Woburn Place Dining Room
The conservatory was closed for a seminar and we were not warned before. We were asked to confirm booking one day before but no mentioning of the conservatory not been available. We were asked to dine in the bar area which we refused. We then were offered a seat in the conservatory but with no dining table, just a table for a drink so not the best to eat. Service took really long even to place the order, the food was very basic and so is the menu. Really not worth the money. Very disappointing. Absoloutely no commercial gesture was made which for a Hilton is giving a really bad image.
Restaurant was closed and we were forced to eat in the bar.
Hilton had booked the restaurant out for an event so the OpenTable booking was utterly useless. We were given a table in the bar area which was fine but I won't be using OpenTable again.
Unfortunately, the Dining Room was closed for renovation, no mention on the website here. So we got offered a table in the bar area, with no compensation such as drinks or free snacks. Quite a difference from the Victorian windowed ceiling, to a carpeted area with short stools. The staff in the bar however were impeccable and helped to create a enjoyable evening.
