Wildfire - Tysons
Nice restaurant with a large varied menu. Located in shopping center so it was a casual environment.
Seafood was outstanding. Prime rib prepared as ordered
Rating if possible was 4.5
Poor service, average food, high prices, way too much noise. Why would I go back ?
60th birthday lunch
Nice place for brunch with great choices. I will definitely return!
Great ambiance, kid friendly, great food and reasonable cost. Also in the mall where our hotel is making it super convenient. Thanks!
We always were happy with Wildfire, and have been there about 3 times before our latest visit--and it's been a while since they are across the Potomac for us (we are in Maryland). It seems that they have picked up their game and gone from very good to excellent. I had the haddock and it was the best I have ever had; the mashed potatoes were also prepared in an excellent manner. Prices are reasonable and the value is outstanding. Always make reservations.
The beef Wellington was way over cooked. The waiter never came by to ask us if we needed anything. We had to get a different server to bring us our check.
Our server was great Awesome !
We have been this restaurant over 10 years and will definitely continue to come.
I had an amazing time the first time I came here a couple years ago for a Christmas party. The food was amazing and everyone had a good time.
I decided to go back for my wife’s bday. The server was nice, but a little bit difficult to find at times. I order the lamb and she ordered the most expensive steak on the menu. I wasn’t thrilled with the flavor of my lamb. Basically, it was lacking. Her steak was slightly better. Definitely not worth the amount we paid for it. The side veggies and mushroom caps were outstanding. Best part of the meal. The server came by pretty often in the beginning of our meal and refilled our Ice Teas often, but disappeared towards the end when I was looking for the check. We were hoping to make it to the movies, but we missed it because of the wait. (In fairness, we came in around 8:30pm and he was probably doing his side work on this slow night)
The server did bring us a beautiful ice cream and berries dessert as a bday gift free if charge. That was a very nice surprise! Unfortunately, we were both eating low carb and could not partake.
Overall, very nice place with good service. The food wasn’t as great as I remembered it to be, but we didn’t have a “bad” time. I think it was a good time if I wasn’t so disappointed by my lamb. I will probably give this place another chance, but not anytime soon as I don’t typically frequent expensive steakhouses that often.
Overall was pretty good. A good place to try once.
Great service and food
My server Crystal was awesome. Amazing service and really attentive. The food was ok. The rockfish was kind of dry and bland. Definitely will skip that the next time I come. Carrot cake was delicious.
Overall Five Stars. In regard to my noting the noise level as moderate, I will say that when we started our meal it was early and obviously very quiet. During the course of our meal I remember looking over and being surprised to see every table filled because the noise volume had not increased in a way that required us to make adjustments to be able to continue our conversation.
The server is in hurry and was going to give me the check and I was eating. She tries to hide the check. Then she gave me the check right away. It made me feel like rush.
The wildfire grill always does a good business lunch....they are awesome!
The food is always delicious here and the service top notch. It's a bit on the expensive side, but with the portions they provide, you can get by with splitting a steak and a salad or soup. Definitely sit in the main room. The booths in the narrow hallway are quieter but not as fun.
Great 1st Impression overall for this restaurant! Food was very good as was service! Will add this to our list of favorites for special occasions.
The food in general was great with the exception of the au gratin potatoes. Mine were bland and my friends were overly seasoned ... the cheese there but tasteless for both.
Wildfire is a great restaurant, with great food. The 3 course meal is a real plus. I enjoyed every bite. And the cornbread is something to look forward to.
We had a great time on Sunday night at Galleria's Wildfire. Big, interesting menu. Very good food. We had a wonderful waiter. We were able to get a quiet table. It was an excellent dinner and dining experience. We will be back!
Food excellent as always with lots of choices. Srver was terrific. Personable and attentive.
Always superb! Wildfire never fails to deliver a special dining experience—no matter how many times I go!
Good food at a reasonable price.
Ambiance was great and free- no charge! 😀
Terrific multi-generational family lunch at Wildfire. Had a nice, quiet booth--essential with senior citizens who have hearing loss. Attentive but not overwhelming service. Delicious food in ample portions; several of us have take-home boxes for lunch tomorrow. Nice variety of regular lunch and brunch offerings on the weekend menu. Definitely will bring the family back for more!
Thank you . our waitress was very polite and nice . We enjoyed our lunch !
A frequent customer of this Tyson's location and LTE. Also a frequent victim of the grill chef (this has happened before at Tyson's). Once again the meat was requested rare but served medium. Once again my guest ate their meal while I watched because I had to flag down wait staff to send my meat back to be recooked and then wait for my meal to be returned to me. BY the time I got my main course back (bone in rib eye) my guest was almost done.
Apologies but no consideration other than an offer of dessert which we don't ever order. Asked for them to pick up the few glasses of wine which they did not do..gave us a small credit which wasn't adequate consideration for the inconvenience and poor customer experience at Wildfire Tyson's.
Would have preferred that a professional steak house get the steak right the first time so the only thing I needed to worry about was eating the steak.
Unfortunately their cooking vents were not working so the menu was very limited that day.
We throughly enjoyed the food and service. Birthday celebration went off without a hitch
We were seated in the bar area instead of the dining room. The bartenders were really loud talking amongst themselves and with those seated at the bar. The food was excellent and our server was fantastic but the noise level and the bartenders’ total disregard for the atmosphere ruined the meal.
Nice atmosphere and excellent food. Unique setting - dining and super club setting.
I have been to Wildfire on several occasions and each time my experience have been excellent. Great food, drinks, and service. Thank you for a pleasant experience each time I have dined at Wildfire.
Such an affordable place, especially in Galleria. Great ambience and a quality meal for $15 makes this place so worth it
You’re paying for location and ambience. Steaks are underwhelming and plain.
A visit to Wildfire is always great! On this visit, the ambience and service were superb as usual. However, my meal was not up to the high standard that I have to expect at Wildfire. My almond crusted halibut was very dry and over cooked, by I will be back.
We were terribly disappointed. We were seated in a small back room where the lights flickered in and off the entire evening. Our food was not the best. The crab cakes were not true lump meat and the potatoes were cold and runny. My husband’s steak had more marble than meat. While we’ve dined here a number of times in the past, our past two visits were less than stellar. Will not return after this experience.
We had a wonderful father's day dinner at Wildfire. The food and service were excellent!
The food was very good and the waitress was very attentive. The corn bread was hot and to die for :) .
Great service.... but our food was cold... busy Father’s Day brunch
Was excited to take my family and future in-laws here for Father's Day. While the service was good and friendly, our food was subpar. It all came out either cold or mildly warm. When mentioned to the server/a manager, they offered to warm it up but it was a hassle to have our party of 9 have all our food taken back so we just dealt with it. They were kind enough to comp 2 of the dishes that were especially not hot, but I was not impressed with my steak overall either unfortunately. I had hoped that for the price and service, the food would be equally good/of value, but we all left slightly disappointed in the food quality.
While we had a great waitress and the manager was attentive, we had several issues with our experience (which was our first, for fathers day). The wait for our food was very long. When it finally arrived, the bone in the mixed grill was so big, that getting any meat out of it was nearly impossible. Additionally, the pork in the mixed grill was very dry. Two of the salads we ordered were drenched in dressing, making anything but the top layer inedible. My daughter complained that the chicken on her caesar salad was too charred and didn't taste good. There were some high points to the meal. The tenderloin on my salad was very tasty, and my husband liked his burger. Additionally, the filet that accompanied the mixed grill was apparently very tasty, as was the cornbread which started off our meal. After complaints, the staff was great in not charging us for some parts of the meal, which was appreciated. However, I don't think I'd recommend others try this restaurant, because it is too much of a gamble as far as the quality of the food.
