Food was amazing. Fish main was sold out but vegetarian alternative was great. Desserts were amazing esp the Chou pastry with espresso ice cream.
Obviously a very busy night to eat in Wreckfish as it was the last night before lock down but staff remained courteous and friendly.
Amazing birthday meal pre lockdown. Food was outstanding. Staff still smiling. Wine was fabulous. Gary Usher does it again.
Stupendous pre-lockdown meal. Love this place, their food and the people who work there.
Was recommended by a friends, exceeded all expectations. Amazing menu with exciting combination of dishes andi infredients in each, beautifully served and delicious. Excellent service friendly and helpful staff. I am a gourmet and I was in Heaven! Must go!
Excellent lunch, loved pigs head crouquette, followed by featherblade, to finish the most amazing choux bun one of the best desserts ever.
Perfect as always. It never disappoints. Will be back ASAP.
We keep coming back because it’s always perfect! See you after lockdown.
Delicious food, lovely service, friendly staff, very good price on their lunch menu. Will certainly be going back in the future!
A wonderful "last supper" before lockdown!
Very efficient and cheerful waiting staff and sublime food.
Another great meal at Wreckfish - a great imaginative menu, everything cooked perfectly and attentive service. Can't wait to see you on the other side of lockdown!
Relaxed atmosphere, attentive polite staff, excellent food as usual and competitive prices.
Varied menu from fixed price to a la carte but all reasonable and the quality is excellent.
Ambience in a restaurant that is in a city in tier three could never be amazing. I have to say the staff were delightful, masked throughout they made our time in the restaurant very enjoyable. And then there was the food, absolutely delicious. I started with white chicory and my husband with our old favourite, the cauliflower risotto- faultless. We both had the cod main course, it was outstanding. With lockdown staring us in the face we felt like we were going out on a high. Thank you to all the staff at Wreckfish for a great evening.
Outstanding food, excellent service, attention to detail in cleansing tables and surrounding areas, all in addition to great value for money.
Lovely restaurant. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Particularly the young Irish lass. Excellent food and wine some options a little bit different to the norm
We enjoyed a lovely meal and look forward to returning for seconds!
Fantastic food and staff. The blackberry pavlova in particular was incredible.
On the whole the Food was lovely tho disappointed the Yorkshire puddings were burnt, even the next ones ready for serving, so wasn’t worth asking for a replacement!
Nice place to eat but on this occasion Had the roast dinner at 2pm and the Yorkshire pudding and potatoes a bit chewy and a little overdone.
I thought the pavlova not as good as it could be (quite powdery)
Staff good and ambience nice.
Outstanding Sunday lunch. Wish I could do this every week. Will be back!
Food was amazing. Haven’t had better in Liverpool.
Efficient, attentive service - food very tasty and good value for money
Me and my husband had a lovely meal at Wreckfish. The staff were very attentive and the service was really good. We didn’t wait very long for our food or drinks. Also, the food was delicious! Will definitely go back.
A lovely meal which was very much appreciated during these difficult times
Absolutely amazing and the food was incredible. It was faultless.
Wreck fish is one of the best bistros in the North West of England, let alone Liverpool. The building is atmospheric and fascinating; the chambre privée is ideal for special occasions. The food is immensely flavourful and perfectly prepared. The waiting staff delightful in every way. I am unable to come up with a single negative.
The reception was a bit cold l requested a ground floor seating as l have a bad hip but the lady just said she hadn’t looked at my booking
The waitress was very pleasant , but the food overall was a disappointment l had been there many times before starters nice but not much presentation
main course lamb very tough and cold my husband beef was so salty he was drinking water all evening must say the pudding was delicious my other problem was how cold the room had goose bumps
Wreckfish always delivers a great experience and the food is always reliable. Staff are outstanding. Even in these difficult times it’s an uplifting outing
Absolutely amazing. The food was Devine, the service was top notch excellent and watching the chefs in the kitchen was brilliant. Well done to all staff on their distancing and amazing attention to cleanliness during COVID. It’s the best place I’ve been to. You deserve an award. Your food is fabulous and portion sizes - wow! Thank you.
This was fantastic!! Service and food were impeccable. The wine was delicious. Didn't feel rushed at all. The server was so attentive and we will absolutely be returning. Good value for money. Felt really clean and well managed.
From the moment we arrived it was perfect - service was exceptional, staff were friendly and we weren’t rushed at all. The food was delicious, from the little details like the focaccia to start and the truffles at the end, to the main meal. The portions were generous, and beautifully presented. My husband had the featherblade of beef which just melted in your bourg. I had the smoked lamb, and it was heavenly, as were the accompaniments. Dessert was equally delightful - the creme brûlée had the perfect crunch! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to visit again!!
That wonderful combination of good food, cooked well in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
You don’t really need anything else.
All staff are friendly and clearly understand how to work in the coronavirus world.
Was there for a household birthday and had a great time. We were made to feel welcome and safe. Food was great and it was nice to see that the specials menu was not just a cut down version of tha a la carte. I would have no hesitation in recommending Wreckfish to anyone.
Lovely restaurant . Following the correct covid guidelines .
Set menu good value for money
Staff very attentive
Absolutely superb from start to finish. Excellent adherence to Covid rules and every single course hit the spot. The Espresso Martini’s also added to the enjoyment. Thank you. Definitely coming back soon
The food and service is brilliant, couldn’t fault it at all.
Great restaurant, wonderful food, lovely staff.
Great meal, very relaxed setting, excellent service & food to die for.
I am a dessert person and the choux bun was incredible as well as the chocolate oblivion.
Beautiful building, amazing food and fabulous service.. highly recommend..
First time visit for my birthday and wasn't disappointed! Outstanding food and service and felt very Covid safe. Had a great night. We will be back!
I had a great meal at Wreckfish: an imaginative menu, with well-sourced ingredients and beautifully cooked and presented. Great service too - attentive without being intrusive. A lovely evening out.
