Best restaurant in Liverpool! Took our 3 month old baby for her first visit and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Food, as always was outstanding and such great value. See you soon!

Food was good.. not as tasty as first time we went, this was the Sunday menu , so more limited options maybe. Screaming child sat right behind me hence noise level, otherwise excellent ambience and service

I have been before and had a great experience. On this visit menu wasn't really thought through. For a rosette restaurant combination of flavours wasn't exceptional or not even ok. Some dishes were good and some not at all.

This was our second visit, not quite as good as the first, but very good nevertheless. We ordered the sirloin on the bone for two. The meat was quite rare, so for us a bit too chewy and not bro tasty. Not sure why this dish was so expensive £65 for two in comparison to the other dishes. All in all a really nice meal - comments above are feedback and not a complaint.

Food was incredible. Wine was delicious. Overall a lovely evening with family.
Only slight annoyance was that we were the last people left in the evening and the staff were polishing cutlery, swapping out bottles in the fridges and generally clearing away for the night and making a lot of clatter and noise which felt very much as they wanted to close up and it slightly rushed the end of our night.

Food was delicious and the course menu pricing was very good. The only thing was that although we booked in advance we were shown to a table downstairs even though there were 2 tables available upstairs. The upstairs space is much nicer and light compared to the basement area. Would come back again and would recommend, but we would probably just push back if they tried to seat us downstairs.

Lovely warm welcome, taken to a table by the window where we could see the kitchen. Great service and the food was amazing. The flavours were amazing and so was the presentation. Will definitely be returning.

Wonderful food, beautifully presented, plenty of choice for vegetarians and pescatarians. Excellent value for money. One of the best dining places in the city. Can't wait to return.

Always know we’ll get quality food in a relaxed & friendly setting. First time for breakfast but just as good as always-loved the scrambled egg with smoked salmon.

Having been to piñon was really looking forward to this as that was amazing. Bread and olives was the best thing. I went for the risotto starter there was no taste at all like, not even been seasoned. I left most of it and the waitress didn’t even ask how was your meal when taking it away. My partner got the chicken wings which were nice. I got the lamb come with a cucumber salad ordered truffle chips thank god would have been starving, lamb was tasty but could of done with a sauce. My partner got the beef the red wine jus he never complains( only to me) but he couldn’t eat it was so bitter tasting and he really wasn’t enjoying it.
They dealt with it ok offered another meal and took his meal off the bill but he just wanted to get the bill and go. We really appreciate nice food but this was such a let down and a pricey one. Wine was lovely but definitely won’t ever go back ☹️

This was our first visit but definitely won’t be our last. Food was delicious although a little on the expensive side, but we thought it was worth it. Jamie was a very attentive waiter and kept us topped up on drinks. Very attractive interior and good atmosphere. Only slight criticism is regarding the toilets, only two ladies toilets one of which didn’t lock. Overall a lovely enjoyable evening 😊

Have had evening meal and we were really pleased no complaints at all but we had full English breakfast and were disappointed two rashers of streaky bacon which we felt should of been cooked a bit more .expected a decent back bacon and maybe two eggs .for £11 each . The black pudding was delicious but the rest was a bit of a let down very little flavour from bacon ,if cooked more surely that's were the flavour is in streaky bacon and more than two thin slices !!!!!

Our visit to Wreckfish was to celebrate a birthday. My friend is vegan and found that she had a good choice of dishes. I had fish with the most delicious sauce. We would certainly return to this excellent restaurant.

Having visited Sticky and Burnt a number of times, this was our first time at Wreckfish. A downstairs table was our location. One of our group said she’d read another reviewer on T/Advisor complain about being downstairs and made the review a one star - genuinely cant understand that. On our Saturday 3rd August table at 7.30, there were plenty of diners there and the room pleasantly buzzed. Service was good and the food was unsurprisingly very good! We’ll get round the other hostelries of Chef Gary Ushers’ group of Bistro’s and have little doubt they’ll be just as good! Really good evening was had by one and all! Highly recommended.

Wreckfish was recommended by friends. We had the 3 course lunch menu which was superb. At only £22 per head the value was extrordinary. Good choice of windsor too. Highly recommended.

Spent a lovely Friday evening in Wreckfish with my parents. Attentive staff and delicios food. Was seated upstairs which on a summer's evening was ideal. Drinks, food and ambiance to be recommended.

Amazing evening spent at Wreckfish. Food was of a great quality, good portion size and catered brilliantly for one of our guests who was a coeliac. We were celebrating my birthday and it was a lovely touch that a little desert was brought :) Could not recommended this restaurant highly enough!

Our third visit but first upstairs. Different feel, comfortable and a little noisier.
Service excellent.
Food good again though beef slightly over salted this visit. Seafood dishes are first rate.

Great staff , delicious food - cannot resist the belly pork and the accompanying red cabbage and apple sauce - perfect and cannot forget the roasties! Would love to get the recipe for the cauliflower rissotto that is a triumph. Honeycomb dessert - perfect plus reasonably priced drinks and great ambience. Our go to place for celebrations’

Had been wanting to dine at this place for a long time. Always seemed full, had a good looking dining room and professional looking staff.
So hopes were up when we sat down for an early dinner.
Champagne was great. Focaccia was ok, but had expected something a bit more complicated.
A lot of interesting dishes on the menu. The ones we ended up picking were ok. My risotto were a bit to delicate in its flavours and lacked salt to elevate it. Had lamb as a main protein with truffle chips as a side. This proved to be an odd mix of flavours, but the only choice available unless you wanted an additional salad (the dish came with a cucumber salad). The lamb was cooked ok, but have had a better product in far less posh places. This was the case with most of what we had. Where they kept it simple the flavours and quality were lacking.
We skipped dessert (something we rarely do) and went for the cheese and port. Fine selections. They forgot to bring me the port due to the changing of tables for the late seatings and taking orders from new guests.
All in all we had hoped for something a bit more gastro bistro like. Sort of ended in between the simple well made dishes of a bistro and the the complicated fine dining restaurants.
