The restaurant is high class and well presented. The staff professional. However the quirky british food didn’t work for me. Price for quality was not so great in my opinion.

Quite a makeover for Balycon. It is a beautiful restaurant and has a lovely new feel to it. Food is almost good. Nice VFM.

Superb food. Wonderful food. Friendly, expert and relaxed staff.

It is a shame that there is extraordinarily distracting muzak piped through the restaurant, giving the impression of being in an airport lounge. More than a shame - given the quality of the kitchen, it is a tragedy.

Service was good. The decor was good and it was not difficult to hear each other speak. It would be useful to have a tray of reading glasses as menu tupe was small. The hotel is really nice and a drink pre dinner there would have been good.
The fish dishes were all excellent. Try the sardines, eel and seabass were really good. The boullabaisse was done with white fish. No shellfish in it but was still good. Could be shared. The beef and lamb were cooked perfectly. No complaints. There was a strange chef surprise which was like a full meal. So we should not have ordered any sides. Don't forget to check your bill at the end of the meal! Just in case! All together a good night out. We would visit again.

Had a great time while visiting central London at the Wild Honey - fantastic restaurant with attentive staff and an exquisite menu, and their lunchtime menu was quite reasonable for a three course meal. We are only in London for a week but might go back for a second time!

I took my partner here for his birthday meal and it was not as special a venue as I thought. The food was quite mediocre given the prices; we have eaten in many restaurants in this price range and experienced much better quality. The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful though.

When I made the reservation I was told that background music would be barely audible. In fact it was quite loud rock music: totally unsuitable for a high end restaurant in my opinion. There was not a single vegetarian dish on the main courses menu: very poor for a good restaurant in 2019! One vegetable dish was forgotten when dishes were brought out. Service was excellent, and non veggie dishes were good. When bill came my party divided it. My American friend asked where she should add service and was not told that it was included in bill. I had to point that out, otherwise waiter would have allowed her to add a tip to a bill that already had service added. That's sharp practice.
Overall a very different experience from dining at previous venue, which was more pleasant in every respect.

Perfectly fine experience, but those who are expecting Anthony Demetre’s cooking (as I was) as it was at Wild Honey on Hanover Square (r.i.p) will be disappointed. This is a good hotel corporate restaurant - but not a superb restaurant as his own used to be.

Such a lovely spot for lunch! Extremely welcoming wonderful to the little kids with us, great food, lashings of bread anf a sweet treat at the end with coffee. Food range of wines, great for our price range and no sign of pretentiousness at all! Couldn't have been more chuffed with the kind and patient service.

My first visit, and I was seeking a somewhat more powerful impression than what we received, bearing in mind the reputation of your sister restaurant and the quality and location of the hotel.
Perhaps the most telling element was the relative lack of attentiveness of the staff and their apparent inexperience compared to what one would expect .
My guests found the bench seating to be low relative to the height of the table which made eating somewhat awkward.
All-in-all we left a little under-whelmed.

Table was available.
One sat ignored by wait staff.
Had to get up to ask for menu and coffee.
Food was mediocre but poor when considering price. In reality this is a hotel breakfast not a restaurant breakfast.
Hotel staff doing an average performance.
Several times hearing dropped cutlery and broken glasses.
Avoid.

We went to Wild Honey in its prior location in Mayfairmany times over many years. It was a beloved restaurant for us. We were looking forward to trying it in its new location when we visited London. We thought the new interior was lovely and the food was as delicious and well prepared as ever. However, the service was nothing like as professional and attentive as it had been in the past. We had an assortment of servers none of whom seemed to be focused on our table. The worst problem was that, once we had eaten our entrée, we were totally ignored. It was a very long time before anyone took away our plates and no one ever offered us a dessert menu. We became tired of waiting and simply flagged someone down to ask for our bill. We paid and left and no one even asked if we had wished to have dessert. I think that significant attention needs to be paid to regaining their past standard of attentive service.

The service both in the bar and the main restaurant was outstanding. Friendly and knowledgable staff who made recommendations based on asking a few straightforward questions about our preferences. Loved the cocktail, wine and starters (we had cace e pepo and sardines). We had the bouillabaisse for main, normally my food heaven. It was ok flavour-wise but I was expecting better and more generous amounts of fish and shellfish based on a review I’d read. It had gone a bit cool by the time we went for our second scoop of soup - cast iron may have been more practical if not as pretty as the copper pans they’d served it in.
I was delighted with the Birthday petit fours which arrived at the end of our evening 😊

The lunch time menu was very limited and I would recommend that it is reviewed before booking as the options were not main stream. The mains menu included octopus and eel or mackerel or sea bass which looked farmed . It was pretentious and expensive and not to my taste. The ambiance was good and staff pleasant and efficient

Have been to this restaurant many times before when it was the balcon. Loved that restaurant. Visited wild honey for the 1st time to celebrate my wife's birthday. A little disappointed. Food was nice but value for money was poor. Service was very slow. The restaurant was very busy so that may well have been the reason. The staff were pleasant but the popularity of the restaurant has effected the service. We ordered 2 mains and 2 sides. That came to over £100. Not really great value for money. Wouldn't go again sadly. Bring back the balcon!

Have been an Arbutus fan since they first opened in Soho. So very excited that they re-opened their doors.

The price was steep if you go a la carte and the portion was small.

Starters were nice. We had smoked eel and pig head.

However, mains were disappointing. We had the Marseilles sea food. A small pot for over £30. The broth was a bit bitter. The fish was blend and cold.

We ended up spending over £60 each for two courses without drinks.

A bit disappointed.
