This has been one of the best experiences I've had in london so far. It was my graduation lunch. We went at a time when things where quiet as they were preparing for the dinner service. It was the most incredible lunch my service we ever had!

It is a very nice place but not lively on Friday nights.
Food is fine - what is to expect at that price.
For the overall cost, I do not think its worth it, also my wine glass came a little dirty..
Staff is friendly and polite, no complaints on that part.

Location was fabulous, just a short walk from the National Gallery. We had a good welcome and were given a choice of where to sit. We chose a quiet table as we were catching up with friends. The cod was delicious but our guest was not enamoured with the rabbit cottage pie. Desserts were spot on but unfortunately there were no crackers to go with our guest’s cheese, just bread which she does not eat. Despite this we very much enjoyed our lunch and will come again.

Delicious food and good atmosphere - definitely would return. However, they were very slow in giving us our wine - took 25 mins! Tables are too close together. Staff were charming and very helpful.

I used to love The Balcon and Wild Honey continues the fine reputation. Beautiful food, a lovely ambience and wonderful service. The staff even went to the effort of creating a special menu for my girlfriend to cater for her many allergies. A great evening.

We have eaten in this same restaurant several times over the years but this was the first time we had visited it in its latest re-incarnation as the Wild Honey St James. Whilst I was initially a little disappointed to see that the interior décor had changed (the balcony which gave it its previous name is no longer there) the quality of the food and the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff more than make up for it. The menu was innovative and tempting (we would have happily ordered any of the dishes on offer), the cuisine exquisite and the service excellent. I strongly recommend it.

Fabulous meal in new and beautifully redecorates home next to the Sofitel. The food was as always refined, sophisticated and not overly complicated, which I appreciate. The cannelés served with our tea were perfection. Cannot wait to come back

We had an excellent meal at Wild Honey. The food was precisely cooked, well presented and every dish was delicious. Service was attentive, helpful, friendly and well judged. The venue is in an excellent central location and the bar was just perfect to sit in before and after the meal. Can’t fault it and we would both happily go back.

We went to Wild Honey is the newly refurbished restaurant in the Sofitel which used to be the Balcon. Lots of the elements that we loved from the Balcon have gone: the service is stripped back, the floor has been raised so that high ceilings are less high, the walls are painted dark, the table isn’t set, the balcony has been covered... some people will like Wild Honey, but we miss the Balcon.

Thoroughly recommended! We had some friends visiting and wanted to take them some where that would stand out from the plethora of London restaurants and Wild Honey was a great decision.

It has a great menu and the quality of the food was excellent. Service was also of a very high standard especially from our waiter, Guillaume, who was both knowledgeable about the food as well as the range of wines on offer, including some delicious English wine form Westwell.

And when finished eating, pop through the curtain for a great cocktail in the adjacent bar.

Very enjoyable experience, but the service was a bit rushed. I had just received my aperitif when my starter arrived, and no sooner had I finished my delightful starter, my main arrived.
Wonderfully friendly and engaging staff made my visit.
The next time I’m in London I will certainly consider a return visit.

This is our first visit since it was previously Le Balcon.
The ambience and general feeling of wellbeing in a very calm restaurant in the heart of St James is truly excellent.
The staff are real helpful and welcoming and above all professional.
The choice and quality is second to none and extremely great value.
We would highly recommend Wild Honey

Anthony Demetre has managed to take the best of his old Wild Honey venue in Mayfair, and bring it to a great location in Sofitel on Pall Mall. We had a great meal on Fri evening, it is very reasonably priced for high end cuisine in central London and we will definitely return soon...

I almost never give 5 stars. But here it is: I just had a 5 star meal and experienced 5 star service. Thoroughly enjoyed the octopus appetizer and the rabbit main course. Folks from the US don't often see rabbit on the menu but I urge you to try it. So delicious here at Wild Honey. My husband had the pork cheeks appetizer and lamb main course. Also delicious. The service was impeccable and the space was beautiful and perfect for enjoying a special night out.

The smoked haddock starter was delicious with lots of tasty flavours. The plaice main had too many bones which took away from the taste. The lamb shoulder main was very fatty but tasty nonetheless (once all the fat was removed). We got some chips on the side and this was a bit over fried for my liking. For dessert we went for the coconut pannacotta and chocolate mousse, both were excellent!

The service was impeccable, attentive waiters and waitresses who were only too happy to go through the menu or recommend a dish.

We would definitely return once The Balcon reopens after its renovation.

We could not fault this restaurant at all. The service was excellent and the food outstanding, if anything the food came much more quickly than we expected but that is nothing to complain about. I also thought it was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend going here and will definitely go back.
