. Love the atmosphere there.

Wanted to sit outside but they wouldn’t let us. Manager went around and asked everyone how it was at least 3 times and just walked past our table every time.
