Wonderful food! Booked after reading reviews and it exceeded expectations. We had the early dinner deal which was very good value indeed.

Seated on ground floor which was very nice. Thought the use of bar spoiled the ambience of the restaurant just a little. Would it not be a better idea not to have the bar and have more tables?

Food excellent, ambiance great especially upstairs when you are a small party, downstairs more suitable for larger parties.

My partner and I came to WreckFish to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful time.

The food is excellent, the service is great, and the small touch of a complimentary anniversary plate from the restaurant was a really nice touch.

Thanks so much for a lovely evening!

The ambience is hot and smell fish and beef, besides is too smoke. The food is good, but the price is too high for the quality.

No very good service. Was a busy Saturday night but that shouldn’t make any difference. Had better value elsewhere.

Early Valentines Celebrations for myself and my partner.
Wreckfish came highly recommended and it did not disappoint.
The food was amazing.
I had the Braised beef, and my partner had the Salmon.
Both of which were Excellent.
I can not recommend Wreckfish enough.
I’m already looking forward to our next visit.

Our first time at this restaurant, after being highly recommended by friends.
An enjoyable experience as far as the food was concerned, but the service was very disappointing.
Our waiter made very little effort to engage, during our ordering and the serving of our meal.

I booked a 2.30pm slot online only to be told on arrival that the kitchen takes last orders at 2.30pm. My friend and I were given about 10 minutes to place our order from an unknown menu. Our waitress was very helpful and handled my complaint very well. I didn't like anything on the fixed menu so I ordered the pate and halibut. Pate was ok but bread was too oily and my fish was tasteless, served with a tiny piece of potato and a chunk of fennel that was so tough, stringy and disgusting I had to remove it from my mouth being unable to chew it sufficiently. I won't be going there again any time soon.

Sort out your toilets guys, not a good look in a restaurant. Sure it was a temporary issue but lost you a star. Otherwise great food and service. Will be coming back.

As per usual the night at Wrekfish was faultless. Busy and buzzing the atmosphere is great and ever changing menu means the food is never boring.
Been here loads of times and will keep coming - favourite place to eat by far.

What a wonderful restaurant. very attractive and very clean. It felt quite intimate but not so much that it wasn't comfortable for two friends catching up.
The food is amazing - some of the best I have ever tasted. I am 60 and have eaten in a lot of restaurants.
The cocktails are a bit different - I had one with vodka, grapefruit and rosemary which is delicious.
The staff are lovely and didn't make us feel rushed - we were talking a lot!
The background music was good and not so loud that we couldn't hear ourselves.
It was my birthday and I was brought a decorated plate with home made fudge and honeycomb - bliss.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant and will definitely return even if not for a special occasion.
Thank you Wreckfish - see you soon.

We went for lunch. The choices on the fixed price menu were a bit limited, but then that's personal preference. My husband didn't see anything he liked so he had the shin beef off the main menu, which was excellent. The portion size was a bit large for me. All courses were tasty and well presented. The glazed carrots were very good. The wine was on the expensive side but reasonable choice. Service was excellent and friendly.

We had brunch for the second time and we were not disappointed. Beautifully cooked, fresh produce. We had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with toast, smashed avocado, poached eggs with bacon on sourdough and pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. Highly recommend. Thank tou again Wreckfish. Great service as usual.

Had a table booked for 4people. I was looking forward to a nice meal with my friends .
We were taken downstairs to our table.
The was bad smells from your toilets. We were sat not far from the toilets and it was rather unpleasant. Then food wasn’t up to expectations when it arrived. Portions were too small and we waited over 45 Minutes for our main ,my friend said the Salmon was very dry and my Halibut fish was very small and not enough food on the side. Our bread didn’t turn up as I asked on two occasions.
Also there were4 Ladies on the round table next to us not far from the toilets and they said the smells were bad. I asked the waiter about the smells and she replied she couldn’t smell anything.
We paid the bill and left a £10 tip .
My Brother recommended me to eat at the Wreckfish as he has eaten there several times .
But overall we were disappointed with our experience .

Good food great staff and nice ambiance especially upstairs (if you are a couple less important if you are downstairs with a group) a little pricey but then again is down to the ‘demon drink’.

We've booked for lunch on a Saturday for 4 adults and a 3year old. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the service excellent. We all enjoyed our food choices which were well presented and tasty. Two chose the pork osso bucco which they said was delicious. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and friendly without the tables being too close together. We would choose to eat there again on our next visit to Liverpool and would certainly recommend it to others.

First time I'd been and really enjoyed it - food, service, atmosphere were all great - only one, slightly odd ...more of a comment than a complaint! I can't remember which starter my friend had, but it was massive! Not normally an issue I'm sure, and it was delicious, but the portion size was so big it did put him off the main course a bit, so maybe just check on that but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed it.
