We loved the food and enjoyed our visit very much. Pate and Seabass were the choice we made which were very tasty.
As always Wreckfish first class, food and ambience !
The food was lovely and great value. I would highly recommend to anyone. Service was also great throughout the evening.
Wonderful food - again! Great choice of drinks. Amazing service! Love this place x
Great food and great location. Love the opportunity to see the kitchen at work
I judge a restaurant on 3 things - food, service, ambience. Rarely do you get all 3 ! So how often do we settle for 2??? Wreckfish got 3/3 with superb, knowledgeable, happy team from the minute we arrived to when we left. We ate at 2pm and left about 4.30, on a boiling hot Easter Saturday, lovely buzz of chatter, background noise. Will definitely visit again. Had heard great things and it lived up to the reputation. Thank you
I cannot reccomend Wreckfish enough! Food is always on point & the service is always outstanding! Love, love, love visiting here. You guys are doing an awesome job!
Excellent, amazing food and fantastic service. 😀😀😀😀
This is another wonderful dining experience to enjoy. Located close enough to Albert Docks, yet discreetly away from the maddening crowds, Gary (owner/inspiration/dining entrepreneur) has established yet another jewel for a lovely meal out with friends. The food is excellent value for money, wonderful choice and cooked, prepared and served with fresh ingredients, lots of TLC and with an assuming smile. The staff were helpful, courteous and yet at a distant. Highly recommend the early bird menu choice (b4 7:00 pm). The starters were all great and not too filling, the main course choices, especially fresh sea bass or linguine was mouth watering and Tokan bean dessert a great way to finish and all for GBP 21. Will definitely have to visit again. Thank you :-)
Great food, service and ambience, pretty cool decor as well!
Excellent food and service. When in Liverpool next would definitely visit again. The service can only be described as perfect.
I recently visited and had a two course lunch with wine. Both the main course of braised featherblade of beef (with incredible parmesan and truffle chips), and the sticky toffee pudding were very very good.
Service was perfect, with attentive staff who brought food from the pass as soon as it was ready.
The positioning of the kitchen to the ground floor area of the restaurant, with its open access into the space meant you can watch your meal being prepared, and also smell the fantastic aromas.
I'll definitely be looking to return in the near future.
Great food! 10/10. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Liverpool.
Food and service first class enjoy the whole experience and will definitely go back
First visit to this restaurant & what a delight! Staff extremely friendly & welcoming. Ambience was lovely for a Saturday evening. The food was amazing, started with Faccacia which was melt in the mouth & oozing with flavour but so light, Pork Collar Bone amazing. Mains, Braised Featherblade of Beef & Buttered Roasted Guinea Fowl. Both absolutely delicious, flavours to die for! I don’t normally go for dessert but too irresistible so we went for Cheese Board & Honeycomb Semifreddo. Again fab! Food presented beautifully & highly recommend a visit. Big thank you to the chefs!
Excellent service, staff and atmosphere. The two ladies who looked after us, couldn’t have been more helpful and had a great sense of humour. I liked the nice touch of the chef bringing us are main course.
Lovely place, sat down at 6pm, first ones in there but it quickly filled up. Not extensive menu but just enough choice. Each had three courses and every one was lovely. Standout dish was feather blade beef. Desserts were a little different and also good. Top marks would go again
Good food nicely presented and well cooked. Slightly unusual flavours and combinations
Very good food and service. Flank Steak and truffle oil/Parmesan chips were outstanding.
2nd visit and the food was as good as previous visit (despite the potatoes being missed off the 2 fish dishes!). Service very good, ambience very relaxed, will visit again.
One of the nicest places I've eaten at recently in Liverpool. Been a few times over the last 6 months and the food has always been superb, the staff friendly and attentive and the restaurant lively but not too noisy.
Thanks for you lovely review, Hope to see you soon. Ashley
Very good service and the usual high standard interesting food. Pleasant ambiance downstairs and lovely professional staff.
Thanks for your great review, I will make sure the staff get to read it, Thanks again, Ashley
We loved it there . Great end to the grand national. Food was served quickly , was warm , presented well and very tasty. Will be back soon 👍
First time diners at Wreckfish. We love the Burnt Truffle in Heswall so thought we would give sister restaurant in town a go for Grand National night. Feather blade and truffled home-made chips delicious. Meat moist and tender. Good food, great value.
Myself and my wife had been planning to visit the restaurant for a long time and finally got around to it on Saturday. It was worth the wait, the food was beautiful, the atmosphere was vibrant without being too loud.
We are so pleased you enjoyed your visit, come back soon! Ashley
Had a family meal at Wreckfish on Grand National day. This was our third visit and as before it was a fantastic experience. Excellent food and friendly staff in a relaxed setting. We will definitely be back.
Been here on a number of occasions and never disappointed. The service is fantastic and the food is excellent. It has a friendly atmosphere and we would always recommend this restaurant to others.
The food is just unbeatable here, its the second time I have sampled the delights, I wish it could be more! The best food I have tasted in years
About my fourth visit to this wonderful destination restaurant. Highly recommended.
I brought some friends visiting from the south who loved the whole experience and were amazed to find such fantastic food and friendly staff.
First visit, had set meal, will definitely visit again
Super food, friendly staff and nice decor though I would not have wanted to be tabled downstairs.
Only problem was our table was by the front door and it was very draughty whenever anyone opened the door or worse held it open! Could easily be rectified and I think you should do that.
Otherwise service was very good, ambience good and food excellent.
Great food and service.
Was recommended this restaurant by my brother. Really enjoyed the food as did my friends. Different tastes. Hope to come back.
Food and service couldn't have been any better. All in all a lovely first experience of Wreckfish. Expensive but totally worth it.
Love this place. Happy and accommodating staff. The menu is small but the quality of the food is superb.
Went for Sunday roast, everything was perfect apart from how tough the beef was, explained to the lady and she dealt with us very well. I’m a butcher myself so understand it wasn’t the cooking of the beef but more the quality.
It was a good offer for Mothers day but the meet was quite chewy, the potatoes where not the best.
I would return to try the fish but really thought the meal was good, but not the best when you consider how amazing Liverpool is for independent restaurants
Came along for my boyfriend's birthday. I didn't state this at the time of booking, but our server heard me talking to him about it, and brought him over a birthday plate at the end of the meal. Such a lovely touch!
Food itself was excellent, especially the fresh pasta with smoked butter. Wine selection was also very good. Service was really very good, especially considering the hosts were also serving.
Genuinely lovely evening, and we'll be back very soon!
