    A must for past diners who used to eat here. Back to its old days but better. Great menu polite and well presented staff. Quick and efficient service. Prices very reasonable for the fantastic food available and service.

    An excellent roast Sunday lunch with delicious starters. Certainly a cut above some of the other gastropubs we have eaten at. Also great service with a smile and very accommodating for our Labrador.

    The beer certainly has not travelled far! The menu has a good variety and the food we ordered was very good. Servers were attentive. The ambience of the main restaurant is excellent. A little noisy as there were two large parties in. Would recommend highly.

    Enjoyable experience EXCEPT that we were given a table with inadequate lighting; our shadows masked the food we were eating. We asked if we could change tables but we're told all other tables were taken. This turned out to be untrue as several tables remained unused for the whole 2 plus hours we were there.

    The meal itself was very nice but was dampened after our dog was attacked seconds after entering the door by a Labrador on an extension lead. Is difficult for the restaurant to legislate this scenario but perhaps review of well behaved dogs policy needs to be reviewed. Unfortunately our King Charles Spaniel is still recovering from being attacked a few months back so wasn’t ideal and made the occasion a little tense for us.

    We came for Monday pie and a pint night. The pies were fantastic and we were able to taste a few of the many beers available before making our choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly and having eaten there we received a 10% discount on our purchases from the brewery shop. Well worth a visit.

    Food well cooked and presented, staff friendly and helpful. However the venue experience is badly let down by the state of the toilets, the mirrors were grubby, pipe coverings missing. Looked very run down and in need of refurbishment.

    Excellent Food. Great Beer. The pub is extremely pleasant. We did a brewery tour then ate at 3:30 when it was a quiet time between lunch and dinner. It looked very busy at lunchtime even on a November weekend so would definitely reserve a table. I can imagine it would be exceedingly busy in the summer looking at the number of outside tables. The staff were very good. I would return and recommend anyone to give it a try.

    Second time dining here, food s good but I think they don't check properly the orders in the kitchen. We've got mussels with garlic bread instead of mussels with fries and salad :D you would say it's not a big deal, but dessert is supposed to be berry fruit cheesecake and caramel cheesecake was served instead. Advice: check they deliver the right thing ordered, The staff is great and will go back and sort it out.

    We all enjoyed our meals . We did not have room for dessert . Staff were very polite and helpful. Amazing outside space although too cold for us to sit outside this time. Will definitely visit again

    Amazing food and service to match! The roasts were delicious and the jam sponge for dessert was the perfect way to finish on a cold day. Thanks to the waiting staff who were all friendly, especially to our little boy.

    Bar staff excellent and informative about ales. Table staff less so. No one asked if our meal was okay, no one asked if we wanted pudding. Good overpriced for what it is. £17.50 for a roast is excessive.

    Waited for over an hour for food which was not served at the same time which wasn’t great The burgers were overcooked somewhat . The room was cold and a bit too dark in the corner . Toilets need a makeover too. The Staff seemed rushed and lacked experience but were very pleasant .

    We booked a table for 6 for my daughters 7th birthday. We were disappointed that menu choice was very limited and even more disappointed at the amount of time it took for food to be prepared. We waited an hour between our starter and main course and when it did come the chips were cold. We decided against desert simply for the waiting time. Such a disappointment as when have visited during the week the service and food were great.

    Was very disappointed with the food over cooked and very greasy wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going back for food. I was very disappointed as was looking forward to eating at the Fur and Feathers. The only plus as always the beer was good.

    The food was good but we had to wait over an hour for it. To be fair we complained and received some money off the bill, but it would have been good to have been updated on the delay rather than us having to chase.

    My recent visit to this restaurant left much to be desired. We ordered a super food salad, enticed by the menu's promise of red cabbage, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and red onion, only to be sorely disappointed when these key ingredients were conspicuously absent. To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for the portion sizes, leaving our wallets feeling much lighter. The slow service added an extra layer of frustration to the overall experience. While we did enjoy the selection of alcohol on offer unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our disappointing visit.
