If you like oysters, I'd highly recommend this place. Great selection. Menu is fairly small but still a decent selection of unique dishes. Services was excellent and the food was superb. Will definitely return!
Borough market WB is fantastic. Battersea was average, had to send a meal back, maybe an off day.
I booked Wright Brothers for mothers day, and had such a lovey time there. The food was amazing, great portion sizes and fantastic cocktails!!! Great customer service and child friendly.
We will definitely be returning, thanks for making my mothers, mothers day a special one!
The food was outstanding, particularly the black pepper crab, and the service charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely return
Great vibe. Amazing food. Very attentive staff. All in a great night.
It is a very nice place with a spectacular view. It was freezing when we were there but I really want to come in a nice sunny whether and enjoy the view.
Really lovely treat and a great surrounding. I recommend to everyone!
The only reason I marked ambience down was that the place was almost empty at lunchtime. It won't stop me going back. We were very well looked after and had a delicious meal. Friendly staff. I see they do happy hour for oysters (eaters' happiness, not the oysters'!).
Great location, delicious food, v good service and were charming to our five year old twins who’s birthday we were celebrating . Will definitely be returning.
Great food. Great service and friendly. Lovely evening.
Great quality seafood and wine. Great service.
Very nice setting in a waterfront location, ideal for weekend meals.
Food and the restaurant was amazing, guy on the door was really accomodating. We were made to feel very comfortable, the food came out very quickly so we barely had to wait.
All in all was a perfect evening, it's obviously a little pricey but it's very nice food. Our waiter wasn't hugely friendly though.
Order the scallops!
Very nice food, excellent staff and atmosphere, very friendly and polite. Excellent bar and drinks. Very nice location near the river and Battersea Park. Quite pricey but understandable considering the high quality of food and drinks and definitely worth it for a special occasion. Could do with some live music perhaps.
We enjoyed our experience from start to finish! Our first time at Wright Brothers Battersea, and it happened to be on Valentine's Day evening. The chef/kitchen got it "completely right" without offering a set menu on one of the busiest dining nights of the year, and the restaurant just opened 2 months ago - this is an amazing accomplishment! We ordered starters off the regular menu and our main was one of the specials - one must try to chargrilled octopus starter. Fish was fresh, hot and delicious; service was friendly, attentive and competent. Atmosphere was a combination of romantic but still buzzy, and the Thames river view is fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant, and this comes from someone who has dined at 400+ restaurants in London in the past 5 years.
Nice food, very kind service, kid friendly,
Everything was perfect!
Delightful position by the Thames. Charming and attentive, but not over attentive, staff. The usual hard surface décor but high ceilings may help to limit noise; not bad at lunchtime. Pleasant furnishings but tables very close together. Fish, hake and halibut, excellent quality and well presented but to my taste, cooked I believe on a barbeque grill, it was overdone, judging by the Rick Stein standard; it was opaque. By contrast boiled potatoes were undercooked. I shall go again but ask for the fish to be less cooked. It's early days and I expect improvement.
Wonderful venue with amazing seafood. The daily specials were unique and delicious. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating, and they were not overly intrusive. We were two couples out for a new experience at a relatively new restaurant. We were very happy with our entire evening, great seafood, exciting special cocktails and a wonderful bottle of wine...what more would you need.
Wright Brothers Battersea is a definite top of the list....
Had a lovely meal here with friends. The Manager Tony was so friendly and personable and all the waiting staff were delightful. Food was fresh and tasty and the setting near Chelsea bridge is extremely picturesque! Try it out if you are in the neighbourhood.
£1 oyster! The dream!
Nice seafood but the steak was not great. Good portion, slight expensive though.
We were really impressed with the food and service. Looking forward to go there again.
Some really nice dishes but nothing that was really wow - Cod Neck and Octopus was the highlight for me. Mario really looked after us though
Positive aspect - food was v fresh
Our waiter was good and attentive
Negative aspect- we waited 40 minutes for our starter which was smoked salmon!
Table was too small and too close to the next one.
Very difficult to get to if you are driving. No parking nearby.
Wonderful setting and fabulous decor. Had a great offer from their soft opening so 50% off all food!
Smoked oysters were to die for!
Hake was buttery, melt in your mouth soft flakes.
Couldn’t speak highly enough on this place and the staff were right on point.
The food was incredible. Very private sitting at the bar. But rather overpriced. Great for dates, drinks and seafood of course!
Good food and hopefully the service will be smoother next time.
Excellent evening, charming service and really really Fresh oysters
Went with a toddler who was very well catered for. Food was amazing but we are great fish lovers.
Marta our waitress was great. She was very attentive and polite. A credit to the company.
Poor. About half of the main courses on the menu were not available. Three tables around us had the same problem. It is unacceptable to take bookings when you know there is not enough food to feed the guests. I was also disappointed with the food. It was ok, but only ok. Mussel sauce was bland. Squid salad was unremarkable. Plain dressed crab. Not up to the standard to which i have become accustomed at restaurants in this price range. Poor.
Great service and friendly staff! Lovely ambience and decor at this new branch. Delicious seafood options however the steak was over cooked.
The Seafood platter was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for a cosy meal as tables are quite close together.
Excellent that's why we returned
Absolutely incredible. Couldn’t reccomend any higher.
Fantastic food and I am not even that keen on fish food; staff were friendly although the waitress was a bit clumsy but it was funny rather than annoying. I would definitely recommend it; however, only for special occasions, a treat or business meals as it is a bit on the pricey side.
The recently opened Wright Brothers restaurant at Battersea Power Station didn't disappoint! The evening was fantastic! I had the scallops with truffled artichoke for starter which were creamy and delicious and the Dover sole for main and sides which was wonderful. My husband had the Charcoal grilled wild red Argentinian prawns for starter and Sea Bass for his main and we shared 1/2 doz oysters and I can honestly say, the food was fabulous! The service was impeccable and the ambience of the restaurant was perfect! Very cosy with lovely views of the Thames make it an ideal restaurant for a date night or a quiet intimate evening with good friends and a great bar to hang out afterwards! Overall, a great restaurant and I look forward to going back again.
2nd time here and will be back great food and staff
We've been to both the Borough and South Kensington restaurants and the meal at Battersea was at the same high standard that we have come to expect from Wright Brothers. Our friendly waiter recommended favourite dishes and we heartily took him up on them. The standouts for us were the Galacian octopus and two of the specials - Langoustine croquettes and Brixham dover sole. We shared a lovely fresh Viognier and had our water glasses regularly topped up with cold tap water. Not to overindulge, as it was a Wednesday, we shared a divine chocolate pud with honeycomb ice cream.
We were lucky enough to have 50% taken off the food bill as we dined when it was part of the soft launch but we would have been delighted to pay the full price for our experience.
Quality of the food is excellent - no doubt about this. Prices in relation to quantity and quality definitely upscale but your tastebuds will justify this.
We thought it was a good restaurant, the staff and management have been well trained and we will return with friends. Two points, the specials were top end price wise and might need to re think the cost a little, the other did not like sitting on the table for two when one of you faces into the empty private room rather than turning the tables and at least you could both have a side ways view of the river.
Food took forever , waiter did not explain menu so we ordered too little
Service was horrible
There was a massive gap between each course very unprofessionally served
We were so hungry by the time the food came it wasn’t enough
We left lunch not at all satisfied
