As always service was professional and friendly. Especially when asking about various options and asking for recommendation. Food was excellent. This is my favourite restaurant when I want a Sunday roast its simply the best in my opinion.

overall a good experience, but food was only average, felt a little disappointed. Staff pleasant and attentive. but probably won't be going back .
Worst thing was the toilets not particularly clean and although 2 ladies and 1 gents , a shared washroom , people used any toilet that was vacant , not expected in a restaurant rated highly .

We dined here early on a Friday evening so the tables were all still filling up hence the slightly lower score for ambience. This said the food was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. We will definitely return.

Amazing food, lovely staff and really relaxed ambiance. Bit on the more expensive side compared to similar in that part of town but would choose here for a special meal or night out because of value and quality of food.

Truly feast for the taste buds
Old fashion classics modernised into a sensational flavoursome concoction of loveliness.
Attentive and relaxed service complemented the up beat original urban interior.
Informal and cool place.
Chef came and said hi and made it even more welcoming.
Deserves all the praise it can get.
Must have -Truffle and parmisan fries xxx

As with Kala and Sticky Walnut we had great food at Wreckfish. The service was perfect and it’s just a nice place to be. Can’t fault it.

Had a really enjoyable evening. We were sat in the main restaurant, which mean we were able to watch the chefs prepare the meals in the open kitchen. Excellent Meal!!

Great service. Great food. Great wine.

Only issue was that the chocolate tart seemd to have a skin on it, which was a little odd. Other than that, every dish was beautifully cooked.

We will definitely be revisiting!

I'm a regular visitor to Liverpool and enjoy eating out when there.
I hadn't come across Wreckfish previously and found it by doing an internet search on last Friday evening.
I booked our table online after looking over the menu.
We arrived on time and we're met by friendly staff who seated us straight away and took our coats.
We had a 4 course meal and both my wife and I throughly enjoy each one, really delicious food, served perfectly. Good wine selection and excellent coffee.
Only downside was that it was a cold night and where we were seated we felt the elements each time the door was opened.
Will be back again.

Treated my mum To a day out in town..went at 6pm to Wreckfish..loveley staff...attentive...cool vibe about the place..food unique and tasty..comfortable and the Service was good...Reasonably priced ..good value for money..I will try Pinion now in Prescot based on my experience at Wreckfish..
I would recommend to friends and go again soon..
Oh and my mum loved it aswell.!

Excellent service and food and a cozy atmosphere. Loved it from start to finish. Staff were very attentive without being overpowering and food was delicious and great value (we had the 3 course lunch time menu for £22). Worth every penny. Will be back again very soon.

Warm welcome by Si followed by complimentary drinks by Josh after our original booking was cancelled by Wreckfish (6 months earlier) due to kitchen refurbishment. Excellent customer relationship. We choice the set menu to try the food at the restaurant and all the courses were amazing for the prices. After having the meal we decided to have drinks in the bar to free the table.

Excellent training of all the staff who gave fantastic customer service, especially from Josh.

Well done to Gary and all his staff.

This restaurant is one of the best finds - easily booked, wonderful welcome and food to die for. Attention to detail from our servers, Joe and Jamie second to none and had the privilege of talking to Head Chef Ryan about his team's "magic". Food superb throughout but highlights were the Special Pork Belly - Sublime and the Honeycomb Semifreddo - taste buds delight!!! Huge thanks to all involved for a truly 5 star experience!! WE WILL BE BACK!!👏👏👏😋😋👍👍👍.

We had a lovely meal to finish off our lovely weekend in Liverpool. Food was excellent and the service very friendly. When we visit again we will definitely be back and already recommended to friends.

Wreckfish has a cool vibe and great ambiance. We ordered the feather blade beef and the duck for mains which were both cooked to perfection and the veggie accompaniments were also superb. That was followed by Creme brûlée which had a perfect balance of sweet crust and rich creamy filling washed down with an excellent chianti. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient but not obtrusive. Would recommend for an intimate evening or family get together.

After having eaten delicious food at a couple of the other Elite Bistros in Manchester I thought I’d give Wreckfish a try. I was in LiverpooI on my own for a weekend and booked myself in on Saturday evening for diner. I had a lovely table upstairs where as a solo diner I could people watch and kitchen watch. The kitchen is open to the restaurant so you can watch and hear all the activity.
There was almost a complete turnaround of the seating upstairs during my first course and the staff were incredibly efficient and it was all done smoothly and quietly. Turning a large table into tables for 2 which were then quickly occupied. There was a lovely atmosphere and I even had chats with a couple of other diners.
The room restaurant is beautiful, nicely decorated and lit, I regret not arriving earlier and having a drink at the cute little bar that is in the back of the restaurant.
Service was faultless from the moment I arrived. I ordered duck hearts followed by venison loin with a black garlic ‘reduction’(?). The only thing I would change is that I would have liked a slightly larger piece of focaccia with the duck hearts, but only because it was so delicious and there was still some left over juices that I didn’t want to waste. The Venison Loin was cooked perfectly.
My dessert was chocolate sable biscuit to which they kindly added ice cream as I can’t eat cherries.
The wine list is good offering a wide range of price points.

The three course set menu lunch time: the food was superb, beautifully presented, perfect portion sizes, starter and main incredibly tasty and fresh, and delicious desserts. Excellent service and a very good wine. Unbelievably good value. This was our second visit.
