The food was very good but I have to say the service was outstanding. I had the squid for starters which was ok. We had a sirloin steak and peppercorn sauce, blackened salmon both of which were cooked to perfection and top quality. We had to ask if the fish was farmed but it wasn't so I made a suggestion that this should be highlighted on the menu as it is a major plus and we wouldn't ever eat farmed. All the sides were gorgeous. We did not need dessert. The quality of the wine in the bar and restaurant was very good too. I tried both the Shiraz and Malbec and preferred the latter. Both served at correct temperature. The staff throughout the hotel were amazing, very attentive without being overbearing and not stuffy. In fact they created a very relaxed atmosphere and didn't drop the ball once. I would highly recommend the hotel and the Wolf Grill and will definitely be back

Booked a table for 5 people to celebrate a few events including Father’s Day. A nice setting and a nicely laid out table. The food was very good, if expensive. The main issue I would is the very slow service it was nearly 30 minutes after arriving that our order was taken. No drinks order taken before which would have been a nice start to the meal . Also, bearing mind the cost having also to pay for parking seems a bit much.

Not a lot of options for non fish eaters, there was no roast of the day left even though offered initially. Did offer apology. Sides are extra costs, even though meal not on cheap side for what you receive. What we did have was delicious.

Genuinely one of the nicest meals my wife and I have had in a long time. Sirloin was fantastic! Service was excellent and the setting is awesome. So many interesting things to look at and read.

Food was outstanding, dining and other surrounding areas where beautifully decorated & very in theme. Although staff where friendly & approcable, service was extremely slow both in the bar & dining area.

Lovely, friendly restaurant with a good choice of dishes. Staff were a credit to the restaurant and hotel. So helpful & attentive. The food we had was lovely, and freshly prepared. And service was very good, not too fast and not too slow! One small thing is the decor - the tyre lights?? And rope writing? Did not seem in keeping with the rest of the hotel & bars. May be a refresh!

The food was quite nice but overpriced for what it really was. The service was pretty poor, we ordered 2 x glasses of wine, one of which the waiter later discovered was out of stock, so he came back and took an order for a different wine which was no fault of his. However, my starter arrived - still no wine (my wine was in stock). I finished my starter - still no wine for either of us. Wine finally came along with our main courses, - no cutlery ( I had to grab some from the free table next to us as the waiter was long gone). My wife had Steak - no steak knife. We had to keep grabbing the attention of the waiting staff for basic things. Service needs to improve and even at that I still think it is overpriced.

First time visiting this hotel and restaurant. Lovely decor and nice space. Food was good but service not so good. We ordered drinks on arrival and even after asking several different waiters we had finished our starters and mains and drinks still hadn’t arrived. When they eventually did arrive one of the drinks was wrong so had to be taken away again. After another wait we were told the hotel had run out of Malbec wine which was on the wine menu - so another wait for a beer. Then I ordered a calypso coffee which when ordered in other restaurants is made with Tia Maria - this was made with rum and it was like drinking pure warm rum. Tried to stir to incorporate coffee - no spoon given so had to use knife! However still no coffee taste. Unfortunately I don’t like rum so left most of that. So not a great experience and to add to this we were going to a show so had to leave quickly before curtain up. We had been going for a relaxed evening out and I do think had there but less waiting times we might have had just that!

Firstly I would like to question the people that leave negative reviews on the service and time it takes for food to be served. The service was outstanding and the staff could not be more professional and helpful. The time for service should appease customers as it means you are assured your order is prepared fresh, are you people more used to a Wetherspoons meal where the microwave and precooked food is the chef’s specialty. To review our experience is simple, the service and meal were of a high standard and complimentary quality to the venue. I would have no problem returning nor recommending to those whom enjoy a nice atmosphere and high quality service.
