I love everything about this place. Wonder atmosphere, food and service.
Great food and service - exceptional experience and knowledgeable staff
Food was very tasty and there were at least three more entrees I would like to try. The service was lack luster as I felt there were a few times I wanted to order drinks or update my entree and no one was around. My party and myself stayed until closing and I appreciate not being rushed.
Food was too salty
Greasy bacon, very loud. Wine was good but expensive. Better options in Chelsea.
My friend and I enjoyed the delicious watermelon and feta salad and I chose the red snapper special - both were tasty and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and lovely ambience.
Limited but diverse menu with very tasty combinations. The wild boat was excellent. Vary amiable staff.
Staff and food were fantastic. The outdoor seating was so gorgeously decorated, it made you feel you weren't in the city, save for the crazy bike crossing. Look both ways!
Amazing atmosphere inside. The steak and halibut were delicious!
Really enjoyed eating at Worthwild. The drinks, blood orange mimosas, were very good. We also had the avocado toast with 2 poached eggs which was very good. My only complaint was that the toast was too crunchy, too hard. It took some work to cut the toast with a knife and then to eat it! Otherwise it would have been perfect! We also had the cornbread with the chocolate sauce which was very good. The waiter was wonderful, (sorry I didn't get his name) very personable and accomodating.
Yesterday I came here for brunch, after a fantastic recent dinner at this same restaurant. The omelette was delicious and the experience was wonderful. This place truly is the definition of "neighborhood gem". Very very very good.
Excellent food and service . The staff was very friendly.
Very nice place with excellent service and very good food.
Love worthwild the food is always great and service is unbeatable. Everyone who works here is a pleasure and they have great cocktails!
Last chance for outdoor dining! Great special soup (Cioppino)
Very delicious food. Extra good drinks!
We had a delicious brunch! We will be back soon.
Food is solid for neighborhood drop in cafe for brunch. Nothing special but hearty and food serving size. Note the bacon and eggs don’t come on toast you have to order separately. Coffee is drip only so if you want cappuccino/latte or anything fancy don’t come here. Service was very slow (>half hour wait for food) but friendly and warm. La Grainne close by in the same Chelsea neighborhood is better value and more choice.
Great music, great wine , great ambiance, great Bartender Brian!
We had such a great time! Food and drinks were amazing! Definitely recommend
Delicious. Great environment. Superb service. And best cocktails. I highly recommend!
Nice back room. Not too loud. Octopus, duck, trout, short ribs were all very good. All desserts excellent. Service was attentive, helpful and fun.
We were late and wasn't a problem, which I appreciated. Nice ambience. There is plenty of room and would have been good for kids too (there were several people there with babies). Found myself wishing for a few more options on the brunch menu but what was there was very good. Homemade pastries were excellent! Would definitely go back.
My new go-to brunch spot in Chelsea. Nice and quiet, great food, bright and airy space, lovely server. Not a scene (which is a good thing).
Loved our first time at Worthwild! Pleasantly surprised not just by how good the food was, also by the ambiance and our server! Jennings is THE BEST! Will definitely be back :)
I liked my first dining experience at Worthwild. Its a nice, warm space. Service was excellent, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Our meal was very good, I would say the trout was slightly overcooked for my taste, though my friend thought it was fine, but still on point and great flavors. Baby lettuce salad was a simple and fresh with the best ingredients. What rocked my world was the dessert. We had the warm Gateau Basque that was the most tender almond cake with a lovely citrus center, served with Creme Fraiche. It was heaven. I will definitely be back and excited to try other things on their menu.
The service, drinks, and service were great. Got the burger though which was probably a mistake. It was mostly forgettable. Date got the steak and she also felt like it was just okay. Nothing to write home about. And for the cost, really nothing exceptional. A good spot to grab drinks, but I’d skip dinner next time around.
Great ambience, excellent service, delicious food.
Good happy hour oysters and drinks. Excellent service. Enjoyed trout.
Love this place. Great food. Neighborhood vibe. Amazing service.
love this place! everything on the menu is delicious and the vibe is great. the late night menu is also a nice option if you’re nearby and missed dinner time seating.
Fun menu and great service. Would go, again.
When we first entered Worthwild on a Saturday night at 6:30pm, the bar was rollicking. Wall to wall people enjoying themselves. The host graciously led us through the crowd(excellent first impression!) to the relatively quieter dining room in the back, where our table awaited.
Service is as good as it gets~attentive, friendly, and professional.
I ordered the roasted(?) artichokes which were delicious (warning: some of the outer leaves are extra sharp. do not swallow those)
Fries are A +. Dining partner ordered the roasted chicken with a side of whipped fontina(?) potatoes. He relished every single bite.
Would definitely return.
I first dined at Worthwild for brunch, fell in love with the duck fat potatoes, so decided to bring my friends for dinner. We enjoyed a veritable feast of potted crab, duck fat potatoes, beef short rib in broth, a sizzling steak, and a duck leg special. Everything was perfect and the service was warm and friendly. I’ll prob be back for brunch tomorrow!
Love this place! A great addition to the neighborhood.
Terrific small dishes and sharing plates. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He made our experience so much better. The noise level was manageable until about 7:30 when the bar filled up with revelers. But this is NYC, so we’re used to it!
our waiter was very helpful, friendly and attentive. happy hour wine is only one rose which kinda forces you to order cocktails or wines from the list which are much more expensive. good, but expensive. small plate and appetizers were very interesting with many choices. large plates/entrees were more limited, with many meat/pork dishes and less fish/chicken. dessert was home made ice cream, yum, but small and not as filled with the goodies as we thought it would be. nonetheless, i would return, but know to expect high prices and lots of meat!
The menu is very limited, but the scallop dish was very good and service was excellent. However, the butternut squash small plate could have used a lot more squash and less lettuce. Unlikely I will go back.
Worthwild is a great addition to the neighborhood! The bar upfront is a good local meeting spot. The restaurant in the back is a nice, comfortable place to have dinner. The food was solid and the service was lovely. It's the kind of "go to"place I'll think of for a weeknight meet up with friends.
Pleasant, calm interior, knowledgeable staff and delicious drinks.
