It's a nice enough place with attentive service, but the food was a big disappointment, especially given how expensive it was. The wine was also outrageously expensive.
A truly outstanding dining experience. The service was excellent, the food even moreso. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful the entire evening and there isn't a single item I can fault at all.
My wife and I set a high standard and Wild Honey most certainly met it, and then some.
The decor is splendid and stylish, the clientele very polite and the noise levels & ambience spot on.
The time for food to be brought to the table was longer than I expected given that the restaurant was not busy.
Thank you for arranging a small cake treat for my sister's birthday.
Comfortable, relaxed space, helpful staff, gorgeous food.
Really enjoyed my breakfast. Atmosphere was lovely. Very calm and relaxing.
One of the best meals in the country! I've been coming to Wild Honey for years and it never disappoints.
Service and food was amazing. Staff was always happy to help and so polite, and the decor was beautiful. Excellent value for money on the dishes and portions. Would definitely return and recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening.
Good value on early evening menu but pricy on a la crate
Had a wonderful lunch
Great food. Good atmosphere. A few small teething issues post lockdown did not dampen a great evening and culinary extravaganza.
Good service coupled with an innovative menu and wine list. An enjoyable evening out
I expected more. For a restaurant that presents itself as fine dining I was disappointed. The restaurant was full and noisy, more like a pub than a fine dining restaurant, I guess I was expecting something a little more gentle in its atmosphere. The food, sadly also disappointing, I found all dishes well cooked but generally quite bland, not very flavorsome at all, certainly not memorable or anything I would recommend to a friend or return for. I felt cheated paying the bill. Sad, as the menu held so much promise.
Superb service, brilliant team, incredible food - simple but refined. Great great night.
Lunch for 4.
2 had to order 2 starters rather than a main as slightly odd menu.
Starters good quality but poor portion control.
Main course lamb no hint of pink but otherwise nice with sauce and pea purée v good.
Cod loin good
Service attentive but a bit pushy drinks wise
Very classy place with superb food and service.
I had been to Wild Honey at its previous site, and loved it! I am delighted to say that the new venue works really well. The food and wine wine were excellent, and special mention for the house negroni. Can't wait to come back!
So wonderful to back at Wild Honey after this latest lock-down. The food, as ever, was excellent and the service impeccable.
We will be back very soon!
Fantastic food and service in a pleasant and relaxed environment.
A lovely meal at this restaurant, Felt very Covid safe plus the bar is excellent. Staff were all great.
Amazing restaurant with super amazing staff. Every dish we was lovely
From start to finish, the experience was perfect! We will be back for another taste adventure!
This was a belated birthday lunch for my 20 year old son.
Wonderful, friendly and professional welcome.
Similarly, the waiter also was kind, providing guidance and discreet attention throughout the meal.
The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We finished all three courses!
Outstanding quality of food and food combinations. Very good service. Excellent value for money.
Quite disappointing. We went for an anniversary meal. The bouillabaisse was tasty, but at £39 each, quite stingy. 2 small pieces of fish, no seafood at all. My starter was tasty but miniscule. We were asked if it was a special occassion, and when we confirmed, were told we would have a “special treat” — with our dessert, two dry madeleines and some cut up fruit... for which we were then charged on the bill! Would not recommend, and would not go back.
Delicious food and great service. Specially fish, was just amazing!
Food was delicious and wine pairings recommendations from sommelier was excellent. Prompt and attentive service. COVID safety and precautions were in place and made us feel safe dinning there. Will return again. A treat for our first outing since Nov 2020 lockdown.
The pig head was excellent and the rabbit really tasty.
Enjoyed a late lunch from the Day Menu. Food was excellent, ambience spot on, and Staff lovely. A great experience for us both, and much appreciated, after waiting so long for a nice meal out. Thank you
Excellent food and service.
Lovely food served in a stylish setting by attentive but not overbearing waiting staff. A very good experience, well worth a solid 4 stars in my view. We really enjoyed our dinner there.
Nice recommended this place to every one
So exciting to be BACK after the long lockdown, and we were all finding our feet again, I think. A few little hiccups were very efficiently dealt with and smoothed over by the front of house team, and we were made to feel very special and well looked-after. Thank you for a lovely evening, back in the world!
Average at best. Over attentive service and wine pouring. Confusing unclear menu. Great bread. Food decent.
Delicious seasonal food, we will be sure to return as soon as possible. Highly recommend
All excellent. Wonderful service. Wonderful venue. Thanks.
Really nice experience and appreciated the outdoor heating and blankets as it got very cold! Thank you
Booked a table for lunch with friends the first weekend restaurants were able to open for outdoor dining post lockdown. It was a sunny day and we enjoyed a marvellous lunch outside facing Pall Mall. The food was delicious and the service excellent, and we weren't rushed off our table so stayed there for hours drinking cocktails and catching up. Quite pricey but for a celebratory occasion it's worth the spend.
We had a great experience, the menu is very interesting and food was delicious.
The wine list is ample and the wines we selected were very good.
A mid week lunchtime outing. With the pending change in Tier level we felt it's now or maybe next year. The following the day the place was forced to close. A spacious room, tables well spaced ... ideal under Covid rules. We opted for the Festive menu, five courses: pate, fish, venison, mouth cleanser and a chocolate melt in the middle pudding. The food was well presented, more than adequate portion sizes, staff very friendly. A very enjoyable lunch.
Great evening and attentive service, without being obstructive. Food was amazing and the recommendations spot on.
