    We received a lovely warm welcome and the reception staff seemed genuinely interested in us. We were quickly shown to very comfortable seats and a nice table and we were given lots of attention. The head chef, Anthony, came to chat to us as he knew our daughter from her days as a chef in London. That made the visit extra special. The food was excellent with timely service and a very pleasant and enjoyable evening all round.

    My partner and I had the pre-theatre menu. I was quite satisfied with my choices, but my partner’s first course, pain perdu with vegetables, was bland and uninteresting. Even worse, the English camembert was overly ripe instead of a pleasant creamy taste. The servers were less professional than I expected. When brushing away the crumbs after the first two courses, the waiter mixed up the water glasses, so we lost track of whose glass belonged to whom

    Beautiful, tasty food with so much flavour and depth. Attentive and friendly staff, all very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Loved the little personal touches too that we found as it was a birthday meal.

    Took my husband for a birthday meal on a Friday evening. We were greeted by friendly and polite staff. We were early so had a cocktail at the bar. These were both £16 and £18 each and were absolutely tiny…! But tasted nice and were expertly made by the friendly bar staff. Our main meal was delicious, chicken and scallop to start, venison and rabbit for main, cheesecake and ice cream to finish. We enjoyed every mouthful. My only criticism is the extortionate price for the food and wine - and this will be the only reason why we likely won’t return. It’s a shame you have to pay such a huge amount for great food - but that’s the way of the world these days! I did notice there was a cheaper option for early/pre-theatre menu. So we may come back one day to try that. Overall we really enjoyed it and will recommend it to friends and family. Thank you!

    Very pedestrian menu. Amateurish service bordering on rude (“your food will be ready when it is ready”), red wine served at room temperature, and very poorly dressed crowd including lots of sweatshirts and sweatpants.

    Went for pre-theatre meal. The food was delicious - very light and fresh. Very reasonable set menu for £40. It was also my friend’s birthday so they provided some extra dessert which was a lovely touch. Service was very friendly and attentive. Overall great experience, would recommend

    Fantastic meal with incredibly good value early dinner, pre Theatre. Three courses which were all beautifully presented and tasty. Vicky, who waited , was one of the best waitresses ever! I wound highly recommend to anybody wanting high class Michelin starred cuisine in london!

    Style over substance with an overpriced menu. Starters had broken bones in, main courses came out cold and overall the food lacked the attention to detail that you would expect at this level. The description on the booking for saturday night was a tasting menu but we were only presented with a set menu that seems very pricey and uninteresting compared to alternatives in London. Our server was nice but we didn’t even get an apology for the broken bones that were very off putting and a potential choke hazard. Would look elsewhere for a good meal in London.

    We had a fabulous meal here before heading to the theatre. I would thoroughly recommend a visit , the food and service was 5 star. Our waitress Vicky was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly and really welcoming. We will definitely visit again

    The food, service, and ambiance were all first class. Definitely earned its Michelin Star. And our server, Vicky was great throughout! Don't miss out on the Ice Cream with fresh backed madeleines!

    Disappointing- we went to Wild Honey in it’s first incarnation a few years ago and it felt like a Michelin starred restaurant. This time the food seemed more like really good pub food. The service was ok for a regular restaurant but not what you would expect at a Michelin starred restaurant at the price point being charged. Overall we had an enjoyable evening but didn’t feel it was value for money compared to previous experiences

    From first to last, this was an exceptional dining experience. The wait staff was knowledgeable and extremely helpful, while not being stuffy. We visited for lunch and initially thought that we would order a la carte rather that choosing the set menu; however, the choices for the set menu were excellent and we were not disappointed. The lamb was cooked perfectly and delicious (a nice sized portion, too), which the starter and dessert complimented well. Wine was good quality and reasonably priced. Overall, we were very impressed with Wild Honey and look forward to another visit.

    We went to Wild Honey for their pre-theatre menu and had a wonderful time! We were served by Vicky who was brilliant - she was very friendly and knowledgeable (and recommended a great wine to go with our meal). The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food is delicious. We will be returning again soon!

    The ambience was not special or what I would expect from a Michelin star restaurant - it was far too bright and the music was strange, the waiting times between courses was very excessive, and a lack of attention from waiting staff during that time. The food was ok, but extremely expensive for what it was and overall I feel very disappointed with the experience from a Michelin start restaurant.

    Beautiful setting. Attentive, faultless staff. Gorgeous bread and amuse bouche. I was concerned as my starter wasn’t great. Onion and black pudding, but it was more like leeks with sludge of liquid pâté. It was missing something - some sweetness, such as caramelising the onions or fruit? Or saltiness, bacon or lardons? They also gave me a steak knife to cut it which was worrying as I didn’t feel an onion should need a steak knife. It did, and annoyingly the knife was blunt and awful. Luckily, the food for main course was much better. The chicken fricassee and venison were both delicious. Thankfully the venison was so tender it didn’t require a sharp knife, which was fortunate as the knife my husband was given the same poor quality. The puddings were perfect. For a birthday extra they gave us a canelé, surrounded by petit four. The petite four were spot on, but the canelé was burnt on the outside, not caramelised, but burnt. Good wine list and serve by glass, carafe or bottle. Staff were lovely. We would return.

    Excellent dishes at high prices; plates could have been kept hotter to help the food retain heat. Polite service. The only disappointment on this latest visit was to be seated next to a mirror ( that needed a really good clean), which rested on a shelf that was covered in dust. At the prices we were being charged for lunch a La carte , there was no excuse for this (we did point it out to staff).

    What a wonderful pre theatre meal we had here. The food was pronominal (especially the choux bun!) and Vicky who gave us amazing attentive and friendly service - would highly recommend and we will be back!

    Not much atmosphere and food was not what I expected. If compared to say Marcus - Marcus was amazing and a place I desire to go back to. Wild Honey was just not special.
